Your standard Dunkin’ Donuts. Coffee, breakfast, lunch, Coolata’s and now smoothies. I have worked in Brighton Beach and some of the customers can be a bit of a challenge but the staff here does a nice job staying patient!

Well the coffee and the donuts are the same as in every other fine examples of this omnipresent franchise. This place is at a SUPERBUSY location. I frequented it very early, around 5:30 in the morning, so I never had to deal with crowds. That’s probably why I always got quick friendly service, and I can only honestly rate it 5 stars. I was a regular, the counter person knew my order well, smiles were exchanged, good time was had by all))) I can totally understand random customers having an experience different from mine at 5PM after ten billion daily visitors came through. But my rating is an honest 5 stars.

Stopped in one day because I was craving a cookie dough iced coffee. Really didn’t feel like waiting in line so attempted to use the window and the woman was like oh just come in… So we went inside and the line was to the back of the store. Didn’t realize that there were two lines one for baskin Robbins and the other for Dunkin. So when that was finally figured out, the line started moving. The place seems a little on the disorganized side and I had to repeat my very simple order three times. Usually you give order, pay, then walk to the next window to get order but the guy insisted on having us wait as it would only take a second to get our order. It was awkward standing there waiting to pay. Finally got the order and paid. The place was very busy likely due to the location and proximity to the beach. It’s nestled in right next to the walgreens. Some of the tables had trash on them, when we walked in and it was still there when we left. Not an overall clean feeling.

The staff here was incredibly rude. I placed an order for two kid cones. They rung me up for a more expensive scoop cone. When my fiancé explained that they charged me incorrectly they then realized that I meant soft serve cones. The manager(or someone more superior to the cashier) pointed accusingly at me and said«it was my fault that I ordered wrong and it was my mistake.» What horrible customer service. The ease at how quickly blame was placed tells me that this is a common occurrence here. How hard would it have been to not blame the customer and diffuse the problem? This experience has totally turned me off from this Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins franchise.

This Dunkin Donuts location is pretty darn lame. A couple of issues with this place. Let me begin. First, the location is too narrow and lacks space. So with that being said, one would think with this«lack of space issue» the service would be speedy. It NEVER has been and I have come here numerous times. I am always waiting at least 5 to 10 minutes just to reach the cash register, never mind placing the order yet. The donuts are usually stale and of course I have tried them on different days to make my judgment fairly. Just another location to add to the list of the worst Dunkin Donuts locations in New York.

Good luck with getting your order correct even if there are not that many people in line. Sorry, but some of the women here either don’t really speak English or couldn’t give a s*** if they got your order right. Unfortunately the ones that do make an effort kind of have accents that are difficult to understand. Customers are not that great either-funny thing is since Brighton is an immigrant neighborhood, everyone thinks everyone else has an accent, but not them. If the line is reeeally long-chances are you’ll be entertained by one of the Indian/Middle Eastern employees arguing with an Eastern European or ghetto wanna-be teenager/20 something(by ghetto I mean acting like ghetto-usually white, not black).

I used to have many-a-good-times here with my friend Matt! Back when we were in high school and thought we were cool, we used to walk over here on warm summer nights and pick up some sugar with iced coffee. Oh, the memories of crystalized sugar and slight taste of coffee bring back such memories that cannot be duplicated. Especially now that I use Sweet N Low instead of sugar.
