It’s a great local shop for quick grabs in the morning like bagels, sandwiches, and coffee. Since they open early, it’s convenient for early commuters like me. I especially enjoy being able to pick up lunch on my way to work on days I forget to pack it myself.

Great option for a lunch on the go. I tried the ratatouille and they heated it up for me right there. Only $ 5.00 for a large bowl of ratatouille. Totally recommend for an on the go lunch!

Charming store front and awning but that’s about it. Dark, dingy interior with no room to sit. The drink options are sparse despite the large fridge and the deli case is awkward. You’re left wanting more — not your typical epic deli case with endless food. Got the lox sandwich and it was very underwhelming. This place is a tourist trap with a cute storefront. Don’t be fooled.

Pretty generic coffee and pastries type place. Nothing extraordinary.

Any place that offer good coffee, and it is not Starbucks or Dunkin’s Donuts, already start for me with 3 stars. Brooklyn need more places that makes good coffee, and Cranberry’s is one of them. But I think that some of the dishes are little overpriced. But I am not here to decide for people how to price their products, or for customers to decide how much to spend. But what I can tell you is that the food worth it. 5 for the coffee. 4 for the food. 4 for the service. 3 for the prices.

We really enjoy going to this local place. I’m in love with their croissants, especially the chocolate croissant, which I think are some of the best in town and not overpriced like other bakeries. Coffee is good as well. Food and service have always been consistent, we have no complaints and will continue to come back

My husband’s Italian Stallion was delicious but my Rooster(grilled chicken) was dry and flavorless. Really needed some pesto or mayo or something. Service wasn’t great; the cashier just kind of disappeared after we ordered, no words of confirmation spoken. Good location and good prices, however: right next to the Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Too hyped on Unilocal! Now, I trust Unilocal a lot and am constantly on it, but I was fairly disappointed of the rave reviews of this coffee shop. Like the two stars state, I’ve experienced better. I was a little thrown off, as this joint is more of a grab-and-go place rather than an actual bakery/coffeeshop. There’s not a whole lot of choices of desserts and drinks. And, the items themselves seemed a little overpriced for the actual value and size. I got the chai tea iced latte after a full 10 minutes of debating what drink and/or snack to get. It seemed like the safest decision that I wouldn’t mind spending a few dollars on. The chai was a little too sweet and tasted a lot like chai syrup rather than a latte. Even having nonfat milk make the chai really strong. I usually don’t mind strong chai(I love Starbuck’s strong chai), but this one was a little too overbearing. The sandwiches were the only food items that seemed decent, but they just didn’t look too fresh. I was fairly disappointed by the place and sort of wished I had just gone to a local Starbucks. One thing, I really loved the staff and atmosphere. Locals seemed to be regulars here, and the locations is adorable-near a small park right outside. But, really, save yourself a visit and try some other places! 37⁄100

An ok cup of coffee served here. The pastries are ok. They don’t seem fresh. I always get my coffee with cream and sugar. They do open pretty early. If you need something quick then I would go here. If you have a little more time I’d go to Clarks and order to go.

I want to like this place, I do, but both times I’ve eaten here I’ve had terrible stomach pain afterwards. I’ve now realized their B rating and attribute it to this… however everything I’ve tried is tasty! And cheap! Maybe once they clean up their standards a bit more I’ll return.

I’m giving this place 2 stars because the pastries I’ve had have been disgusting. I eat a few bites and into the trash it goes. They have such an amazing selection of baked goods that look so appealing but it tastes like Crisco is used in their scones and cookies. Yucko bucko. I won’t be stopping in on my way into work anymore.

I have been coming here since it opened, decades ago. The service is always good. The food is delish & fresh. Their chicken pot pies — wow! I am happy this little Heights haven has stood the test of time & enjoys the good rep it deserves

Note this review is only for the coffee and occasional muffin or cheese Danish: Don’t be scared by the«B» rating. Because If you are looking for a great cup of COFFEE that’s consistently good. This is the place! I wouldn’t get a sandwich they sit, longingly pressed against a plexiglass prison. Albeit, Un-refrigerated they look tasty enough(most likely the reason for the Big«B»). I just haven’t had the guts(pun intended) to risk the outcome of «summertime mayonnaise blues. Stick with the coffee and you won’t care if they had a «D». Or it was served from a open cauldron of coffee goodness. If you like Cheese Danishes I would high recommend theirs. I am a little unsure of the source but they are good.

Love everything about this place. They only take cash but that keeps the old time feel for me

Cranberry’s falls somewhere between 3 and 4 stars… I find myself going here more out of convenience than craving their food and coffee. The prices are better than other neighborhood shops, the coffee is okay, and the servers are very nice. They also do coffee punch cards. Breakfast pastries are hit or miss, but you get what you pay for. Be aware that there’s no indoor seating, just a bench outside. They are also cash only.

OK, I need to update this review to reflect my love of Cranberry’s. THEIRBLACKANDWHITECOOKIESARECHOCOLATEONTHEBOTTOM. Say what?!? So soft and delicious – the icing isn’t super hard either. Seriously worth trying – a great spin to the traditional cookie. So good, I just can’t. Do yourself a favor and get one, even for later. Also had another blueberry scone today, and it’s even better than the cranberry one, if that’s possible.

The sandwiches a little bland and pricey. I ordered my favorite, bacon, egg, and cheddar on a croissant. The croissant was dry, the eggs plain, and the bacon was flat, precooked, and missing some smoke flavor. It was edible. So next time I went, I asked them to add butter, salt and pepper to the sandwich. I could see flecks of pepper on the eggs but didn’t taste any salt. Where’s the salt? Is there a salt embargo? Even the cheese tasted like it had no salt. How can you make cheddar cheese without salt? I think they even used unsalted butter. It really had potential, but no amount of doctoring can make one of these as good as a deli sandwich. If you have to eat here, BYO salt shaker.

This is very close to my apartment. The coffee is actually delicious. Sometimes iced coffee can be harsh, bitter, astringent, but theirs is great(go here instead of Vineapple). The flavors are good too, I love the hazelnut iced coffee. The bacon egg and cheese is ok… overpriced and not enough bacon. The people who work here are friendly and I like that it’s open early in the morning. Overall I like this place. Best neighborhood coffee shop around here.

I got the pecan scone because I didn’t want a heavy breakfast. I am not a huge fan of scones because I’ve never had a decent one. This scone was pretty delicious, however. It was studded with pecans and had a crispy exterior with soft insides. It was a huge size too. I could only finish half. My friends got a egg bacon sandwich and other pastries. They all said it was delicious. The mom and pop atmosphere is great too.

When I lived in the area, I would swing by here every weekend. The scones are main the attraction! The shop is just a few blocks from the promenade. Since there is no seating, it’s worth grabbing a coffee & scone and strolling around the neighborhood. Unless this has changed recently, it’s cash-only.
