Devi Yoga Studio

I’m so grateful to have found Devi Yoga Studio. I’ve been taking classes at Devi since January, and recently completed the Beginner’s Yoga Workshop with Bridget and Jeanette– which I can’t recommend enough if they offer it again. The workshop went over proper form and breathing for many poses that will surely help me going forward. I had been aimlessly and, honestly, unenthusiastically practicing yoga for a few years before trying out Devi, but this studio has given me a new outlook and love for yoga.
All of the instructors I’ve had so far are informative, encouraging, and provide a lot of attention to each student in making adjustments and correcting alignment. I’m always amazed by the calibre of instruction and their passion for yoga and teaching. The classes are usually small and a really welcoming and positive environment. The studio is also really beautiful and peaceful. Definitely a gem in Williamsburg.

I’ve tried all of the yoga studios in close proximity to Devi and found this studio offers the Resorative and Vinyasa yoga that I need most.
I’ve tried a Restorative class with Judi and Vinyasa Flow with Bridget.
While completely different, they both fufilled exactly what I needed. Each class was beautifully guided with supportive and just the right instruction.
Even through I’ve been practicing yoga for the past 18 years, I don’t practice with the nearly the frequency that I should.
I found that the music, flow and direction the teachers give is just what I need to really get the most out of each class. The vinyasa was challenging but helped create space and the restorative yoga class was gently guided and allowed for enough time in each pose to feel the peace of mind and body and serenity you’d hope for from this type of yoga practice.
The more intimate class size allows for hands on support, really postive energy and a beautiful and satisfying yoga session.
Also, the room temperature, music and smell of the studio is really inviting.

I signed up for the 4-​part Beginner’s Workshop in May and have been incredibly impressed. Both Jeanette and Bridget are amazing instructors and having them for each workshop meant a lot of hands-​on time which is perfect for getting started. Small classes, great location and friendly instructors, all make this place perfect. Will be going back.

A peaceful retreat in the heart of Williamsburg, Devi studio has a very special uplifting energy. The minute I step in, I feel more focused and willing to practice.
I attended classes with Bridget and Jeanette who both have a great personal style that caters to the individual. At Devi, I always feel the privilege of having a private class! I also really enjoy their playlists, modern, positive and supporting the flow.
Go to Devi if you want to find the perfect balance between a great work out, cool music, a stylish space, and personalised classes.

This intimate studio has some stellar teachers. Each teacher has their own specific routine, but all are invested in your practice, helping you to perfect your pose and reach your potential. If you’re a beginner or just a bit rusty you can expect to find a challenging but supportive environment here to get you to your best yoga experience. So glad this studio opened up in Williamsburg. Much better than the big classes where the teacher barely even looks at you.

Great new studio! I took a restorative class with Judi. The class was perfect — leaving me calm and refreshed for the rest of my day! Judi’s energy was comforting and relaxed. Perfect for restorative! The studio itself is in a great location and BEAUTIFUL — clean & with great touches — flowers, candles, etc. ZEN! I even approached the owner about renting the space out for a private event! Devi offers lots of variety in classes as well — definitely going back and highly recommended!!!

I stumbled upon Devi Yoga Studio one morning and took a class impromptu with Judi. It was everything I could have ever hoped for in a yoga studio. I love the fact that they cater to the early riser, something I have been searching for in Williamsburg. I love the simplicity of the space, with its clean lines and abundant sunlight filling the intimate space. I’m coming back to my practice after a long hiatus, and in this mixed level Vinyasa class, Judi made certain I was comfortable and challenged at the same time. If you want to practice yoga as yoga was intended, organic to your own personal journey, then Devi is the place for you.
