By far the BEST pizza. Period. Great taste, always super fresh, been getting pizza from here for years now, never seems to disappoint!

Old school Brooklyn pizza. Steps from the N train. If you don’t know where Bensonhurst is on the map of Brooklyn, good. Stay up north. Let us enjoy real Brooklyn. The pizza and the calzones. Get them.

The pizza here is always good and by that I mean each time I have come here there was never a bad day. Sometimes you go to pizzerias and they can have a bad day where the pizza doesn’t taste so good. They have a bunch of different slices from pepperoni to grandma to margarita. They have a few different specialty Slices here. I have only tried the regular slice and a square. I actually never tried anything else. They also have chicken rolls and spinach rolls and the usual pizzeria foods. I must try it when I come here but I usually end up getting the usually pizza. Another plus is they are open late u like most pizzerias close at 10 or 11 the latest.

Great pizza shop on 18th ave in bensonhurst. Ideal location as it’s nearby the N train subway station. You can quickly stop in for a quick bite. They even have a street window to order, get, and eat your slice. Ample selection of pizzas but the ones that are spot on are the grandma slice, Margherite, or even a plain slice. Great eggplant slice as well or white pizza with ample dollups of riccotta. Tasty crispy and soft pizza slice with great ingredients for toppings. Also great pies for take out. The margarite pie is thinner crust than their regular pizza but just as great. Also their signature jo jo is awesome. A chicken parm inside their pizza dough. A amped up calzone in my opinion. Definitely must order and large enough to share. Quick and affordable. Friendly neighborhood service and a mainstay in the neighborhood where you’re known by name. One of the best pizza shops in the area.

I had this spot bookmarked for a while and finally ordered delivery from here yesterday. The pepperoni pie is huge and we also got a beef patty but it was all just ok — the dough is super chewy.

J V pizza is my go too place for a very satisfying hot slice. Deliveries are fast and they always come hot and fresh. Round or square pies, calzones or garlic knots, you’ll be satisfied.

This location was featured on a Vice documentary about the«best» pizza in NYC. Obviously Brooklyn would be the place to go considering the large italian population. That being said, this isn’t supposed to be a 5 star dining experience. It’s a traditional, mom and pop style, casual pizza place. I tried a slice of the square sicilian as shot on camera. The cheese was on par and slices were(ridiculously) cheap coming from Manhattan. You can’t really complain and I would definitely recommend trying this place out if you’re not from the area. The only complaint I have is if you get a by the slice sicilian, your slice might not be 100% fresh. Come during a busy time and you’ll have a great experience. They have quality ingredients and you can really tell when you bite into the cheese.

Great Grandma slice, but saying it was the best would be a bit of a stretch of the dough. Go grab a slice today!

J & V Pizzeria has become one of my favorite pizzerias because my boyfriend & I found a certain pizza at J & V’s that really enjoy! The Margherita pizza is absolutely my favorite! We usually get it with mushroom and the pizza is just full of deliciouness! I’ve never had such a tasty Margherita pizza before. The pizza also doesn’t taste as salty anymore which I am glad. I love getting pizza here now!

First time having New York pizza, and I can’t say I’m disappointed at all. Crust was good, slices were huge, toppings were fresh. Everyone in our group agreed that the pizza was good(and no one else was a first time pizza goer like me). Decent prices. $ 37 for two large pies, one plain and one with half and half one topping on each side. Open late, which is absolutely great for us! Quick service.

Place was a very big disappointment. The cheese was just huge globs of a quaggulated salty mess. I was so excited to try this place since I saw a great pizza chef suggest them on Vice-munchies, but the food isn’t anything special. It’s just an ordinary by-the-slice spot. The sauce is what should make a pizza great, but here tasted like something out of a can. …and the atmosphere… this is Brooklyn the new capital for food in NYC. Food should be better than this, as well as the atmosphere of the restaurant.

The chicken Parm on garlic bread. That’s all I have to say. The best sandwich I’ve EVER had!

Been here before and their signature jojo is very good. I just had a regular slice and it was great. Atmosphere felt like and old fashioned pizzeria and staff was nice. Will come by here again. :)

*Please note I have given an extra star not for the pizza but the ambiance — place is a homage to an old Italian Neighborhood Pizza is good, crust is a bit thicker than most, most would be lucky to have a neighborhood joint like this but not a destination joint unless you want to see a classic Brooklyn Pizza Joint

Very good pizza, but not life altering. Love the physical location and the guys behind the counter are class! It was like walking into a time machine. I would like to try more of the menu.

Great pizza that’s conveniently next to the train station. I usually get the veggie or eggplant slice which is delicious.(I am not a vegetarian btw) These slices are thicker bread wise for the slices I got above but it’s very filling for one slice. I usually am conscience of how much carbs I intake but the bread part is yummy. I think it’s about 2.50 $ a slice which is very affordable. I want to try their grandma slices that everyone on Unilocal raves about.

Where have I been?! Fresh ingredients and fluffy pizza dough always! Best Grandma’s Pizza ever! Crispy crust, fresh mozzarella cheese on top, with a bit of tomato sauce here and there. They still throw the pizza in the oven like an old-fashion pizzeria. A very authentic method resulting in a very authentic taste! I love the Chicken Parmesan JoJo Sandwich here, too! Not only it looks visually appealing but tastes amazing! A fully stuffed sandwich with chicken cutlet and Parmesan cheese. Finishing up with sprinkles of green herbs on top. Stick it in their oven for more heat. One bite, you will never order Chicken-Parm Heros from anywhere else again! Owner and staff are very family-oriented with their customers. Not only always friendly and kind, they care that their customers are enjoying their food rather than making money.
