Dekalb Convenience

Okay, let’s see. .. How convenient is Dekalb Convenience? Well, they are not near my home on the other side of Brooklyn. But they are right across the street from the bar (The Alibi), I frequent, so that is very convenient. They do possess a variety of snacks that I can take into aforementioned bar across the street, so that is also pretty cool.
They also are a NYS Lottery location, which allows me to engage in my legal gambling pursuits, betting a dollar on a dream before heading across the street to drown my poor sorrows in aforementioned bar across the street.
They possess a nice variety of domestic and foreign brews so if someone who lived in the neighborhood wished to get something, that is a great option.
While I do not smoke, nor engage in the purchase of pornography, they are available as well, so for those folks who like to smoke and view pornography (though I would not do both at the same time — how would you hold your cigarette? — and a possible fire hazard), it is pretty convenient for those folks as well.
The store is right at the B38 Bus stop, so one could purchase a MetroCard to get on the bus, or step inside to get out of the rain a few minutes while waiting for the bus. All in all, I would have to say the the pros definitely outweigh the cons and that Dekalb Convenience is a pretty convenient place!
