Some of the staff a bit childish. I understand the idea of trying being friendly with the customers, but you better act more professional!
I can’t remember the doctor’s name, but she did a great job and helped me.
Decent prices.

The service was good. It didn’t take long to get called but I was there on a Friday around 1−2pm. The selection for insurance covered glasses is not much like other places I have been to but I did pick out nice looking ones for a fair enough price. The space is clean but small. They have this bucket thing where you can donate old lenses which I think is nice.

This optical place is run dishonestly. I tried using a Groupon deal for a $ 35 eye exam. They required an expensive lenses purchase to get the $ 35 deal. The Groupon said absoulutley nothing about needing to buy frames. Totally dishonest & my advice is to stay away from here.

This my second appointment where I have waited over an hour to be seen. The height of disrespect is scheduling an appointment for a patient, sending 10 appointment reminders, and making patient wait for over an hour.

The service and staff are excellent. Dr. Hossain is very personable, and Keisha was especially helpful to me. She explained all the benefits and services provided by my insurance. I would have never known that I got a free replacement pair had she not told me!
I called to see if there was much of a wait for a walk-​in and they told me to hurry on over. I did, and I was in and out in a jiffy.
I’m so happy to have an excellent local eye doctor with competent staff I can trust.

I was there for an eye test appointment. the wait was long and im impatient, so thats a turn off. I didnt see any frames that really turned me on. the saving grace was how adorably cute my optician who gave me the eye exam was. I think I love her. this is weird now.

Very pushy sales, not a large selection of insurance covered glasses. Tried to sell me $ 300 reading frames, and broke the ones I brought in to use instead of paying that outrageous price. There were almost NO mid priced options– I would have been comfortable paying some for non covered frames ($ 75 – 130) but not $ 300.
When I dropped off my old glasses I was told about 4 times that they «could not guarantee» the glasses.
Surprise… they broke them, and then wanted ME to pay to have them fixed.
As far as the actual appointment, I had to wait over an hour past my appointment time to see the ophthalmologist who spent approximately 6 minutes with me.
No thank you.

Let me start by saying Im really lazy and never write reviews.
But the customer service I recieved here was outstanding, truly above and beyond.
They took me as a walk-​in, helped me pick out 2 new frames, and helped me with obtaining a medical credit card to pay for the glasses interest free for 6 months. Oleg, Maria, and Shaheen are amazing.
Best of all, Dr. Hussein found a potential degenerative eye condition that has been missed by several previous optomotrists. She gave me a referrel to an advnaced eye specialist too.
I have been wearing glasses since I was 5 years old and I have NEVER had an experience at the eye doctor like at this place.
Even if i move farther away, I will go out of my way to come back here. Truly outstanding. I felt like family when i left

I had a coupon for prescription glasses, so that’s what I came here for. I don’t live in the area so it is a bit of a trip and I wasn’t sure what to expect. It turned out to be completely worth it because the service is great! I was half an hour late for my appointment, but I was accommodated for in a quick, orderly fashion, which is something I really appreciate. They are equally accommodating when it comes to appointment changes, and they use a text notification system to confirm your appointments and to let you know when to pick up your glasses/​contacts. Neat and efficient.
The doctor who did my eye exam was friendly and worked quickly. Sherry helped me pick out my frames. She was knowledgeable about the types of lenses and talked me through what I would need based on my daily activities and eyewear concerns. But I have to thank her the most for suggesting a pair of unique green Ray-​Bans that I would’ve overlooked. They look great and I am in love with them!

very helpful and pleasant staff great frame selection. I visited them about three days ago for my eyeglass after i lost them in the subway, they were able to contact my davis vision insurance and i will be receiving them this week.

My recent visit to Flatbush Optical was flawless. The store is easy to find and very clean. I showed up for my 11AM appointment and was promptly seen by a doctor for a contact lenses appointment. She was friendly and made my exam stress free. She was very attentive and listened to what I had to say did not just rush through the exam.
Once it came time to pick out my glasses and contact lenses the staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Man named Oleg, who is the manager of the store took his time to personally inform me about the differences in the options for lenses I had to choose. They were very transparent about the costs of my glasses and I felt like I was getting good value for my money.
Few days later, I received a text message saying my glasses and contacts were ready to be picked up, this was a very nice touch. Overall, Flatbush Optical is as good as an optical could be and the atmosphere there is great.

We’ve been visiting Flatbush Optical for over ten years; I think our parents have been going here for decades. Great staff, warm doctor, very friendly atmosphere, nice neighborhood and a great selection of designer frames. Great place!
