This place is great, delicious treats and chai tea. It is a bit pricey but I love the simple ambiance and friendly staff. It is the perfect place to meet a friend for coffee and also to get a very high quality and tasty dessert, they’ve got quite a selection. Highly recommend it.

Every time I walk into Tazza I’m greeted with smiles and then on top of it I get amazing coffee and great snacks. It’s great to live across the street from a great coffee shop!

Great staff here, unfortunately while that’s a great plus, i don’t go out for breakfast to hang out with the staff. A plus is they have a few gluten free options, but limited. For example, waffles and pancakes only come«vanilla scented», not any of the other yummy flavor options. And if you are a pancake or waffle fan like me, it’s incredibly surprising that a place like this would not have real maple syrup. The best way to ruin a potentially tasty meal is top it with the fake stuff. It was just ok. Prices were ok, food was tasty. Steer clear of the pancakes/waffles and you may leave happy.

I really hate that Tazza isn’t better. I would love to grab an espresso or cappuccino each morning on my way to work but I’ve tried, and they’ve failed. Even for the neighborhood, they are overpriced given the quality of their product. The extra star was granted only for the good selection of sweets they offer. I find their coffee to be on par with diner quality. What really keeps me from coming back is the service. I have been standing there without any acknowledgement on more than one occasion and it takes disproportionately long for my order every single time.

Quick cup with fresh pastries and a trio of macarons for the sweet tooth are reason enough. Not a destination place but if in the area, reliable. Love the Parmesan Ricotta Croissant!

A cute little place to grab a cup of joe in a nice, quiet environment. There’s no outdoor sign so it took me a while to find it, but it seems like a great place! The employees are super friendly and helpful, there’s plenty of seating, and they’ve got a huge selection. Unfortunately they don’t have wifi, but hey, they’d probably be packed if they did! Will definitely be swinging by again.

I hate this place. Go to the bodega across the street or Vineapple a block away instead. The baristas here are half wits. They have 3 – 4 people working(slowly) behind the counter at any given time. One time I came in with wet hair after a shower and the woman behind the counter, who faces an entire wall of windows to the outdoors, asked me if it was raining out. It had been sunny all day. Thanks for the comment on my appearance though. Last week I was walking a guest to the train station across the street and made the mistake of trying this place out again. I ordered a black coffee, an iced tea, and a scone, which came to $ 9.25. I handed the woman behind the counter $ 10 and she took the money and proceeded to help the next customer. Didn’t even OFFER me my change. There were 4 people behind the counter and it took me 10 minutes to get a black coffee, iced tea, and a scone that I could have reached over and grabbed myself. Did I mention I hate this place? They downsized a year or two ago from a larger footprint. I really hope they downsize into extinction. Not an asset to the community.

This is great to come for tea, coffee, cookies, cupcakes, and panini sandwiches. This place has a very relaxed atmosphere, with a friendly staff. I love there chai tea & favored ice coffees. The red velvet cupcakes have great favor and very moist. The prices are good. About $ 4.00 for the coffee and teas, the cupcakes are around the same price. Very clean, and this location is a little smaller then the other Tazza location I went too.

Picked up two skinny mochas for walking around Brooklyn Heights after church. Lovely. Nondescript ambiance but friendly staff. Most people in here seemed to be ordering paninis & boxes of chocolate turtles(in the shape of turtles) were for sale on the counter. Next time.

If you order food here, be ready to wait ATLEAST10 minutes for it to get to you from the kitchen. Other than that, this place is the best. Super friendly workers, DELICIOUS food, and the coffee is pretty good too! ****Try the coconut cake!****

Average coffee, pretentious vibe, awful food. The servers are always rude, and it seems like you’re bothering them by just walking in the place. I’ve been here a few times for(kind of overpriced) coffee, and decided today that I should give the food a try. Apparently that was a poor decision, as I’ve been vomiting all day from a panini I had from here. It was soggy and disgusting and I don’t even know why I attempted to eat it. What a literal waste of $ 11. Will definitely not be returning after this terrible experience.

Not any more special than your average coffee place. No sockets for phones /computers and the washroom was out of order. Not covering the bare essentials(and that’s not the hipster-pleaser post-industrial décor) translates to a poor rating in this case: one star.

The place has a myriad of options; pancakes, french toast, paninis, quiche, soup, and all sorts of pastries. I tried the broccoli cheddar quiche and my friend had the baked brioche French. The food here isn’t the greatest. I did also pay over 15 dollars for a quiche and a latte.

Today saturday june 13 — 2015 i walked in the afternoon to get a coffee, and to my surprise i encountered the biggest rudest a-hole female attendant i have ever experienced in the nyc metro area. If you are the owner or the manager at this place you need to get rid of her! I will not spend my money in here when there are so many other places i can go, and i will not recommend for others to go there. I was with two others who were just appauled at this womans behavior. Completely unprofessional and zero customer service.

This is a great addition to the neighborhood. I’ve always wanted to come here and got the opportunity today when my uncle came down from Westchester for Open House New York. The café is warm and cozy for a rainy Saturday morning. I really enjoyed the cappuccino and also the fluffy pancakes. I’ll definitely be back.

I try to go here every Saturday morning for breakfast, and everything I’ve had has been awesome. Granted, I haven’t gotten around to trying any of the huge assortment of sweets and baked goods, as a breakfast sandwich and a large coffee usually make for a filling meal(for about $ 8, which I guess is alright by New York City standards). It’s a great place to people-watch(I even saw Keri Russell order a coffee one time) and the staff are generally pleasant. Keep in mind that mothers and their small children regularly stop by, so if you’re looking for some peace and quiet I’d suggest looking elsewhere. Oh, and there’s no Wi-Fi. I try to keep my meals somewhat healthy when I can, and Tazza’s menu is surprisingly forgiving: the turkey, havarti, and egg-white sandwich on whole wheat works well for those days I’m up for a workout, while the bacon, egg, and cheddar on croissant makes for a really nice, hearty alternative. The muesli is also pretty good. And if I’m feeling a little hedonistic, there are plenty of cakes, cookies, and pastries to choose from.
