Came here for a late brunch durin the wkday. Its not the typical brunch plate like eggs benedict and such but its diner(good) food. Its a busy café since its near the hospital servin all diff shift hrs medical professionals. I had their omelettes the two times i’ve been here and they were yummy. Service was great as soon as u walk in the door they smile and greet u. I didnt even hafto ask for water and she gave us and said«just incase.» Place is clean and we watched the guys pack takeout and delivery orders so quickly. Good food and good service. Cant ask for more.

Fucking thieves they don’t even deserve one star, they charged me $ 3 for a cup of milk. I will never go there again and I will make sure to tell everyone I know about it.

Today was my second visit to D&D and I loved it! I got a burger and fries and they were so good. The service is great and they care about making sure you get what you want. They way they treat their regulars makes me want to be a regular, ya know? This place offers dine-in, carry out, delivery, and will even run your food out to you in your car if you can’t find parking.

Came in over the weekend with my family and I so was excited to check out this spot, because of the reviews on good food and service. The food definitely met comfort-yummy food standards, and the place was pumping BUT service was, well… uncomfortable. Let me start with the positive! My family cleared their plates without prejudice. My waffle topped with fresh fruit was to die for! Who doesn’t want dessert for breakfast?! I wish I could have given more stars but our service was just attitude filled and awkward. My husbands order was wrong and we kindly tried to explain, the blame was kind-of put on us and the way we ordered(?); Nevertheless, after it was corrected, the food was brought back and dropped– not nicely placed in front of him(rude). At the end of our meal, we both felt the disposition changed from Hyde to Jekyell by cooing over our baby– Clearly, it was obvious attempt for a better tip after all that. It would have been a kind gesture if she wasn’t pressing her boobs together after finishing our meal(tacky). I willing to give this place another shot because the food was really good and fresh but will also consider picking up instead.

Great little early morning breakfast spot. The food is yummy and service is quick. The menu as lots of options and the price is reasonable. You get a lot of food for your money. I can eat breakfast all day so when ever I get the chance I always try and stop by.

Change of mind after coming again. Ordered the buffalo wings and they were amazingly crispy, moist, and spicy. Burger I got was okay.

Best hot chocolate ever! You must come to try it! They also do flavors like Oreo and Nutella. The cheesecake is also very good. The food it’s typical diner food, nothing spectacular(other than the aforementioned hot chocolate & cheesecake!). The waitresses are pretty awesome– friendly and attentive. They are usually busy but not over packed.

Great and friendly sincere service… challah French toast is pretty tasty. The western omelet was full of ham, onion, and cheesy just the way I like it… cute little neighbors spot!

Great cheap breakfast. The staff is really nice and everyone seems to be on a first name basis with the customers. It’s great to see a neighborhood green like this still hang around. The service is fast and friendly. The food is typical breakfast cuisine with great values.

I had a western omlette and chose mozzarella cheese be my regular American. I’ve discovered I rather have American. Tried sweet potato fries vs my usual home fries. They were good. I wouldn’t order them together anymore, my personal taste buds prefer them alone. My dad had french toast, he said it was delicious. I had a taste, I have to try it next time. The service was great. Our waitress was very nice and funny. I had her the last time too.

WOW! I grew up in this diner when it was Billy’s Famous Donuts. He had sold to his employee, Freddy. I guess Freddie sold to these folks. Such great memories here. Cute little spot that is technically Borough Park, but always treated as Sunset. Havent eaten here in a while, but definitely need to make a comeback!

A great neighborhood diner! By all means, do not go out of your way to come here, but if you’re in the area, this is a solid choice for a quick meal. The outside of the restaurant and the décor inside could use a lot of work, but the staff is overall friendly and attentive and the food is good. The coffee is a bit watery, but there are free refills on hot and cold coffees! We shared a fried chicken platter and it was good — juicy on the inside and crisp on the outside. I also had the burger and it was huge. They don’t skimp on the toppings either. And the fries were perfectly crisp. They have a huge menu with all your standard diner food choices, and some creative specials as well. If you’re craving good ol’ American diner fare, this is a perfect choice!

Had lunch here with my old friend last Friday. The atmosphere was perfect for us to chat and catch up. My coffee was constantly being refilled so I can just enjoy my company. I ordered a turkey avacado panini. The turkey was a little dry but the sauce made up for it. I do love the sweet potato fries though. The food wasn’t anything to die for but was overall okay. The prices were reasonable.

D&D Coffee Shop is friggin awesome. Great Food well executed. Friendly service. Super fast service between when you order something to when it gets to your table. You see the managers running around whipping people into shape. That’s what I want to see from my Diner. This place has everything I want when looking for breakfast and do not have time to waste. I have a soft spot for simple foods done right at affordable prices. The outside of the restaurant is unassuming you’d almost pass it for a hardware store. Inside the space is very large with lots of booths and a lunch counter. Though I didn’t try it this time they have specialty lattes to order which I thought was kind of cool. The diners there were all regulars and you can tell they’ve eaten there for years, which is always reassuring. We ordered the special blueberry and strawberry pancakes with whipped cream and a three egg white wrap with feta cheese and red peppers. The pancake was nicely done, soft, not overly sweet and there was a hearty portion. The egg white wrap was the art of finesse executed in a tiny package, the feta perfectly complements the eggs and there is a meaty chewiness that makes you not miss the meat, the wrap was served with a side of homefries which was done well but I wasn’t crazy about, next time I would ask for a substitute. We’re definitely going to be back.

I came here for an early breakfast one day, decided on seven grain French toast. It was simple and good(topped with sugar), went great with the coffee! The service was pretty good too, looks like a family owned place? It looks like any other old school diner and seems like there’s a good mix of people who eat here, always a win in my book! I think it’s good for breakfast or brunch if you’re in the area. The food isn’t anything amazing, but it’s good food and prices are decent. This place can be easily missed, but then again it’s the only diner along those couple of blocks. I wouldn’t mind coming back if I’m in the area and looking for a place to eat.
