Food gets 5 stars but delivery service gets 2 stars. I used to eat here back in the early 2000s and moved away from Bay Ridge. Returning to Bay Ridge after 15 years and was exciting to eat Circle’s grill chicken sandwich. Mind you, I just moved back to Bay Ridge and living out of boxes until I unpack. There was no lemon slices in the calamari, no utensils, no salt, no pepper and no napkins, etc

It’s a cool spot, I enjoy there chicken cutlet on Pita with sauce an mozzarella the platter comes with salad. I usually order to go an it’s usually a easy process but they do tend to not give any utensils or napkins. Not a huge deal but it is annoying when your working an on the go. There service is decent as I did eat in a few times, very old school vibe an cute. I enjoyed the dinner setting. Overall decent not fancy an I would come back for a quick Togo lunch.

My first time ordering from here and I have to say, it was excellent. First off, yea yea, the sandwiches come with salad. No biggie for me as I just care about the sandwich. The prices are very reasonable and they have a good selection. I got the Genoa is Melting sandwich. Amazing. The bread was nice and soft and fresh. The cheese was melted perfectly. One of the best sandwiches I can recall in recent memory. And yes, I ate the salad with russian dressing, which was delicious as well. I also got an order of Mozzarella En Carozza which was surprisingly very delicious as well as the sauce it came with. My wife got the Big Steak sandwich and loved it. The steak was nice and tender, again the bread was nice and soft and fresh. Absolutely no complaints. Also, the delivery was very fast. I live close by but so far they have been the quickest in the neighborhood. I look forward to eating in the place soon, as I walk by pretty much every day. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a good sandwich.

I have been eating from circle’s since I was a kid. One of my favorite places to eat in Bay Ridge. Some of my favorites are the chicken cutlet circle, the burger, the chicken piccata, and the muenster circle. Anything that I have ever eaten from there has been delicious. The staff is friendly. Even when getting the food for delivered, it still tastes just as good and it is always a fast delivery. The delivery guy Greg is also very friendly and the food is always still nice and hot when it is delivered!!!

Ordered from here twice and both times it was pretty subpar. Pita sandwiches were bland and had absolutely no flavor. Ham sandwich was simply ham and cheese and lettuce, nothing else. Salad came with tasteless oil and vinegar. $ 16 for two bland sandwiches is pointless. Gave them a star because of the décor and they have been in bay ridge for a while. But seems like they are extremely lazy with their culinary flair.

Ok so first of all, all of the sandwiches came with a salad instead of fries. As someone who loves salad, this wasn’t a huge issue, but I found it very odd. I’ve never seen that before. Sandwiches usually always come with chips of fries and you can substitute for salad. Here, if you want fries you have to pay an extra $ 2 or something. Weird. I had no idea what to order since it was a typical diner menu with 800 options from pasta dishes to a sandwich. Calamari appetizer — greasy and tasteless. The marinara was average and that was the only thing giving that calamari some flavor. As someone who orders calamari at every single restaurant, this was not good calamari. I ordered the thanksgiving turkey dinner sandwich. With the damn salad. I was expecting big hearty pieces of white bread, fresh hot turkey, homemade stuffing with a huge scoop of cranberry. That’s how my mom has always made it! That is not what it was. 2 plain pieces of white bread. Dry turkey slices. Bread crumbs(stuffing? Even boxed stuffing is better)… & some cranberry. It was disgustingly dry. The stuffing was not stuffing. I kept trying to steal bites of my boyfriend’s sandwich because his was at least on some Italian bread with mozz. The salad. Lettuce with a couple hunks of tomato. They didn’t have salad dressing options. They only had house dressing. No, it just was not good. It just tasted like straight vinegar. I won’t be back. There are plenty of other places to eat.

Huge menu with many options for any kind of foodie. Speedy and friendly service. The interior is welcoming and makes you feel like you are in someone’s home not in a restro.

This place has A LOT on their menu. It’s a cute diner-style restaurant. Why I gave it 2 stars: 1. Calamari appetizer — red sauce and calamari, pretty cheap. However, there was no flavor at all. As someone who orders calamari once a week, this was not good calamari. The sauce was just red sauce, but even covering the calamari in the red sauce didn’t make it much better. Very disappointed. 2. I ordered the Genoa salami, mozz sandwich on garlic bread. It came with salad. The salad was average & had«house vinaigrette»(vinegar on lettuce) on it but I liked the sandwich. Can’t go wrong with Genoa salami. 3. My girlfriend ordered the«mom’s leftover turkey sandwich» which was white bread, cranberry, stuffing(bread crumbs) and extremely dry turkey. It came with the salad too. I had half of hers because she didn’t like it. Good prices but you get what you pay for. Overall the place had a weird vibe.

Great place for a family dinner, enjoyed the light, airy vibe to the place. The eggplant parm was delicious as were the mushroom caps. Generous portions at a great price, will definitely go back!

R.I.P. Circles, a Bay Ridge tradition for over 40 years. Just passed their location and they have gone out of business. Another restaurant is moving in.

Been here a few times for a quick take out order as Im always working an on the go, there food is okay, they don’t ever pack napkins in the togo bag or give plastic utensils. I actually went in an had dinner there with my family one night an again it was okay. very old school vibe, our food took a while to come but was again okay. I would come in again if I’m in the area to grab a small lunch an go!

Really spacious and perfect for my family — there were 5 of us with 2 kids and everyone was able to order something they liked from the large menu. I wasn’t a fan of my tuna melt but I loved the penne alla vodka and big steak sandwich :)

I like this place. It has a good menu and everything is a good price. I order the fried calamari every time I come. Sorta wish they had a bigger bar, but they do serve alcohol. I like coming here because it has a bit of everything. It has french, Cajun, middle eastern. You can get smaller dishes and large dinners. The service used to be slow at times, but it seems much better lately. There is also a front counter for take-out orders, but I’ve always gone in and eaten.

Extensive Menu with lots of good choices!, Their entrée section has Italian, French, Cajun, Spanish and German dishes. I opted for the Thai Special Calamari and was pleased: The calamari had the right consistency, and the sauce was delicious. They have a counter at the front and a few tables for quick counter service, a full dining area in the next room, and a private event area in addition to that. The owner is a happy character, most of the people that came in were excited to see him. He came over to our table to check on us, and made us laugh for a few minutes while we waited for our food. All in all, its a good Neighborhood spot to stop by and sample a taste of Bay Ridge and the cultures that influence it,
