When I went to pay, I was told that there is a $ 3 surcharge for paying with credit(which is illegal in NY state), or I could use the ATM they have in house for a $ 1 charge. My total was $ 37 and I had $ 40 in cash on me. I only wanted to pay with credit in order to give the woman a better tip but that was not happening.

Go here all the time. I recently moved about 20 mins away and i still come to this nail salon for a mani, pedi & waxing. I lived in the area for about 3 years and this establishment has outlasted every business that has moved into that plaza(well except the liquor store). The service is great, friendly, immaculately clean and nice décor with flatscreen tv’s, message chairs, 2 private waxing rooms & free candy! I usually go here every two weeks for an eyebrow wax and I always ask for the same girl because some techs are better/more experienced that others.(Look at their name tags and remember it). They are quick, thorough and all great technicians. Iv’e never had to make an apt because I only get my natural nails done but you can if you like. The longest I’ve waited was about 10 mins… again weekday. If you get mani & pedi together it’s $ 20. $ 3 extra if you use a credit/debit card so make sure you have cash. Not sure how much they are separately. Color selection is eh… but I’ve brought my own polish from home before and they were fine with it. I’d like to stress that this place is VERY clean at the end of each day the girls automatically started vacuuming, sweeping, disinfecting and prepping while the last patrons are still there finishing up. They even clean BEHIND the chairs! Some ppl would get annoyed but it made me feel like wow this place is really clean! Saturdays & Sundays are a zoo so i usually go on a weekday. There is not much of a waiting area or parking space so be prepared to stand for a few minutes or park your car in the key food parking lot across the street or at the CVS behind it if you go on a busy day. PS-They wait for their tips… which they deserve! They give you change in $ 1 bills(hint hint).

I’m a big fan of this place. I’ve been here a few times for mani/pedi and the last time gel color. Shirley is amazing. She is a perfectionist and it shows. My nails aren’t the greatest, not the most evenly shaped. She added some gel to the corner of one of my nails to even it out which I had never experienced in a manicure before. I’m in awe of her ability to paint nails quickly and absolutely perfectly. Prices are very reasonable. I think the gel manicure was $ 20 and it lasted a solid two weeks. It probably would’ve lasted longer but I wanted a color change. I’m not sure what they change for gel color removal as I was forced to go somewhere else closer to my house recently. Make an appointment because this place is a zoo. Even early Friday afternoon, which is usually when I go, it’s packed.

This is my «go to» place when I am in need of an emergency mani/pedi for a special occasion! Being that this place is literally in front of a bus stop and across the street from Key Food, you really can’t make any excuses not to treat yourself after an afternoon of running around like a chicken without a head. This place is a mob scene on Saturday afternoons; it’s a crap shoot as to whether you’ll be a lucky walk-in or not. I would highly recommend you book an appointment to limit your wait as much as possible; no one likes waiting anyway. They do have a HUGE staff, and the turn over is very high pushing customers out with beautified nails and toes! I have never had a problem with any of them; everyone has permits having on the wall as soon as you walk in on your right. Although the polish selection could be a bit more expansive, they have like, a gazillion different nail designs! $ 3 for two nails if you’re feeling adventurous. Manicure will cost you about $ 7-$ 8, but you can be rest assured, that you won’t have to monitor every cuticle cut they make here! Relax! Make sure you ask for a card so on your 6th visit, you get $ 5 off any service — from nails, to waxing, to toes! Yay!
