I had the worst felafel at Grill & Greens I have ever had in my entire life. I have eaten here in the past and it is usually much better. I will never eat anything from Grill & Greens again!

I’d give zero stars if possible. Our food was inedible: felafel balls had a hard crust and a cold/mushy interior, white rice served with the platters was clumpy and obviously had been sitting for quite some time, and the chicken was tough and stringy with a heavy black char that tasted of propane. Salads were likewise horrible. The«hummus» was a grainy slurry that lacked tahini and any kind of spicing, as if someone had tossed a can of chickpeas in a blender with water and decided that the resulting purée was satisfactory. The cabbage salad was a tangle of limp white cabbage, slimy slivers of cucumber, and brownish carrot coins, mixed with a foul mayo/vinegar concoction. Everything tasted old and sour. Perhaps this place makes good deli sandwiches and breakfasts, but STAYAWAY from the Middle Eastern food. I hate to write negative reviews, but this was truly the worst meal we’ve had in the neighborhood to date.

Grill & Greens is the hidden gem of Brooklyn. Bold, yes, possibly callous. I pulled up proper in front of the window and as I ate my breakfast I wondered, ‘Where’s the crowd? There should be a line out the door.‘ Four dollars will warrant you a two egg omellette with 3 toppings of your choosing as well as two pounds worth of made on order home fries or french fries. Cheap glass door drinks and homemade lemonades compliment breakfast, lunch and hangovers alike. The shaved meats, straight of the spit no less, are fresh and truly Middle Eastern fare. Staying around the corner, I find myself waking up in these bar stools watching Brooklyn scream from the streets outside. And I am happy, I am content.

Solid and very fairly priced. I recommend this place. They’ll put everything and the kitchen sink into your falafel if you ask them to. Not too many options on the beverage side. No space to dine in, but good on the go, or delivered. Great staff.

I’m a HUGE fan of this place. I have one of their falafel pittas weekly. Prices are great, the food is soooo good, and there are two things that set them apart: 1. They put the humus ALL over the inside of the pita. I hate when other places just leave a glop of it somewhere on the inside. 2. They have all these different vegetables and whatnot to add to it which changes daily. I love adding tabbouleh, pickles, and salad greens. MMMMmmmmm! Okay, now I’m going to have to have an early lunch …

This place is an awesome spot to get a quick & cheap bite. I will echo the previous reviewer and commend the falafel. Tremendous pita filled with nice moist falafels, lettuce, cucumber & tomato salad, pickled cabbage, & tahini sauce for $ 3. I could go for one of those bad boys right now! The gentleman who runs this shop also makes a fine egg sandwich and their house coffee is also very good. It has a nice hazelnut flavor to it but if you’re not a fan of flavored coffees, be warned on that one.
