Came here last weekend with some friends on a Friday night. The décor was adorable. We ordered several appetizers and some main courses. My friends loved their calamari and oysters. Everything we had was delicious. The kitchen was very accommodating to my friend, who has a good related allergy. And out waitress was very sweet and attentive. Will definitely be coming back!

The croque madame I had for brunch here is one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything was great, nice laid back atmosphere. I definitely want to return one night for the live music and to try the poutine.

A friend and I came here for some Saturday brunch #thingswhitepeopledo We had the sweetest waitress and really enjoyed all of the slow Yonce jams while we were eating. Lovely and cozy interior, exposed brick and French flags everywhere. Beware, cash only! We ordered the truffle fries, Mac and Cheese carbonara and oatmeal. Everything was delicious! Even the water they provide tasted good… Give it a shot!

had a great time at Fada, laid back environment, great food, great drinks and good music from a New Orleans style Jazz band.

Wonderful service and the best branzini I’ve ever had, amazing. And then I got the desert on the house. Always a bonus. Will keep returning to this little gem, they’ve been around for a while though but they just had a change in service and I’d say it’s a lot better now. And also, live music most Friday and Saturday. Wonderful gypsy jazz when I was there.

Great restaurant! I loved the vibe of this restaurant, went on a Friday evening and they had an awesome live jazz show that was just loud enough to make this is a perfect evening without drowning out people’s conversations. The food was great, especially like the roasted lamb and the mussels. Service was perfect, and the french owner were super friendly and came to refill our wine glasses when we finished our bottle. All in all, exactly the kind of warm, cozy experience you would want!

I think this place is pretty deserving of the 3.5 star rating. The good: They have an excellent mussel selection. I got the thai curry mussels and the delicious curry coconut broth made my night. I also had some pretty generous wine pours. I also loved the ambiance of both the live music and«garden» patio as they call it. The meh: My husband ordered the steak medium rare. It came out basically raw inside. We sent it back to cook more and they did a pretty good job and my hubs was satisfied. I thought it was a little too tough. Whatever sauce they put on it was quite tasty though. The service: Our first server was probably new. It wasn’t busy and we wanted to just chill, have some wine and relax while we ordered but she came back, no joke, like 5 times in a 7 minute period. And hovered awkwardly. I found it humorous and assumed she was new so no harm no foul. Halfway through our server switched out and he was great and attentive. I’d go back if someone invited me, but it’s not my first choice.

I met a friend here for late night drinks. It’s a classy venue and not too crowded on a Friday night. The bartender(Russian guy — ironic, right?) was attentive, but what put this at the five star rating was the live music. The band playing the night I went was called the tin pan band. The bluesy jazz along with the décor makes you feel like you traveled back in time. I imagine this would be a great date spot.

The place is pretty, so 2 stars for that and so was the service and staff, but the food, not sure if was something they cooked or if it was catered because of the wedding, but it wasn’t good at all. They had this pâté, that was huge, it was pretty much half of a bread, sliced diagonally — I didn’t try it, since it just looked crazy. It should be at least cut into smaller sized bits. Fried Shrimp and Pig in a blanket — overcooked.

Really good food & beautiful patio. I had a chicken sandwich and my husband had a salad – both delicious. The homemade chips were great as well. I was hoping they’d have a selection of specialty sodas, but no such luck. I usually don’t find them most places. But yeah, all around Fada is a great restaurant.

The food is okay(wouldn’t recommend) but the atmosphere is lovely. There are trees growing in the outdoor garden which I loved. BUT the service was abysmal — especially when they told us it was CASHONLY for brunch only! How does that make any sense? We saw people paying with credit card at the bar for drinks and in the evening. Honestly, it was obnoxious and I would personally never go back.

May be the food and drinks are great! We would never know and hoping to never go back there again. We sat there for over 20 minutes and no sign of any staff. Oh btw, it was not busy at all. I doubt the staff and management knows that they are located somewhere in NYC, where services is usually taken very seriously. You really have to suck to have me write this kind of reviews. Does anyone know how i can leave a review and not even give 1 star??!

What a darling little bistro we stumbled upon in Williamsburg! My friend and I wanted a couple of cocktails and a nibble and had a great experience at Fada. We shared the truffle burrata salad which was a lovely medley of flavors. Served with baguette, there was a luscious scoop of burrata atop confit tomatoes, pesto, a balsamic reduction and topped with roasted pine nuts. Such a refreshing appetizer. The drinks were a bit disappointing. My French 75 was served with a maraschino cherry in it and was practically all champagne. Not really a French 75 I’ve ever been familiar with or would spring for in the future. That being said, a cocktail is still a cocktail at the end of the day and at the very least it gave me a swift buzz!

I came here to have brunch with my family, service is pretty bad, takes hours to get your food on the table, we waited for 50 min for our food! They should have more waiters They left us with the dirty plates on the table for 20 minutes The food is good, not great but ok!!! The steak tartar, the meat is chewy and doesn’t have much flavor but they bring you Dijon mustard so you can season it.

I really despise restaurant ‘bashing’, so I’ll be gentle here. I had an… unpleasant experience at Fada, and I’d like to think it was a fluke. Our waiter made several mistakes taking our order(to his defense, there may have been a language barrier), and after sending back a dish that was ordered as an entrée and instead came out as an app, the end result was a meal that sat under the heat lamp for 20 minutes until we were ready for the dish. Bust. I was hoping the mussels would save the meal, as their menu is quite extensive and impressive, but the seafood was overcooked and lackluster in flavor. I’ve heard the brunch is better here, so perhaps I’ll give it a second chance. Overall, not a great showing at this french bistro.

Exceptional ambience and food. A very special place. We were there tonight with some musician friends of the owners playing; accomplished chaps all around. The food is classic French bistro fair with the odd twist; like roasted beets on the burger with cheese and bacon. The crème brûlée is huge and quite delicious.

Yum!!! Came here on a Saturday night. There was a good band playing jazzy/bluesy music — fun but not too loud or anything. The beet salad was good and the calamari was lovely too. The squid was lightly breaded but not deep fried and the sauce it was cooked with was yummy. The New Orleans mussels were good with crawfish and calamari but I wish there were a little more of each for 24 bucks. The broth was heavenly. The waitstaff offered to bring bread so we could sop it up. The steak was perfectly medium rare and could be cut with a butter knife. The sauce on it was so good!

I was planning to go to Brooklyn Winery, but the restaurant was used for a private event. I was a tour guide for my boyfriend’s family, so I was at loss for a moment, but I found this cute French restaurant with a backyard on the kitty-corner of Brooklyn Winery. I was saved by this place. It was late Saturday afternoon. We found seats immediately in the backyard with clear roof. The backyard was hidden from the street by beautiful trees and vines. There was a tree with hanging branch in the middle of the backyard, and our table was right next to it. The tree was like wall and that made a semi private atmosphere and I liked that. I also liked the brick wall with vines, a huge plat pan on the wall and choice of chairs and tables. Our waiter was a black nice man. I ordered their original cocktail named something like«Calvapolitan.» It was a red colored cocktail with citrus flavor. I and my boyfriend’s sister liked it. When we finished the check and were about to leave, the waiter talked to us. Since we were a group of family, he told us how precious family is. He told us he was born in Africa and his family is now in Europe and how he loves his family. It was a heartwarming moment. We only ordered drink this time, but I want to go back there for eating next time.
