Such a disappointment! Ordered take out: two cheeseburgers, chicken tenders and Cobb salad. The burgers were cooked beyond well done it was dead(wanted medium rare). Chicken tenders were pounded so thin and burned so much it was inedible. How can you serve that to anyone??? Cobb salad was almost ok except the bacon tasted weird — it looked crispy but was soft and had a fruity after taste. WTH??? How do you mess up bacon??? They also changed their«spiced shoestring fries» to regular bland crinkle cut fries. They were fine but tasted old. We used to order from here all the time and it was mostly consistent. Then we moved away and now we’re back and wanted to get reacquainted with Cobble Grill. Bad idea. And sad too because the prices are good — too bad the food is not on par. Oh well lesson learned and now my menu book is a little lighter!

I live two blocks away and I love this place! Been ordering from here for the past 8 years since I moved in this neighborhood, really friendly people. I tried all the burgers and sandwiches my favorite is the dom burger. Sometimes the delivery is a wait, but it’s worth it!

Had the Dom Burger. A burger with Swiss Cheese, Mushrooms and A1 sauce. Decent if unspectacular burger. Nice bun. Thin, kinda greasy but crunchy fries. Burger came with lettuce, tomato, red onion and a pickle and thats always welcome but like another Unilocaler said no ketchup in the bag. Thats kinda strange for a burger joint. Luckily I had some Jakes BBQ sauce in the office fridge. To get to the minimum delivery I got a homemade lemonade and it was pretty tasty. Sweet and tart and a reminder that thankfully summer is almost here.

Not sure how they stay in business. Just your run of the mill sandwiches, nothing exciting here. I only go here out of desperation. The service is slow, fries soggy and sandwiches generally uncreative. It’s a tiny whole in the wall and there isn’t much else on this corner, except the Met grocery store. Come to think of it, just go to the deli at the Met and have them make you a a sandwich-better yet, you will probably be able to make a better one yourself.

Never again. Food is fine but it never arrives hot and takes forever. Waited 45 minutes this time and we live 2 blocks away. All of it cold. Done.

The current Unilocal rating of 3 stars is dead on for this place. It smells so good when you go in there, but the food never quite matches up. Their salads are okay, but could be amazing if they just increased the salad quality. Big salads are hard to find in our hood, and they should take advantage of this; however, instead they give you volume but low quality iceberg lettuce. The caesar chicken salad is 99% iceberg lettuce, which anyone should know should not be anywhere in a caesar salad. Romaine is not that expensive and should be the only thing ins a caeser salad. Steak sandawich is pretty tasty and comes with big salad. As is the chicken sandwich. If they increase salad quality I will be here several days a week.

If you’re looking for the some great lunch, New York’s hottest nightclub is WEEEELITTLEBABY, aka Cobble Grill. They have a daily(including weekends) lunch special that comes with fries AND choice of drink. WHAT A BARGAIN!!! I had the chicken sando special, and the aioli mayo is pretty money. Then again, I’m a sucker for aioli mayo.

One star. It was that bad. Gristly burger and frozen onion rings. All for almost $ 20. Would not be surprised to see a bunch of Sysco in the kitchen.

I always end up ordering from here when it’s raining outside and I don’t feel like going out. They have very good sandwiches. I am yet to be disappointed. So far I have had the burger, the flank steak sandwich and the buffalo chicken sandwich. The onion rings are great here as well. For some reason I always end up ordering the lemonade which sometimes is really good and kind of sweet and last night was sour!

Great burgers, with some interesting topping choices. The way they grill the buns is fantastic. Oh, and you can order Boylan’s with your meal, too. We were regulars at this place when we lived in Brooklyn. I never had any problems with delivery and they always got our orders correct — despite a slight language barrier at times. There’s a table and chairs — but the workers are usually sitting at it, so don’t plan for a sit-down meal.

Ugh, no. Don’t do it. I was craving a turkey burger, so ordered from here for the first time. Took an hour(fine). Everything was cold(not fine). Burger was limp and dry and gross(not fine). Fries chewy, not crispy(not fine). Now I know why there’s a two-dollar discount on Seamlessweb. GROSS. AVOID! AVOID!

Portions are way too small for what they charge, and they always slightly mess up the order(ex: regular mayo instead of garlic mayo). Food is great, but way overpriced and not enough.

Tried out seamless for the first time the other night and decided to order from Cobble Grill. 1 burger, 1 steak sandwich and a meager tip(sorry delivery guy, it was my first seamless experience and I forgot that there is NO way they are handing over any of that $ 3 fee) = OK dinner. According the boy, the burger was pretty good. Cooked medium rare as requested and well seasoned. The ‘salad’ that came with both meals was just OK. I had a few really old pieces of lettuce in mine that gave it that slightly sour taste, but by picking around those pieces I was mostly able to enjoy the green stuff. My steak sandwich was also cooked as requested, but that wasn’t quite enough to save it from pure mediocrity. The meat was too darn chewy to get through, and I ended up pulling it all out, cutting it into shreds and stuffing it back into the sandwich to eat. I also could not find any evidence of the caramelized onions – the entire thing was way to covered in a mayonnaise based horseradish sauce for the poor onions to survive. I didn’t hate it, but it wasn’t special by any means! I guess we would order again… but we’d skip the salads, and both order the burgers!

Good delivery experience this evening. I ordered two of the Cobble Hill burgers, one mine and one for her, and they were cooked correctly to order, and packaged separately from the fries, so everything traveled well(fries were still crisp when they arrived). Burgers are served on a pretty good bun with fresh toppings on the side, including a pickle spear. Fries are just about as good as the fries we were served at Prime Meats a month ago, and these fries didn’t cost $ 6. All together– $ 20 including the tip for the delivery guy. Finally found a decent delivery burger in Cobble Hill!

Never, ever order from here. It’s 10:53pm as I write this. I placed an order at Cobble Grill at 8:09pm. I’ve still not had dinner. First off, it took an hour and a half on a weeknight for our order to get here. When it did, the dishes that we ordered weren’t right — no fries, wrong dressing for salad, wrong toppings on burgers, missing a drink. On top of that, the food was ice cold and my turkey burger was hard as a rock. When I called back, the guy who hardly understands english, promises me he’s going to send a new order«in five minutes». It’s now almost an hour after that and the guy just called to ask what my address was again and couldn’t understand what I was saying. I suspect he hasn’t even sent the delivery guy yet. $ 30 for a meal that I haven’t had. Fantastic. HORRIBLE. Stay away.

Had another burger from here the other night but this time with a salad instead of fries. The salad was VERY fresh and tasty. The burger once again was pretty solid but I asked for medium and it was closer to well done. Either way, it was well worth the 10 bucks.

Seems to be the most consistently«A-OK» delivery in Cobble Hill/Carroll Gardens. I like the Bklyn Burger(because it has an onion ring on it) as a veggie burger. I’d give it 4 stars, but my husband says the burger meat is gross. I prefer veggie anyway! I like the fries too… crispy! Once I was feeling healthy and ordered a salad(it was spinach with nuts and cheese) and it was excellent. I was very surprised! Only a place for delivery or take-out. They are fast too.

Just had the BBQ burger — mediocre at best. Total let down for $ 9. I could have cooked myself something far better at lower cost and using less energy in what it now takes to write them the crappy review they deserve. I wish Chickory was back in business.

This is my favorite-est delivery place in the neighborhood. I love the burgers here. Don’t even consider getting a salad or something else, the burgers are amazing.(Although the other sandwiches and salads are pretty good too.) The people who work there are generally pretty solid — they cook everything just right, I’ve never had a screwed up order in 3 years, and the delivery is relatively timely. I would prefer getting their food delivered and having a beer at home over several of the restaurants in the nabe. For Reals.

There’s not really anywhere to sit down, it’s strictly take out or delivery but they are consistent with their food and have amazing fries, salads, and probably my favorite sandwich in the hood… a buffalo chicken sandwich with bleu cheese dressing. The owner/chef is friendly and always answers the phone. The delivery service isn’t lighting fast but they deliver what their supposed to(no forgetting stuff like some places do).
