I eat here all the time, but mostly because this place is right on the corner more than anything. I am very picky when it comes to my Spanish food because being of latin decent I have had some great Spanish food from family, friends, and of course myself. This place isn’t anything spectacular but they are very good. I always order baked chicken breast with white rice and beans and it costs $ 5 and it’s a great sized portion, big enough to leave me stuffed but small enough I don’t have to save it for later. Those baked chickens are sooo good, I love the crisp skin on the outside. I am waiting for more reviews before plunking down my hard earned cashed on other items. I am dying to try their pasteles and pernil but I can never get great pernil in a restaurant.(I want it to be better than mine, and it usually isn’t) It’s definitely worth checking out and I am surprised they don’t have more reviews to be honest. Still looking for a great taco place, but this place is pretty on point with the entrees. Get the flan! I don’t like flan but my hubby orders it and even I found it delicious. My go to place when I can’t think of any other options for takeout, they also deliver but I never did that since they are 50 feet away. The girls serving your food sometimes they misunderstand what I’m asking for, but they are always friendly and nice and don’t cop an attitude if they mess up, they just fix it like a truly great place should. So that alone deserves 5 stars from me!

Compared to the rest of places in Sunset Park, you stole my heart and left money in my wallet. When the waitress placed that beautiful chicharone on top of the very moist pernil. And the platano maduro was super sweet and very tender, almost a firm pudding texture. Damn, you do it just right. Enough said.

What can I say the place is spacious, the food so delicious. The rotisserie chicken was more than finger licking good. Overall the prices are descent, the portions are astronomical, the taste is nirvana and the staff is divine. Love this place, I must admit is one of the better Latin restaurants in Sunset Park. Must go to this place and grab a bite!

I walked with my mom to this location, after another restaurant I usually went to was too crowded. The portions were hearty, and the food was quite decent, you definitely get your money’s worth if you get combos. I got Combo #2, for $ 22.95 — it was 1 whole chicken, 3 pork chops, large rice platter, medium beans, salad and 1 litter of soda. We had leftovers, so we took it home. There was a tv in the back, and an ATM. The place was bustling, and it was nearly the heart of Sunset Park. This place was jammed pack with Spanish speakers, and there was a slight funny scene with the cook, coming over to kick out a drunk. and this was in Spanish. But my mom was kinda mortified. Still there’s seating for eating in the restaurant, but they do have delivary here, and I would probably order from here, next time. If you’re eating here though, definitely go in a group, and the noise level can get pretty loud, but with ethnic food, this place is definitely Dominican Republican style food.
