I called to ask if I could come in for an eye exam and the response was «yes, would you like to come in today?». I told the person over the phone, yes, but may I first ask you if you accept my insurance plan”. Upon stating my insurance I was told «Yes, we accept this insurance but the doctor is not in today».
If you have a problem with one’s insurance plan don’t lie about it.

The staff here is very courteous and my experience was very pleasant. They answered all of my questions and needs and made sure that I was satisfied with what I was looking for. They will help you adjust to the way you like it and make sure that you’re all taken care of properly, a great place to go if you need to get a new pair of sunglasses!

Came here for seven years now and I am very surprised a and amazed by the drastic improvement of their service quality! I do not have a bridge in my nose so back then I would constantly visit here to have them readjust the nosepieces because they would always leave my nose area red and irritated. By their eyes, breathing, and tone in voice, I could easily tell they were absolutely annoyed with me as if I purposely wanted to give them work to do. I didn’t want it to happen either!
Now, however, the workers there actually sound concerned with my treatment. They offered a lot of alternatives of which I was not aware that I even had this many options. This one worker always smiled warmly at me and was not annoyed at all my questions regarding contact wearers. The other worker who taught me how to put on contacts was not annoyed either. Our «short» lesson actually took around 40 minutes! I would be annoyed to stand in my heels, hunching over while guiding a clueless person like me.
There’s also a snack bar at the newly renovated Eye Solutions. It is absolutely free and serves as a great way to alleviate our temper if there is a long wait or if we show up without an appointment.
This was absolutely a great experience — the feeling of being treated as an adult and not a teen.

I decided to start coming here since my boyfriend comes here regularly to order his contacts and do any eye exams.
It’s a convenient place since it’s near the train station, and if you’re living in Brooklyn, this is the place to go for eye exams/​glasses/​contacts.
The eye doctors are super friendly, speaking both English and Chinese. They educate you on your eyes and it’s been an enjoyable experience with them. The staff working outside are just as great. They’re always helpful, respectful, and kind with answering your questions. They take you through what you have to do in order to take care of your eyes. Since I was ordering new contacts, they taught me how to take care of them with a different eye solution product, making sure I understood well.
They go further to make sure I have the right degrees for my contacts, and that they’re comfortable enough for me instead of settling for what is alright and sending me off. I really am happy with their customer service and how helpful they are. Definitely my new place to order contacts and schedule any eye appointments.

I’ve decided to dedicate my first Unilocal review to this place after my recent experience buying new glasses.
This store is the only place to get your glasses contacts or eye exam (55 $)! My family and I been coming here forever and I didn’t realize how good this place was until I tried some other places. Prices were lower here, styles were in season and on trend and there are always a huge range of brands — from insurance-​claimable generics to luxury such as Chanel and Dior.
But honestly, the one outstanding factor of this store is that service cannot be beat. Best team out there. They’re friendly. One of the associates came over to me while I was trying on some frames because «I looked lonely». They’re knowledgeable. One of the associates explained the science and history behind the new round shape glasses. Last but not least, they’re so helpful! They ask the questions they need to in order to figure out which glasses you would like. And then they would go and pick out some frames for you to try on!
This past month, I’ve gone to them four or five times for various things and each time, they made sure I was as happy as happy can be! Thank you!

I’m actually pretty sad I moved away from this neighborhood because I love this place.
Been going there for years for my contacts, glasses, eye exams, and just asking questions. The staff is courteous, fluent in English, Chinese-​Mandarin, and Chinese-​Cantonese. Even during the times that I walk in and every staff is busy with a customer, they notice me and make an effort to at least greet me and see what i need help with.
Also, walked in the other day with a pair of sunglasses I got from Sunglasses Hut that were NOT adjusted corrected by the salesgirl and the guy fixed it for me no problem no cost.

Came here for almost six years for contact lens and glasses. Friendly services and reasonable price. Everyone speaks fluent chinese and english.

I feel welcome every time i come in this store. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable.

I have been going to this place for years. Everytime I conduct business with them, they are more than courteous and informative. i did not experience a language barrier at all — although i am asian myself i always see non asians purchasing glasses or coming in for appointments. the optometrist who gives the eye exam, william ling doesnt even have an accent and is very helpful and professional. the sales staff never gave me anything less than honest opinion and lowest prices when i selected my glasses. they always presented me with all my options and made sure i was comfortable with my selection. everyone here is always very professional and helpful and genuinely has your best interest at heart. ive even ordered contacts/​glasses from this location and had them deliver it to their manhattan location because it was more convenient for me and they never once hesitated to do so or asked me why. they have a huge selection of glasses — designer and not. i cant imagine coming anywhere else. p. s. the location in chinatown is unnecessarily overcrowded and you’re not able to try on the glasses without asking for them first. i would avoid this location at all costs!

I came in for a contact lens fitting and the lady working there explained the whole process to me and was very informative and friendly. Within a couple of minutes, I was able to see an optometrist and everything was good to go.
There was definitely no language barrier there; everyone spoke fluent English and Chinese.
