I’ve been to this club more than three occasions every time I go I always have fun. The people are friendly and they like to dance. They play a wide variety of music, reggae, pop, rap, etc. Never experienced any problems. The drinks are strong and sometimes they do deals. A lil small, but most Ny clubs are.

Had a good time here last night. Friday night is a LGBT night, with a great mix of hip-hop, reggae and docs. it’s not cramped and there’s plenty of room to dance. people are friendly, and focused on having a good time. It was our first time and will definitely be coming BACK!

They won’t give you tap water because the boss says it cuts into profits. Even though we just spent $ 30 to get in and another $ 60 in alcoholic drinks. Makes total sense!

I was physically assaulted by a bouncer at this venue. I’m a 115lbs girl who was grabbed by the neck, dragged, and literally thrown three feet out the door of the venue by a 6’4″ 300+lbs huge guy because he thought I had drugs– which was just an e-cig. It was crazy. He wouldn’t even let me get my coat and it was freezing out and i was in a mini skirt. When I refused to leave the front of the venue without my coat– he shoved me with two hands. Not only was it completely inappropriate, unnecessary(he didn’t ever even ask me to leave), but it’s also illegal for bouncers to even touch you unless it’s in self-defense or defense of someone else no matter what; you could be doing coke off the bar and all they are legally allowed to do is ask you to leave or call the cops. That said, I would avoid this venue at all costs– any places that tolerates violence against patrons(esp. petite women)(esp. unprovoked) is beyond messed up. I’ve bartended around NYC and Detroit for 10 years and have never seen or heard of anything like this. Totally unacceptable.

Brooklyn has a burgeoning nightlife and entertainment scene. Some really great bars, lounges, and restaurants are remaking the image and reputation for the borough. Where Manhattan has set the stage for premier entertainment, Brooklyn and the outer boroughs are competing on par with some of the great venues in the city. Club Langston is leading this new era nightlife scene for Brooklyn. Housed in an industrial building reminiscent of any nightclub venue in Alphabet City or Chelsea, parties range from the very hot and new CARIBBEANLGBT night to Exotic Dancers. This club prides itself on variety and boasts a night to satisfy the current trends in music and lifestyles.

Great for a night out on the town. Great music, the drinks are affordable and the décor is always different and fresh. The club is open Thursdays(Exotic Dancers and Club Mix Night), Friday Nights(Caribbean Night) and Saturdays nights are the big nights with sometimes only standing room to dance — that’s the only issue I have. Sundays are OK too so I hear, its really for the older folks and Pool payers — I am yet to attend lol.
