Don’t eat brunch here. Service was bad, coffee was cold and tasted like water, and the food after 30 minutes arrived cold. Really bad. Only saving grace was the manager who ate the tab and apologized. Which professionally was the right thing to do. I read there Unilocal after the fact, my fault, which they have over 50 o e star ratings. Ugh.

This was a very impressive place. I’ve been to the bulk of the«famous» cocktail lounges and speakeasies in manhattan and this place was somewhat of a breath of fresh air. Expertly crafted cocktails, quick service and welcoming atmosphere. The mixologists here aren’t very social, but it may just be a Brooklyn thing. The food here went above and beyond my expectations. Literally was one of the better steak frites dishes that I’ve ever had(for the money). The fries here are outstanding. You MUST order them. This is a great place for dinner and drinks.

I really love this place… it is not overbearing but relaxed and easy atmosphere. The hostess, waiters, and waitresses are wonderful, attentive, and friendly. The drinks/cocktails are AMAZING… And also very interesting… You can easily spend a great amount of time deciding which drink to have for the night… For Dinner I had the Fried Chicken with Slaw… people of the Unilocal world that FRIEDCHICKEN was soooooo good… it was covered in a light delicious sauce… I ate and asked no questions… lol lol lol… The brussel sprouts are a MUSTHAVE… Looking at you under my lenses… Try the brussel sprouts. My friend tried the Lamb Burger and loved it! Deviled eggs were on the salty side… The best part… the bread pudding… Halleluuuuuu!

Cozy, dim-lit space with an enjoyable, low-key, chill vibe and excellent bartenders. Clover Club sports a vast cocktail menu(Road to Elysium may be the best mixed gin drink I’ve ever tried). Robin greeted us, and was incredibly helpful and friendly. The service overall was seamless, despite there being a very evident rush. Brussel sprouts — bacon, maple vinaigrette. You wouldn’t think a brussel sprout dish could be so great. Fried chicken — honey and hot sauce, 10⁄10 Cheese plate — underwhelming and really tiny. The only regret ordered. Bread pudding — fantastic dessert, overall hit. Pulled pork minis– flavorful sliders, also loved by all. That’s what stands out to me. It’s a shared plate/tapas system. It’s a versatile establishment that can serve as a dinner or a light hangout with some drinks and snacks. Can’t wait to be back.

Great place for cocktails and food. Try the lamb burger, it’s amazing! I love the coconut mint julep :) sometimes they have live music which is nice. It can be busy on the weekends so try to make reservations if you are looking to eat there. The bar is always busy.

I’ve loved every cocktail I’ve tried at this place, and I’ve tried many over the years. Very pleasant space, airy and open in the summer, cosy and comfortably dark in the winter; good and attentive service, but servers don’t get too in-your-face and will leave you alone to chat with your friends for as long as you feel like it. The drinks menu is a great selection, and if you request something off the menu the bartenders will do their very best to produce exactly what you’ve asked for.(They make their own house bitters for some cocktails, which is probably why I haven’t quite been able to recreate Tokyo Drift at home.) The food is quickly prepared and delicious. I’d recommend you order the crisps even if you’re not hungry, because they’re made with duck fat and served with truffle cream. Excellent cheese plates and salads, and their lamb burger is perfectly cooked every time. At brunch, try their fantastic soft scramble, baked eggs, or potato hash, and get bread pudding for the table — it’s exquisite. Amazing place, one of my favorites in Brooklyn, and a good choice whether I’m meeting just one friend for drinks or going out with a group for a meal(but reservations are always recommended — it’s a popular spot for a reason).

I just moved to the neighborhood, and about a million people recommended this place to me in the first month of living here. Came here on a Friday night around 7:45, and was told it’d be a 30 minute wait for 4 people. We went across the street and ordered drinks, and Clover Club called us immediately after they arrived. Clover Club was really understanding and gave us a 20 minute window to get back for our table! Everyone ordered a cocktail, and I was the only one not to like mine(the Willow’s Fizz), but they were all so beautiful. We ordered a good amount of food, all for the table: the mac and cheese, duck fat chips, brussels sprouts, steak over toast and the fried chicken. I’m not THAT easy to impress, but it was actually all really, really good. I could have eaten the entire bowl of mac and cheese by myself, easily, and I am very picky about mac & cheese. I’ve also been on a fried chicken kick lately(see other reviews!) and this was really cool and different. Sweet(the lemon, I believe), but really crunchy and awesome. The waitstaff was really friendly and energetic — listened and talked with us for a while. The bar area really started to fill up at we left, around 11:30, so if you want to eat, I’d go earlier rather than later.

Best cocktail bar I’ve been to in brooklyn During warm days, its sunny and bright… at night they dim the lights and it transforms into a dark and smokey vibe(sans actual smoke). Every cocktail on the menu is perfection and more importantly when you ask for something off the menu, they will offer suggestions and the off the cuff drinks are still equally amazing. On top of the above, the food is great too. Go for day time summery drinks, night time vibes, or dinner.

Sunday afternoon review: I brought a friend here to celebrate her birthday. I’ve often passed this place on a Saturday night and it’s alway packed. Not surprisingly the Sunday crowd was dead. We were greeted and seated well, the cocktail list was extensive. They had a punch on the menu that made me wish we had more in our party. I wanted to try it so badly. The food was delicious, she had oysters and the deviled eggs. I had the brussels sprout and mac n cheese, minus the bacon in both dishes. The mac n cheese was very creamy, If it wasn’t for my never ending diet I would have eaten more. I previously asked the waitress to bring out the bread pudding with a candle, as a treat for the birthday girl. Which they did, and it was also good, extremely sweet. We both put down our forks and pushed the plate away at the same time. We both had diets to preserve! Lol I must check this place out one Saturday night. When the crowd is there!

Super great atmosphere and a lot of space to accommodate a big party! Not the greatest brunch place(though their fare is delicious) but I’m sure past nightfall, this place settles into the groove. Get some of their special cocktails; port of call blew me out of the water.

I came here for brunch. I loved the deviled eggs and the bacon toast appetizers. My baked eggs brunch was flavorful, hearty, and beautifully presented on a black slate. I can tell the chef really cares about the aesthetic and the flavor of the food. The restaurant is beautiful and spacious. I look forward to coming back for dinner.

Came for a private birthday party hosted in the back room which is a fantastic way to experience the wide array of cocktails and food offerings. The Clover Club gin concoction was by far my favorite, and the deviled eggs platter was an easy crowd pleaser. Service was exceptional with the manager coming into the space a few times to assure everyone was having a good time, and servers presenting trays with big smiles and grace despite the increasing sway of merrymakers. Décor was also on point, and the working fireplace was an excellent touch on a chilly night. Will be back!

Really amazing cocktail bar. Try anything on the menu or just ask the bartender to whip up anything unique. I usually ask bartender to mix up something with a spirit that’s outside of my comfort zone. Probably rum or something that I find hard to make a proper cocktail out of at home. Personal favorite if not trying something new is the bourbon, kumquat, oregano concoction(smash of the titans). Drink availability is usually limited by the stock of kumquats. Juices are freshly squeezed and sit on the bar along with the prepared syrups and variety of chopped, sliced fruits. Would give five stars but the food is average to subpar. The stand out item imo are the chips. Sitting at the bar if you’re alone or with another person is preferable since the chairs at the tables are kind of uncomfortable. Vibe in general is very chill, not a pretentious bar. Looks like there is a backroom available for parties? Never asked, but have seen people heading in and out.

CLOVERCLUB!!! By far my favorite cocktail bar in Brooklyn(that explains the exclamation points and capital letters). I’ve been here a few times now and love it every single time. The bartenders are awesome, the drinks are AMAZING and the food is just as amazing. CC is open late and the kitchen Closes an hour before last call. PROTIP: the Log Cabin cocktail with oysters, and a lamb burger for dessert. Location: Downtown Brooklyn

I wouldn’t come back but the place is decent. The food is ok and the service fine but not great. I wouldn’t recommend the fried chicken which sits in way too much sauce however the soft scrambled eggs are good. It took a while to get our food but the atmosphere is nice.

Service is always good here. Coming on a Sunday night with the whole place mostly empty is a blessing. We end up getting the couch seat in the back as if we were at home spread out all our jackets and stuff. The drink were made perfect but you really have to order the right drink. I had a shaolin monk but it sounded better than it tastes tbh. However after destroying that lamb burger, there is nothing to complain about. Lamb burger is juicy and green side is made perfect. I always thought their food is so so but I have to try something else next time. Super cute date spot however it’s pack normally on Fridays and Saturday. Book ahead.

Cool décor, we sat in the front where it was nicely lit. There was a small, intimate room in the rear of the restaurant. Service was kind of cold. We were first seated on a table with an ottoman. This set up has to go. Nobody wants to sit on this. We asked to change our table and the waitress kindly did. Food took about about 30 – 35 minutes to come. Baked Eggs with Truffle and Leeks $ 12 — Superb! It was very tasty but could use more toast to scoop up the eggs. It was served on a iron skillet with a side of salad and toast. Highly recommended. The Englander $ 14 — Delicious, and different. I asked for medium rare and it came out great. The thinly sliced hanger steak showed off the pink-reddish interior. The poached eggs were cooked just right and yolky. I’d also recommend this dish. I would definitely come back again for brunch. There are many options in the vicinity for brunch but Clover Club is a great option if you’re looking to get seated quickly for good food. Café Luluc was up the same block and had a big crowd of people outside the restaurant. Yikes.

First things first, this place is BEAUTIFUL, which pushed my review from a 4 to a 5. The theme is all dark wood and leather, with an air of sophistication that is also friendly and welcoming. The food at Clover Club was also excellent and hubby and I will definitely be back! We arrived shortly before the end of brunch, and our server was gracious enough to take our orders quickly so that we could still get in on it. To eat, I had«The Englander,» which is sliced hanger steak and poached egg. I asked for it medium rare, but it came medium well, but was still delicious! Hubby had the bacon tasting with 3 different slabs of bacon, which was crispy and wonderful. He also had the cheddar grits and also the baked eggs with chorizo. Both came in their own cast iron skillets and were so savory and filled with cheesy goodness :-) We are coming back next time we’re in Brooklyn!

I recently had a house guest who still thought Brooklyn was a «scary» place. To break down these silly stereotypes, I decided to take her on a tour through the borough and decided to try out the brunch at the Clover Club. The atmosphere is 1920’s vintage, like a Boardwalk empire set. I could easily see a bunch of men in fine suits sipping some bubbly but the patrons here are, of course, the more modern variety of Cobble Hill. The booths are cozy and the space isn’t obnoxiously loud like other restaurants. The service here was a little cold but punctual and our food arrived quickly. We ordered the huevos rancheros, pancakes, and deviled eggs. The huevos rancheros was some of the best I’ve had. I’d skip the pancakes. They were good but there are so many other delicious items to choose from. The deviled eggs were a great app. Each one has a different seasoning so be sure to get your favorite one before someone else snags it. The cocktails here are not to be missed. We ordered a couple and each one was fantastic. The menu is a bit pricey, but the quality of the product makes it worth it. I’m curious to see what the atmosphere is like at night — maybe I will sometime!

Travelled down from midtown for Saturday brunch on a recommendation from a friend and it just wasn’t worth it. They kept us waiting a really long time before food — we were a party of eight but it took 3 hours from arriving to leaving and we only had one course. I had the lamb burger which was just totally disappointing. Small and poorly seasoned and in slightly stale bread. The chicken and waffles and baked eggs looked great though so maybe I picked badly. The cocktails were very good to be fair, but all in all I was pretty underwhelmed and didn’t think it was worth the trip.
