If I could give this place negative stars I would. They’re so LAZY never want to do ANY work. They’re such schemers also. My brothers phone broke and went in for his phone a few weeks early and the manager said she’d upgrade it if he bought a $ 40 case and screen protector. Her exact words «we don’t make any commission on phones just accessories so I help you out, you’re gonna have to help me out». I called Verizon 1800 number and they said she could have upgraded it early but she didn’t because she didn’t want to do the work and wasn’t getting commission. Absolutely disgusting. Then that same night we went to the Verizon on 5^th Ave and they helped him and upgraded right away without any problems. They should get fired. Maybe the more people complain they actually will. It’s terrible people in this neighborhood have to suffer w such lazy workers

After being disgusted with the Brighton Beach store, I got on the train and came to this store… Here is how it went.
It was a Saturday afternoon, 12:30 PM. I walked in. The store was pretty busy. A young black woman was leaning against the display of a bunch of phones… I asked her «do you work here» and she replied «I do, but I wish I didn’t» … I took her very seriously and then when she realized that she change her tune to «no not really, I love my job»… Oh what a start we were off to. The I asked her if they have an Apple 5S (which Verizon told me over the phone, I could get as an upgrade for .99 per month and to go look at the phone in one of the stores to be certain I liked it)… She continued to lean against the phone display and then told me NO we don’t have that. Then suddenly she turned around and said, Oh We Do, here it is. Her fat body was covering the display and I was amazed that she didn’t know the phone was on display and in the store, in fact right behind her. She could barely answer my questions, and for a store that was super busy, she was standing around doing nothing. She was a total waste. This is the 3^rd Verizon wireless store I walked out of in two days.
On the other side of the coin, I walked into AT&T and was greeted like a king. I found the same at Sprint. As for T mobile, I thought the young sales rep was way to aggressive, almost telling me ‘if you don’t decide now’ this deal will be gone by the end of the day. What bs!

I’ll amend my last review and give this location of Verizon Wireless an extra star. The employees used to seem more interested in how many accessories they could overcharge you for than they were in providing customer support. However, during my last two visits, they went the distance, and walked a bit further, to insure that my issues were resolved. If I go in again and once again get good service, I may even bump my grade up a notch higher.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I was so frustrated with this place that I decided I had to for everyone else’s sake. I was lied to by their sales staff, was given information that was manipulated and taken advantage of. First of all, when I walked in, the place wasn’t super busy with customers, there were only 2 people on the floor helping customers while 4 other people were sitting behind the counter playing with their own phones! I walked up the counter to ask for service and they pretty much said that I had to wait for the guy helping the other customer on the floor while she sat there and twiddled her thumbs. So since I wasn’t in a rush I decided fine I don’t want someone that didn’t want to do her job anyway to help me because they probably wouldn’t be very good at it. So after the gentleman was done helping the other customer he came over and helped me work through my phone upgrade. He was not very knowledgable and didn’t explain the plan options very well. After deciding which phone we wanted and he comes back to tell me that he needs to add another $ 30 fee to upgrade my phone. I ask him why because I was due for a free upgrade, why should I be paying and he tells me its the company’s new policy. I was in there for so long that I decided fine, I just want to get out of here, let’s just get on with this process. He comes back and tells me he’ll do me a favor; if I bought 2 phone accessories from the store (valued at more than $ 50) he would just ‘waive’ the upgrade fee. I bought it. Today I went to another Verizon Wireless store with a friend as she was upgrading her phone and they did NOT charge her an upgrade fee. That salesman basically LIED so that he could make another sale. He also neglected to show me all the options for insurance policies on the phone and I bought the more expensive one assuming that there was only one option. This place is unprofessional and gives the larger whole of Verizon a bad name. I have been using this company for the past 15 years and this was one of the most dissappointing experiences ever.

Had a very frustrating experience in the store and spent 2 hours getting an iPhone upgrade. There is an army of idle staff, complete incompetence and lack of pace in this store. We had to activate 2 iPhones because through one activation, staff discovered that purchasing an Apple Care+ account has to be done prior to activation. Changing the account holder name was an hour procedure of paperwork and mindless faxing. The end conversation with the manager resulted in a reluctant «sorry» and a passive «moving on with business» type attitude. Avoid this store when buying an iPhone; just head over to the Apple store and go through a much faster and better experience.

I just got a new phone from them and the staff was very knowledgeable which is a great change of pace. When I was asking the saleswoman questions about the phone i was interested in she started to answer me then reached into her bag and pulled out her own phone (turns out she had the same phone) to show me, She was really a good help.
My only criticism is that the overall process took too long. Other than that it was a really good experience.

My phone broke 3 days before I was due for an upgrade. I came to this location to see if I could upgrade early. The person working in store said I would have to call customer service to see if it could be done.
He dialed the number on the store phone and I spoke to a nice woman who said she unfortunately couldn’t do anything but because I was in a corporate store, they could call and try to have it done. I told the young man working in the store this and he looked at my blankly and said he had no idea how to do that. He made no attempt to ask anyone else for help or figure it out.
I decided to let it go because I would only be without a phone for 3 days and it was quite clear the guy had no interest in being any more help. If I have any more issues though, I will be going to a different location.
