I am really puzzled about the previous 5-​star review and how it differs from an ad for Icestone. I came to Unilocal looking for consumer feedback, not shilling. In fact, it sounds like someone who works for Icestone, which actually really annoys me and makes me less likely to use them in our kitchen, which we are planning this very moment. Doesn’t anyone see the problem with this? I would LOVE to give them a 5-​star rating! I will change mine if we decide to use them! But my rating right now is a protest against this kind of Unilocal-​washing.

IceStone is a green corporation at the bright, young, budding age of 7 years in which their goal is to eventually replace mined materials, such as granite or marble with their product. Their product is made of 100% recycled glass combined in a semi-​porous cement matrix, making this environmentally friendly. IceStone stabs can be used for outdoor/​indoor purposes such as counter tops, flooring, or as a bathroom vanity.
What makes this company unique and appealing, is their Gold Level Cradle to Cradle award; they are the only company in the world to achieve this for a durable surface.
Bottom line: Recycle those beer bottles and broken glass from your last B&E, my heavy drinkers and help make something beautiful.
