I.M. Pastry Studio

I enjoy their food, beverages, and décor but they’re not open on Sundays as they say they are and close earlier on other days which bothers me.
Great stuff can’t be had as advertised and there is the conundrum.

Skipped the $ 1 off $ 10 Unilocal check-​in special because the selection here was pretty underwhelming, AND the sweet woman working the counter was laughing at not knowing some flavors, all of which were unlabeled in the odd display.
Large Cupcakes (Signature — Single) $ 3.00 IM S’mores, where the batter was not even filled to the top of cupcake liner yet it was placed in an awesome vessel to store cucakes in. The Graham on bottom boasted great flavor and texture, but the graham on top was neither. Also wish they used better chocolate but I guess Hershey is classic. Marshmallow frosting was not toasted/​torched, no surprise but another letdown.
Stick with the stuff they ship in: There’s apparently BOGO Dough donuts aka 2 for $ 2.75 after 5pm (if there are any left) & Mikey Likes It ice cream that was either not available at the time or not at all promoted

So I’ve been to this place a lot and I must say the atmosphere is very nice. The staff is great. And it’s very very clean at all time… And in that neighborhood you can never get a good cup of coffee but thank god you can get it from there. Their sandwiches are very very good and their drinks are delightful. My favorite drink is the ting ting. The cup cakes are ok. Their always soft and moist but my favorite is the chocolate cup cake with baileys drizzle… One thing I must say is their food is pricey. I don’t mind supporting my black ppl so I don’t mind it. But just for a sandwich and a drink and a handful of salad on the side for $ 10 is kind of outrageous…

Great atmosphere inside, and good location. This place opened about four months ago and is an example of the change that Brooklyn is currently going through. Coffee brewed is that of the Brooklyn roasting company. There was no one in the location but might be because of the time of day.

I was craving a very good doughnut and dunkin was not what I had in mind. So Unilocal to the rescue… and behold this cute little spot showed within blocks of my home. So of course I set off to quench my fried sweet bread fetish. But when I got there they only had 3(three) doughnuts displayed and the looked like they been there waiting for a while (the sales person assured me the were fresh the day) so I gave the side eye… and said go for it. They had coconut, hibiscus, and what I go the dolce de leche. It was ok too much of the almond topping for me but the rest was tasty.
The location for me is everything because I can walk to it easily. The décor is very clean, modern/​pretty and quiet which is nice. I will be back to update my review, because sadly my first time in the store wasn’t that good. I hope next time they have more of a variety of pastries available:)

Any place that embraces Biggie wins in my book. There is a cool artwork photo of the King of Brooklyn on the counter. No, it doesn’t have anything to do with pastries but the was my cool moment in I.M.
This shop is very inviting and you are greeted with warm smiles. The mint mojito lemonade is a must try. It is a limeade flavor lightly sweetened but leaves a cool mint taste in your mouth. The ice coffee is delicious as well.
I.M. Is a cool addition to the neighborhood. Great place to chill and grab something light to eat or work from the studio except I don’t think they offer WIFI.

For a doughnut freak like me, I was so excited when they opened.

I go here at least 3 times a week during my morning commute. Their donuts are *amazing* and their iced coffee is hands down the best I’ve ever had. The women who work here are lovely and the shop is spotless!

Not much savory food, but great coffee and baked goods. Great AC and one of the only places to sit and work in the area.

I saw a FB post in response to the food and decided to come after my son’s karate class today. I M Pastry has a $ 10 lunch special daily (11 – 4) where you get a panini pressed sandwich, side salad, drink and the greatest treat a bite size cupcake. I chose to take my order to go and share with my mother whose house I was going to. To start the place is so cute, comfortable, airy and the staff was very pleasant. You actually smell the fresh cupcakes as you walk in instantly putting you into cupcake heaven! I ordered 2 lunch specials to share, one was the tuna melt the other turkey and cheese. For my drink I chose the mint lemonade which I have to say was refreshing, sweet and delish! For my cupcakes my son chose the strawberry shortcake and for me the banana pudding. I also ordered four more of the other flavors to try. The wait was not long and I couldn’t wait to try the food. The sandwich was heavenly and good size as I was able to share with my mom and niece. The side salad was good with walnuts and cranberries in it. My son instantly ate 2 cupcakes I tried the banana pudding and hands down I have to say I almost died. The banana pudding had pudding infused inside with a bite size wafer on top with banana cream frosting it took all my control not to eat the rest and give non to the family. I definitely recommend this cute convenient spot that is a great addition to the area. It seems they are open all days except Monday but I can see myself frequenting this place often, staff very friendly and accommodating.

Lovely staff, great coffee, awesome treats. And an incredible mural on the wall. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Great little spot with some phenomenal desserts and a great selection of coffees and teas. Also can’t ever go wrong with Dough…

Cutest Pastry shop in Brooklyn. I especially loved the mint tea & Red Velvet cup cake. The customer service was outstanding. I will be back!

Great new bakery! Cupcakes are delicious. Inside is clean and new. Free wifi. Staff is friendly and offered us free samples!
