New to the area, glad to have found this spot. One of the best coffee shops. Roomy enough to usually find a place to sit and work, fairly reasonable prices, reliable wifi, good music, great atmosphere, good coffee(some of the best cold brew — I don’t think they dilute theirs like many coffee shops, though I could be wrong), and EXCELLENTSERVICE — friendliest staff point.blank.period.

I always get the glazed donut and Mexican Hot Chocolate. The only thing I don’t like is the fact that they run out of donuts frequently. This is a nice place to go sit for awhile.

A welcome addition to the neighborhood. Great cold brew, delicious donuts, and an assortment of other pastries and goodies. The baristas are all very sweet! I stop by almost every day on my way to the train.

I don’t mind going out of the way in search of good coffee… My search has ended! Covert is my go to spot for really good strong coffee. The Staff and atmosphere is very welcoming as well. You won’t be disappointed! Oh! And you actually get a LARGECUP of coffee!

Nice chill spot to study and have some coffee. The coffee was good too but I didn’t try any pastries to be fair, I’m not big on sweets. I just needed a good spot to plug in with some strong coffee so it did the job. Closed a bit early though for me(7p) which was the only issue I had with it.

Awesome place, even better group of people. The owner is the sweetest guy. The drinks are delicious and the baked good are even better.

I had the chai latte to go. It was delicious and fresh. I enjoyed the décor and the peaceful atmosphere. Nice place to enjoy coffee, chocolate or tea

This coffee shop is really cute. It’s spacious and I enjoy the atmosphere but I do not enjoy the coffee. I haven’t tried any other drinks but both the hot coffee and cold brew are not good. I had higher hopes. I haven’t had any donuts here, but I go to Dough in Flatiron and they are incredible, and that’s where their donuts here come from so that’s a definite plus. I tried a croissant and it was slightly over cooked but still okay. Overall, come for the donuts and environment — not the coffee.

A great little coffee shop in a location that could use a few more. The space is plentiful and staff delightful. The selection of food is quite limited but well prepared. The mexican hot chocolate and waffle in particular tasted great. As mentioned before, there is a lot of space with seating and tables. A great place to chat with friends or get some studying done. My go to café!

I think that this is a great addition to the neighborhood. I’m excited that there is now a legit coffee shop near my apartment. The staff were really friendly and they have almond & soy milk. I got a soy cappuccino which a little on the bitter side but it was pretty good. I also like that they have stevia in the raw packets. Overall, it’s a cute coffee shop with a lot of seating. It’s a nice environment to get some work done or to just sit and chill. I will definitely be returning.

Came here twice while I was in town, the first day I got a carmel latte(the best out of the 4 lattes I had at different places around the city) and it was so good. I also got a waffle and it was very good. The 2nd visit I got the mexican latte, and wasn’t a fan, BUT I’ve never had a mexican late and didnt know what to expect. I don’t like cinnamon and there was a lot of it. But I’m guessing if you do like cinnamon and actually know what you’re ordering you’ll love it. Definitely worth a visit, the coffee is VERY good!

Popped into this sweet little café and had a spinach turnover and matcha latte. All the pastries look delicious, including my faaavorite Dough doughnuts. The spinach turnover was salty and delicious. The iced matcha latte was sweet and shaken, but I felt it had too much ice. The place is spacious, relaxed and inviting.

The ambiance of this place is nice as is the layout-very spacious. It’s laid back, clean, and slightly soulful. There wasn’t a lot of light in the place as it was kind of dim, but toward the windows and sofa chairs at the front of the café, it’s a bit more bright. The staff provided excellent customer service. There are a plethora of coffees, lattes, and teas to choose from. There are a couple of pastries too. Nice spot, in a convenient location off the J train.

Mexican Latte! That’s all that really needs to be said, but I’ll go a little further in detail for the sake of Unilocal. If you work remotely often and need a space to replace the drabness of the office home, add this place to your list of cute, cozy coffee shops to get sh*t done. Here are 5 quick reasons to visit: 1. Street parking was a breeze– after 1pm ASP is no longer in effect. 2. The vibe is perfect– very welcoming, friendly staff, tons of work space(and did I mention fast, reliable Wifi and outlets!) 3. Price points– simple menu(my fave!) with a price range of $ 2 – 5. Nice selection of pastries, Dough donuts are clearly a must have these days. 4. Coffee sourced from Brooklyn– gotta support your small and local business! 5. Nik’s Pick: Mexican Latte, of course! So nice had to say it twice.

Really awesome Mexican latte! This is definitely a place where you could go for some work, and it’s a few stops from the train station. So define try a good location for it. Besides the really fast internet, they have the most comfortable couch. Welcome to the neighborhood:)

Really quick internet, super spacious tables and chairs, and DELICIOUS chai lattes. Why is it delicious? It actually tastes like tea and isn’t overtly sweet like most places that use a mix. AND they accept credit. I keep bumping into these cafes in Brooklyn that are cash only. What more can a girl ask for? Nothing else. This is a great place to do work in. A million times cozier, and homier than Starbucks. But there are a couple of tips that would make doing work at Covert a lot better. These tips include: — Wear warm clothes if you intend on being here for awhile. I don’t think it’s insulated very well. — They do have plenty of outlets to charge your laptop with. The problem is make sure your charger has two prongs and not 3 like mine. There is only one outlet that has that available. I am very happy a café like this exists in Bushwick.

Love seeing the diversity in Brooklyn. This little coffee shop has its very own ambience that differ from your everyday Starbucks and has an excellent maple latte w/almond milk.
