Excellent and friendly service. The diner was clean and well kept. The burger and chips was decently sized and tasted pretty good too.

Today is National Burger Day so in celebration, I am writing a review to one of my favorite burger places, Five Guys Burgers. What makes Five Guys stand out from all the other burger joints in the city is the quality. They use fresh ground meat to prepare this American classic. These juicy hand-formed burgers are grilled & cooked to perfection & served on a fresh baked sesame seed bun. Plus, there are several toppings to choose from like grilled onions, bacon, grilled jalapeños, & more. FYI: Little Burger(Any Style) = One Patty & Burger(Any Style) = Two Patties Along with your delicious burger, order a side of fresh-cut fries, which are cooked in pure peanut oil. And while you wait, grab a bowl of peanuts. Don’t worry, they aren’t recycled bar nuts & they are in their shell so it’s safe to eat. The staff was great but I was a bit disappointed on the upkeep of the beverage & condiment station so I deducted a star.

I really like this place, but definitely check your order before you leave. My order has been wrong about 50% of the time, and strangely enough every time it’s wrong it’s been the same thing, despite the fact that it’s nothing like my actual order! Not sure what’s up with that. However, the employees are very nice and the fries are great!

Five Guys NY: Brooklyn: Metrotech 6:30pm Friday 12th August 2015 Four Stars This Five Guys had the cleanest floor that I have ever seen. Everyone was polite and threw away their peanut shells. They have one of those super soda machines where you can get any coco cola product including flavored Dasani water. They also flavored ice tea in brew containers but they come directly from a pump like the rest of the beverages. I had a small bacon cheeseburger with pickles, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. It took a while for them to grill it and assemble but it was well worth it.

I enjoy this place for a quick hamburger and I like how they have so many toppings. Definitely on the level of fast food but slightly better. The fries are pretty good As well. This is a great place if you are looking for a quick bite to eat.

Good burger. I love the fact you can have all the toppings you want. Also they give you a whole lot of fries. I usually get the cajun fries. Overall good experience. Does get a bit pricey for the size though.

Basic burger. Hits the spot when you need a quick fix. Always add bacon and BBQ sauce. I like how they have added a small fry to the menu. They need to get the milkshakes at this location. Also sometimes the place is not the cleanest.

I will never understand why or how this chain is so popular in the East Coast. Just glad there are better options to choose from. Katrina R. here says there’s «NOTHING wrong» about Five Guys. I can agree with that. Nothing wrong… They just serve your average fast-food style burgers: dry, flattened, overcooked meat discs haphazardly layered with lettuce and tomato. Throw some cheese on it, too, if ya want. Oh, and the store-bought sesame buns? Nothing wrong with those. I can make burgers like these at home AND make them how I like them AND not feel gross afterwards. Most overrated burger chain in the US. The fact this place is said under the same breath as In-N-Out to some is dumbfounding. I’m just relieved the West Coast isn’t exposed to the overrated tripe Five Guys creates. The workers here were nasty, mean college students who clearly just wanted to get off their shift. NEVER. AGAIN.

First time ever to Five Guys. 11:27am on 4÷9÷15, Cashier Saskia W. was very helpful and courteous during my visit. Burgers very good and fries also. Everything was up to par. Hoping there’s a Five Guys in Williamsburg. Thank you again to the staff at Five Guys.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon before rehearsal I didn’t have much time so I needed something fast!!! This was just the place. I ordered the smallest burger they offer and got some fries to share with my guy. Everything here is made to order so your not getting old burgers or fries that have been sitting under a lamp. We were starving so while we waited for our burgers we chomped down on the free peanuts… Yum they helped keep the hunger at bay. When our burgers we ready we got them and we were very happy. This location is pretty small but we got there early before all the seats were gone and nabbed a seat overlooking Montague St. Overall if you are looking for a quick, cheap alternative to your every day fast food this is the joint, great view, quick service and don’t forget the malt vinegar on the fries it makes such a delicious difference!

I’m just going to go out on a limb and say this is the best five guys in New York for food and service. I always get a burger all the way with fries. Consistently the burgers are juicy and tasty and the fries are delicious and crispy. I only wish they would do chili so I could have it over my fries. The employees are cheerful, helpful, and diligent. The service is quick.

Just came here for a quick bite to eat. I know no restaurant is perfect but must there be fries all over the floor where they’re cooking the food? It was such a turn off

When i was hungry I came here. bacon cheeseburger with every topping on it. Load that up with fries that don’t fit in that cup, your leaving stuffed. I could never finish my fries if i ate the burger first. Either got to eat them side by side or tackle the fries first before that juice burger. This was a time when you had classes with so little time in between and you just gotta eat and go. Definitely coming back when I’m around the area.

I ordered a bacon burger from this place and was underwhelmed. The patty was dry and overcooked and devoid of any seasoning. No salt, no pepper, no fat. I wasn’t expecting medium-rare, but they certainly got grill-happy with this one. The only choice of cheese was American, so I opted out. The bacon was also burnt to a crisp and contributed no flavor to the overall experience. The bun was plain toasted white bread with sesame seeds. The choice of toppings were nothing special– pickles, mayo, ketchup and iceberg lettuce. It’s basically the kind of burger you get at a school picnic, when you’re 6 years old and haven’t yet developed a taste for good food. Except this one costs $ 8. Skip it.

I’ve never had a bad experience at a five guys yet They seem to be springing up in nyc and I for one, welcome them. Try this tip; grab a thing of peanuts… Eat until there’s only one left. Finish that last peanut after finishing your burger. It will be the best peanut you’ve ever had.

I often heard good reviews about Five Guys. So my friend and I gave it a try. I ordered a bacon burger with grilled onions and tomatoes, with regular fries. I would’ve ordered a drink if the soda wasn’t stale(at that time). Luckily, the workers reminded us of that. I got LOTS of fries. The burger was meh. I think I should have settled for the cheese burger. There was like 2 small strips of bacon in there, and they weren’t even that good. I got raw onions instead of getting them grilled. My nose was on fire. I think going to Shake Shack would’ve been better… Fortunately, the workers there were very nice and social. One of them even complimented my dress haha

Nothing like a good greasy burger to hit the spot. Burgers are cooked to order and you can select a variety of toppings. Their cajun fries are great! We always take it to go, but you can sit and eat as well. Service is quick, but quirky. Another perk is you can order online or fax the order in before pick-up. Service has been made easy.
