Haven’t been in a while but love this place, friendly staff, outlets and tasty doughnuts on the weekends.

Coffee and lattes are top notch. Free wifi, long tables with wall sockets close by so you can work, a clean bathroom, nice clean staff. Oh yea and the waffles are a must.

I tried their rose latte and Belgium waffle a while ago. Both are very good. I like the atmosphere of the coffee shop. It’s bright and clean. Also, they have outdoor seating in the backyard.

Came here with a girlfriend to caffeinated ourselves on a Sunday morning. The coffee is pretty mediocre and the rose latte tastes way too artificial and sweet. The place is cute and hipster with lots of tables for studying/getting some work done. There’s also a small patio in the back with some seating on nice days. Service is fine. There is only one bathroom, which can be problematic. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back, but it’s a nice option for a place to meet a friend or get some work done.

Had an amazing mocha and the friendly customer centric staff are pleasures. What is not to love about waffles served from 11am until 6pm.

Cappuccino is better than the café au lait. Dough donuts are a plus. A good variety of toasts and waffles are available but I didn’t get a chance to sample. Perchance next time! Nice shop with ample seating and table space for the conscientious(and slackers).

I recently changed my barber right across the street from Coffee Rx. I almost fell asleep during my 45-minute haircut so I can probably use a coffee next time before I visit the barbershop. Coffee Rx seems like a chill place to catch with friends or a place for students to study. Wi-Fi is free. There were many customers using their laptops in the shop. We sat outdoors in the intimate backyard garden. It was lovely and clean. Nutella Latte $ 5.00(S) — I have a huge sweet tooth. This latte should be very satisfying for any Nutella lover. The latte was very sweet but even my sweet tooth couldn’t finish the bottom part of the cup. Recommended! I’ve also heard great things about the Nutella Monster so I will be sure to give it a try next time around. Rose Latte $ 4.75(S) — Unique rose taste with a cool latte art presentation – the latte is made with real rose petals and tastes amazing! Cranberry Oatmeal Cookie ~$ 3(approximate price) — The cookie was a product of Dough. It went well with the latte. The cookie was hard on the outside and chewy on the inside. It wasn’t too sweet and was just right. Nutella Banana Belgian Waffles $ 7 — Consisted of soft Belgian waffles and bananas with a slab of Nutella on top. You really can’t go wrong with this if you’re a Nutella lover. There was nothing special about the waffle but I would probably skip for another snack next time. If you’re in the area and would like to get away from the popular Starbucks, Coffee Rx is an excellent option. Staff was very friendly and I loved the chill space out in the garden.

This is a really calming cute shop with delicious lattes. We had the lavender latte which was a tinge sweet maybe but super pleasing. Wife is easily accessible and there is good seating though you will most likely be sharing a large table with others. The location of Coffee Rx is not too far from where the Bay Ridge Marathon is so it’s a great spot before heading out for a walk or to relax after a walk outside. Prices are a little high for a small drink but it’s unique and tasty! And ambience is good for studying.

This spot is locate conveniently down the block from the house, which I am so thankful for! I found this spot a little bit less than a year ago, and this place have grown(menu wise and attraction wise) exponentially. During my last visit here, the menu have extended far past just the mocha latte that was offer as their sweet espresso drink.(Almost spelled espresso with an «x»… I wonder how many people make that mistake? Not me!) The menu now consist of food as well, which totally beats Starbucks. The food offer includes your breakfast and brunch items, such as oatmeals(with quite a few exotic toppings) along with the waffles. The pricing can be a little pricer but for the quality that is offer in this cute accommodating venue it is worth the extra buck. The coffee here is between $ 2 and $ 4, depending on sizes and they offer classic syrup and honey at the condiment bar that is easily accessible. The lab offers free wifi and outlets, and I am developing a habit of coming here to study for my upcoming GRE, I have no problem focusing. A lot of the patrons similar to myself use this spot as a haven for studying and getting work done, thank you Coffee Lab! The shop also have music in the background, and now they even offer an outside patio seating. The staff offers to bring drinks out to you, and certain times when the barista construct a new concoction they offer taste tests to customers. The outside patio is awesome, it is getting colder but the wooden benches and big tables outside makes it a great spot for group studying. I just noticed today that there is bike station right outside the shop, and the spot of locate conveniently down the block from the train station as well.(R to Bay Ridge) Yay for being a local!

Coffee Rx is definitely the best café in Bay Ridge to study/work at. 1) it is significantly quieter than many other cafes in the neighborhood(aka Starbucks). I like that although they play music here, it is not obnoxiously loud that you can hear it through your headphones. Also, I am very appreciative of the fact that most people that are here are also studying, reading or working, so it is relatively quiet. 2) Large tables, numerous outlets for your electronics, and fast wifi. 3) NUTELLALATTE. It is SO good. It’s like the perfect balance of Nutella and espresso. However, at $ 5 – 6 for a drink, it is a little heavy on your wallet. Also, I noticed on weekends, it does get a bit crowded and it is hard to find a seat especially during the middle of the day.

Definitely a lab and better than Starbucks! The combinations of the drinks are marvelous. Ive never heard of a lavender latte and will definitely try it next time. So on my first visit, I tried the nutella frappé thing and it was the most amazing drink I ever had. Though they didn’t have lactaid, the baristas were very accommodating in trying to help out this lactose intolerant sistah. At the end, I opted for the milk but this rink was ooo so good. I will definitely be back to try all the other«prescriptions» listed here. Expensive, yes but well well worth it. Your taste buds will thank you for this medicine!

I moved to this neighborhood about a year back, and desperately needed a quiet place to study — especially with good coffee to keep me up while reading through my textbooks. Coffee Rx fits the bill perfectly. They have a back area outdoors that is really peaceful and honestly, Instagram-worthy. It can get a bit crowded during the afternoon hours when everyone is trying to get work done, but their coffee is just as good to go!

Saw this cute coffee shop on the show«what would you do?» The décor is so cute and they have some pharmacy textbooks on the side. The shop itself is spacious and has large tables perfect for studying or just hanging out with your laptop. I love all things rose so I’m definitely a fan of the rose iced tea. They’re famous for their Nutella monster drink. If you get it with skim milk it’s not as sweet. They have lavender iced tea and also lattes as well. Sandwiches are served but they do sell out by the end of the day.

The best iced chai in Bay Ridge, but the real stars are awarded to the weekends-only avocado toast: my very favorite dumb California food trend. Yes, it’s basically smushed avocado on ciabatta with spices sprinkled across and a banana for $ 7. But it’s really, really good. Coffee RX(formerly Coffee Lab) also has Dough donuts, cold brew, and some pretty good Belgium waffles that you can get smothered in nutella.

First of all, it’s been re-named Coffee Rx, so note that. I came soon after they opened at 8am on a Saturday, hunting for a waffle, but the nice guy behind the counter said they don’t start waffles until 11am. Wow, that’s just kind of crazy, but ok. I was going to rag on that point a bit more, but when I opted for a simple cup of coffee to stay, served in a nice sized, wide mouthed mug and paired with a fresh chocolate quoissant, I was just very pleased with the cup of coffee. Even starbucks, screws up their basic brews sometimes, so consistency is the watchword here, but this was really a good cup of coffee. Strong enough, but not over powering and not bitter. One of these days, I might go back at lunch time for a waffle.

I was extremely fortunate to find this beauty of a café in Brooklyn one Saturday afternoon. As far as cafes go, I haven’t tried many in BK but if any of them are half as good as Coffee Lab, well I’m going to find myself in the borough way more often! This is a wonderful starbucks alternative, nay — it is on it’s own level of creative atmosphere conducive to productivity via space and coffee. It’s low key, trendy, popular, but not too popular that you can’t go anymore because its too crowded– no it’s a very well situated space, with cordial people, good music, strong wi-fi, good coffee, interesting food… I could go on. I’m just appreciative that in my time of need(to complete some work-related tasks) Coffee Lab was right there to the rescue, allowing me a haven to peacefully, without interruption from city noise — complete what I needed to do. The cappuccino I ordered was great, sandwich too — wow was there a lot of fresh moz. in it — don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed it! Prosciutto too! They kept me going all those hours(which I hadn’t intended to stay but was very glad to!) So, Coffee Lab, you’re a star in my book. and 5 stars on Unilocal!lol Thanks! ~chow!

A great spot to sip-n-chat . Extremely nice service & spotless place! — like seriously clean(yes the restroom too). The set up is a little different, there are long tables that seat 8 – 10 so you share with other customers. Only a few smaller tables. What I love about this place is off to the side they have magazines and newspapers. You can stay as long as you want and just browse the selection or do some work on your laptop. Free wifi– password protected tho;p I ordered the Pomegranate Ice Tea($ 2.75) which came in a tall chilled glass and later had a cappuccino($ 3 – something). I was surprised with the cappuccino, better then I expected. I came too late to try a nutella waffle(they stop serving after 6pm) but I know I’ll be back . Overall nice coffee place for meeting up with friends.
