BUYERS BEWARE. I bought a nice vintage fedora, took it home and tried it on again in the mirror. When I pulled down the brim, the stitching ripped, and the brim tore away from the crown of the hat. Oh well, I thought. Just take it back and exchange it for one of the others they had displayed.
NOPE! The owner himself told me that all sales were final, as is. I explained that I had never worn it, that it was clearly not worth the money I paid. I was not looking for a refund, only to exchange it for another hat. He said it could be stitched, that there were many tailors and dry cleaners nearby who would repair it.
Really?! I paid $ 20 for something I can’t use without sinking who knows how much more money into it. This is not a great way for a new business to build clientele!
