Yummiest pizza when it comes to regular and vegetable slices. Their broccoli and mushroom pizza is perhaps my favorite, but their regular pie is a delicious treat as well. I love coming here in the summer and getting a slice with some snapple peach!

For a not that famous pizza spot this spot has been consistent for quite sometime now. Their Pizza has a bit of a Spanish twist to it. More like the style pizza sauce you get on the Islands or when you are on a cruise but don’t let this fool you. The pizza in resorts and on cruise ships has always been delicious to me. They had a fire a few years back due to the shop next door and damages from Sandy set them back but they made their place bigger and expanded their menu. Def check this place out if you need a quick bite and are in the area.

Absolutely the best regular slice in all of New York, I never even tried anything else and have been coming here all my life. I’m lying I tried a mushroom slice but it was typical pizzeria stuff but the regular slice is something I order all the time and at least 2 slices cuz it’s that damn good. Everything you want in your pizza, crunchy crust, delicious tomato sauce, amazing creamy cheese. I just love their pizza over everyone else’s pizza that’s it. GETIT

Excellent CHICKEN roll for all my chicken roll lovers. I make it my business to try a chicken roll almost every new pizzeria I choose. I happened to try it when I picked up my son and he was eating one… I tried it and was instantly hooked. I figured I would try my own one day to ensure that I misevaluated the chicken roll because I was super hungry. The time came and I tried my own… and my assessment was spot-on!!! Excellent chicken rolls here! I tried the slice and that was pretty good too. The location is pretty big and spacey… great for decent size groups to come in and eat in this larger that usual pizzeria.

I LOVE this place. Before and after Sandy, they kept there same delicious recipes and friendly staff. Right now I“m eating the BEST eggplant parm hero EVER. I’m a bit of a pain, because I ask them to scoop out the bread, toast it well done with extra sauce, but they do it, and I am grateful because it’s soooo friggin good!!! Great caesar salad dressing too! Advice to everyone out there. FYI to the other posters here. There’s NY pizza, and there’s Brooklyn pizza. Day and night difference :)

Just back open over a year after Sandy. Looks great now with more seating too but food is still nothing special. Either they use less sauce or less flavorful sauce than others do but either way the pizza is pretty bland. I like that they bake it on some kind of screen which makes for a nice crisp crust(only when they cook it long enough, though). $ 5 for 2 slices + can of soda is a good deal these days. They do make a very good cheese calzone, but don’t always heat it up sufficiently. I think this place has always gotten by more on its propitious location(2 subway lines, 2 bus lines, a school) than its food. Still, for convenience alone I’m glad to have it around again.

I purchased a «royal special». Price — average. I paid $ 23 for the whole pie. I was hoping for a super thin crust, but it wasn’t the same as the other NYC pizza I’ve tried. It was still a good pizza regardless. We had pretty good service — they took care of us immediately.

If you get home from work late there is nothing better than walking down from the subway and grabbing a $ 5 special(two regular slices and a can of soda). That is, however, the best value you can get out of Rocco’s. I’ve given the mozzarella, basil, and sliced tomato slices a chance but I’m just not satisfied– it’s not the NYC pizza that I’ve hear so much about. If you get slices be sure that they warm them enough in the oven; mine was too cold and I’m not really picky when it comes to sliced pizza so that’s saying something.
