Had a shotgun wedding there early July… planned it in one week. didn’t know what I wanted or how to do it… owner was a huge help. He decorated. Set up tables. Hired music and specialized a menu for us. The food was AMAZING! Party was a mix if soviets… Americans and Latin Americans and everyone was talking about the food! I hope their chef never leaves. plan to celebrate my anniversaries there! :) bravo Gurman!

I did my baby shower here for 63 people. The food was amazing and more then even expected, the waiters served us non-​stop, the food was delicious, and they accommodated all of my requests. The owner Misha was extremely easy to speak too and to make arrangements with. It’s a great place for a party. It’s a very comfy setting.

I’ve been to probably almost all the Russian restaurants in brooklyn. This one is such a pleasant surprise. The location Isn’t as glamourous as Passage or Baku but the service and food rivals both of those places. We had a birthday party and ordered off the menu instead of opting for the banquet menu and we were not dissapointed.
Everything aside from the crab cakes was delicious. I think we ordered five of everything off the menu and that was the only down side. The service was very good too. The waiters were attentive without being annoying. The music was a mix of everything from old school
Russian/​Ukrainian/​Armenian etc to newer stuff they play in night clubs. This place is also byob and byoc (bring your own caviar) a must if you’re Russian. One of My guests enjoyed herself so much he booked her little ones first birthday here too.
Do not let the location be a turn off, try it out and you will not be disappointed.
