So honestly I’m a gamer who has needs. Who doesn’t?! This will be the first 3 star Review I’ve done since I started, let me tell you why. I’m not a big fan of GameStop in general, especially with the way they treat their employees and their business ethics towards gaming in general. This isn’t the reason I don’t like this store though, first let’s talk about the selection of games, yes! I’ll give them a great thumbs up for the amount of games they have typically smaller stores will have smaller selections of games, but these are pretty good. Now the staff is what bothers the hell out of me! Specifically the manager, when you insist on asking a question to them, they look down on you and get pretty irritatingly sarcastic, like if you were supposed to know the answer, some staff aren’t bad I like the girl there and the asian guy, pretty cool duo, if they are allowed to be there that day which if people don’t know about GameStop research please. Whichever day it is, or at least the times that I went, it seems the process of purchasing becomes more and more annoying, with them asking you if you want a PowerUp Card and lliterally trying to shove it down your throat, I get you need the commission my man, but let me breath! They batter you with offers or specials or promotions which I like to hear about them, but not continously as we finalize the purchase. I feel the experience gets more irritating as people come on in and the staff take longer to help the line move. The manager literally can stand there looking at an open register and he’ll just watch at the other staff having a hard time, getting the lines moving. Go here on a quiet day! Happy Gaming! I’m not proud to be reviewing at 3 stars. Sorry not sorry GameStop.

The lady with the glasses is pretty rude and gave me an attitude. I only asked two questions about games and console. Won’t be coming back here again. :/

Used to be my go to spot but workers there suck. Very rude and just over all terrible. This place used to have good workers in the beginning but I don’t know wtf happen. I recommend going to the one on 18ave 68st, workers there are very friendly and knowledgeable.

If you’ve been to one GameStop you’ve been to them all. They’re all rather similar. And disappointing.(Ehem. Disclaimer: Sweeping generalization.) This store had a good selection of pre-owned games. Prices are what they are among the chains, which in short is is too expensive for my blood. A friend and I decided we were gonna pick up Just Dance on the Wii. I’ve got two left feet and no sense of rhythm, so I’m not sure why I agreed. The associate was kind enough to find the cases for the two games I purchased. But she did keep me at the register detailing stories about her husband featuring in old YouTube videos. I felt rude stepping away despite having finished the transaction, so I stood there like the little pushover I am. On the plus side, no line while I was there.

Not a fan of this GameStop. The store itself looks scattered and disorganized. The staff isn’t the friendliest and knowledgable bunch. The GS location in 68th and 18th is much better.

Don’t like this one. Sometimes I get the rude cashiers who talk to me like I’m dumb or give me attitudes. Plus they took off money off a prepaid card -.- that’s not supposed to happen, never happened at any other gamestop before

I LIKE this GameStop. I agree with Gloria D that the staff is very knowledgeable. You can ask them any question on any particular game and they can answer you in a quick second. Also, the prices are remarkable. Maybe the only downside is that there is always long lines, like never-ending long lol. The store is rather small so only 2 cash registers are available. but yet people still have the patience to wait for their turn. Why? Because the prices are hard to beat of course! My boyfriend recently purchased«Sleeping Dog» for 40 bucks whereas Best Buy has it for $ 50. WOW, what a diff! With this economy, we gotta find the best deal out there. So yeah, the deals are GREAT here. Want a new game? Come to this GameStop for it!

Since I am a die-hard gamer, GameStop is one of my favorite stores. I can walk into any GameStop and get lost for over an hour and walk out having spent well over $ 150. It just kind of happens, like I am lost in a weird vortex of sorts, I fall into a haze and start drooling… This particular location is good. The staff is quite knowledgable(male AND female), friendly and very helpful. The stock is up to date, and they always seem to have exactly what I came for, which is awesome. I go here a lot.
