They wasted what felt like half a lifetime to take my order, then told me they don’t take credit cards.

Basically the only bodega/deli I eat the food at in Greenpoint. This also tends to take place on slightly inebriated weekend-nights and I almost exclusively eat the falafel sandwich(white sauce — hot sauce). It’s pretty damn good for what it is.

This place is so dependable. I’ve been living in the neighborhood for about a year now and it’s always our go-to for fast and cheap, tasty eats. Falafel is the best I’ve had in this area, hands down, and delivery is always right on time.

For a deli in Brooklyn they really rock. They have tons of food they make and it’s all fresh as they have a large client base. I eat at this place twice a week and never got sick. A++, keep up the good job guys.

Cheesesteaks are the way to go in this longstanding Greenpoint deli fixture. At $ 5.50 they’re a steal. Round it out with a hot order of fries and a coke for a well rounded meal that will make your fitness instructor blush. On the switch side their sandwiches are made with love, care, and quality ingredients. The chicken over rice is perfect for a quick lunch or late night snack. All of the deli essentials needed are on hand as well.

This is literally one of the best convenience store in the entire city. They are super reliable and will deliver to your doorstep everything you need 24⁄7. In all honesty, also their food is real good. They have make deli food as well as bar-sandwich-type-of-thing. I found their food delicious and very cheap. I almost feel like I don’t want other people to discover this place It’s kind of a hidden gem but they totally deserve a 5 star review: they are too good. If you are in Greenpoint and find yourself craving a sandwich THIS is your PLACE any day of the week any hour of the day.

AKAUSA Deli per their sign and Google(it may have changed hands but looks the same) boasts an upscale selection and their solid cheesesteak won a Golden Grub award.

I am a big fan of the cheesesteak roll with jalapenos added and it’s only $ 5. They do a good job here. They definitely care about the food and their customers.

Wow, people love this place. I don’t know, I can’t shower God Bless Deli with unqualified praise, because of the way it makes me feel when I order and gorge on chicken tenders with fries after a period of alcohol induced inhibition release, which causes me to do questionable things like order chicken tenders with fries. How does it make me feel? It makes me feel gross. But it tastes good. The people who run God Bless Deli, AKAUSA Deli, at some point to be named God Bless America Deli, these people are pretty nice and courteous. They really do work a lot. The prices are reasonable too. I had the chicken on rice once and it was comparable to any top of the line halal cart. I /you should get that instead of chicken tenders and fries. Or both.

There are a few negative reviews for God Bless(I ain’t changing), which make me laugh. Sure, the bodega itself might be a typical bodega with bread and milk and whatever else little packaged crap you need. But that is not the point of this review. Rather than USA Deli, they should rename it «THERESPLENDENTLYGLORIOUSFALAFELEXPLOSION(ANDOTHERGREATSTUFFTOO) DELI». Because if you’re NOT getting the $ 3.50 falafel pita WITH hot sauce(praise Jesus), I don’t know if I can trust your life choices. PROTIP: Napkins. Lots of ‘em. And maybe some Tums.

The falafel is literally the most important thing We have in our lives right now and in the life of our company, . We order from these guys about 4 days per week and they have rarely disappointed. I feel it safe and utterly important to add that The American Deli née God Bless Deli is absolutely essential to our goal of being about the next generation of the collaborative economy. We need and love you, never stop delivering to Greedesk.

A great bodega to come for eats any hour of the day. I usually come in after work(around midnight to 1am), and the cook is amazing at multitasking and memorizing orders even when the place is slammed. They take the time to make sure every sandwich and wrap is of high quality. Very personable and friendly staff. My favorite by far is their chopped cheeseburger sandwich. Great proportion of cheese to meat, along with a healthy amount of peppers and onions. My mouth waters just thinking about it.

It’s been a blessing being across the street from this deli for the past year. Particularly because I look out the window and see«God Bless» every morning. Great positive energy! The food is a constant level of mediocre that is pretty admirable. Whatever time you come in(they don’t close!) you are guaranteed a decent meal. I usually go for the cheese steak with everything and throw in fries if I’m particularly hungry(ie really drunk.) At $ 6.25 the meal is insanely cheap by any standards. There are a lot of these type of delis around NYC but this one sits up there with the best. It’s a staple of Greenpoint.
