I went here with to meet up with my friends before going to a show on New Years Eve. We thought we were going to barhop but when we arrived here we were greeted by a fun bartender, great music and a relaxed atmosphere. We almost right away decided to stay put and grab drinks. The pinball machines were fun and we did play a little but what kept us there was the friendly bartender(I’m sorry I don’t remember your name) and the great selection of beers and fun cocktails.

Great experience overall. I was thrown off a little because they have a mirror in the back that made me think it was a much larger bar filled with endless pinball machines. I’ll definitely come back to play and drink.

Pretty cool bar. There aren’t many ppl guess Coz we went there early and its new year holiday days. The bartenders are cool. We found they have board games and wanted to play but u basically can’t fine a complete whole game. They are all messed with other games. We have fun with the pinball machines. It’s every cheap to play with 50 cents each round. It’s also an animal welcome bar. We saw two groups of people brought their puppies in. Ppl like them a lot.

Awesome bar. Pinball selection here is unrivaled. The happy hour and beer + shot deals are amazeballs. Will be back again.

Jackbar is my favorite bar in all of NYC. Partially this is because of their great selection of pinball games, but mostly this is because of the great owner, staff, and patrons. Everyone who works here and all the regulars are just great people to hang out with, I could come here every day.

Came here for the pinball, left with having $ 5 beer plus a shot. Can’t get much better than that. I met up with a date here. It’s a good low-key spot with an assortment of random board games(which were missing a lot of pieces, i might add) and of course, cheap drinks. They were having a special on $ 5 draft beers with a shot of your choice. So, obviously, we couldn’t pass on that deal. The staff was nice and the ambiance was your typical grunge dive bar. They recommended that we should play the two player baseball pinball machine, which was actually a lot of fun(or maybe it was the drinks). This is a place I could see myself meeting up with friends on a random Thursday night. It’s kind of tucked away in Brooklyn, so definitely worth checking out.

Full Disclosure: I work here, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love it. Why do I love it? Well, first off, there is the nicest owner in the whole wide world, they have flashing games, amazing coworkers, and great beer. I highly recommend this place – even to people who don’t drink or can’t play games. Yes, it’s that good. And did I mention how cool the owner is? He’s so nice, I’m hoping to get a raise for this review.

What goes good with a good pint of beer? Pinball, of course! The owner, a very cool dude, is also a fellow Pinball collector, player, and enthusiast. In a world where people are tapping on their phones and tablets to play virtual versions of machines, the real thing can be had here and there is no substitute for a steel ball and a real table with real flipper buttons. Thanks to places like Jackbar, Pinball is being rediscovered! Oh yeah, did I mention the beer is good too?

Great staff and ambiance, but the drinks are very strong. For example, the jalapeño margarita tasted like straight tequila and spice. Not for the faint of heart. My boyfriend and I went to Jackbar on Saturday night, and I was surprised to see that the bar was virtually empty. On the plus-side, that gave us as much access as we wanted to Jackbar’s array of pinball machines(for the record, many of which were out of service). Perhaps it was an odd night, but I would recommend this for a relaxed night with a large group of friends versus a spot on a crazy night on the town. I am happy I went and would love to go back again, but would definitely choose a different drink.

The drinks were pretty strong here. My girlfriend and I had jalapeño margaritas, and the jalapeño was definitely strong – still okay for me, but too spicy for her. The service here is very good. I lost my credit card, and they were very prompt to get it back to me when I returned. Also, this bar has tons of pinball machines, probably 15 or so, and we had a great time playing 10 or so. Overall, a decent bar, but I really appreciated the good service.

Boris is amazing! We came in with our friends from out of town at 2am and he was more than happy to accommodate us. He is amazing and so happy. This place is on my regular bar list because of him!

Pretty awesome bar with a great beer selection — wish I could try more! Nice vibe with old and some newer pinball machines if you want to have some classic fun! Came in the afternoon on a Saturday when it rained and it’ll be pretty spacious and bartender is great! Tried the Founders Rubaeus Raspberry(a bit too sweet) and the UFO White(nice wheat beer that has a bit of a hoppy bitterness, flowery, tastes like Jasmine Tea mixed with beer).

I really wanted to hate this place. I mean really wanted to, but then I stepped into the bathroom, and holy shit ! Best selfie lighting ever. The beers and babes at this place don’t hurt either. But really if you want to send some hot nudes, go here get drunk and have a photo shoot in the bathroom. Oh and there’s a shit ton of pin ball machines too, if you’re into that sort of a thing.

A great brooklyn bar with enough regulars for it to not feel soulless. The machines are fun and the aesthetic is pleasing. Being able to order food into it is a nice perk. All in all, would highly recommend.

I had a blast at Jackbar! Besides a bunch of awesome pin ball machines lining the wall, they also have board games! Me and my friends had so much fun playing Apples to Apples. My favorite pinball machines was The Twilight Zone, AC/DC and a water rafter one I don’t remember the name of. The baseball machine was rad too. The bartender was really sweet! I don’t remember her name, but her kindness was very much appreciated. She suggested the jalepno chips to me and I loved it! It’s a small space, but it doesn’t feel cramped. And all games are 50 cents. Sweet! Oh yeah– and grilled cheese sandwiches? … They seriously never want me to leave.

Really awesome bar. Apart from the pinball, you might not expect a really solid tap list, and great beer and shot specials. The bartenders are all great and the locals are friendly. The atmosphere is generally on point and pretty low key. I can either swing by solo or with a group of friends. Do keep in mind this is very much a beer and shot kind of bar, if that isn’t what you are looking for, look elsewhere. Oh and did I mention that their well whiskey is Evan Williams? That has to be one of the best well shots in BK.
