No doubt that this place with 7 pinball machines is one of the best in the city. Would have get a 5 stars if all bartenders were good and know how to mix drinks …

I am terrible at pinball, but that doesn’t stop me from trying. It’s so inexpensive and it gives you something to do when you don’t feel like dancing, but you also don’t feel like sinking into the seats of a divey bar booth. Would recommend!

They got pinball :) ’nuff said, right? :) Well, they also have super cheap drinks, so that’s another plus. Sure, they don’t have a huge bar selection, but they got whiskey… and they got beer… so what else you need anyway? :) As for atmosphere, this place is a dive bar, so don’t expect marble countertops and champagne flutes. But, if you’re like me and love a good dive bar, get your arse over to Williamsburg and get your pinball and drink on at the Satellite.

I give this place 2 stars only for the fact that they have those rad pinball machines. Otherwise, I’m not a huge fan of this place. The bartender was so cranky and unaccommodating. When I wanted change for the pinball he acted as if I asked him to go get manscaped. Then my friend got the WORST drink ever, and everyone who was with us agreed that it was horrid. So she asked for something different and he had the nerve to charge another $ 5. I understand this guy might hate his job but don’t make us hate coming out to try to have a good time in the process. Not cool.

Every time I’ve gone here it’s been pleasant and quiet. Sometimes a little too quiet, but I’d take that over noisy crowded bars any day. Also, they have pinball machines! Quite a few(7 I think?) and they switch them up every so often. Satellite is what Barcade should be, quiet and not crowded! A shame I like classic video games more than pinball. I haven’t been here often enough to know their complete beer selection, but I remember getting a Brooklyn Lager for just $ 5!

Nice divey little spot with pinball machines and a few booths if you want to go with a group for friends and hang out. The music is good and I’m told there is even live music there sometimes, although I haven’t been there for that. It’s not the kind of place you go for their specialty drinks, you just plop down $ 5 and get a Miller High Life with your choice of shot. In short, get fucked up for a bargain. There are about 6 pinball machines and the regulars get pretty competitive about it at times. I’ve recently given into the pinball gods and on occasion, drunkenly find myself in front of a machine and spending my laundry money. Cool place to go and hang out at, very easy on the wallet.

If you like divey, you’ve found it. Herein lies dive delight, dive incarnate, dive central, dive definition. You have your choice of dive awesomeness to drink here, but what was really cool was that they didn’t mind us bringing food in from Buffalo Cantina next door. So that was a plus. Finishing up, and a game of pinball completes the evening on an up note after having started in the not so wonderful Meatpacking District!

Pinball machines and beer? Yes, please! I came here with a group of friends to grab some beers and play some pinball. The beers are only $ 5 and the games range from 50 cents to 75 cents. The bartender was courteous and even gave us our money back when the Avatar machine ate our quarters. The music is good too — not too loud so you can still hear what people next to you are saying. I’m definitely returning to Satellite.

I love pinball. This place has 7 machines in one room. Pretty nice if you’re in a pinball mood. The music and the bartender are nice too.

Nice little bar. Go for the pinball machines. Went on president’s day, and there was not a soul there, but the bartender was friendly and let my friend and I tackle the six pinball machines in peace.(Earthquake was broken) Beer and mixed drinks were cheap. $ 4 beers/well but it was during happy hour. Really relaxed place. Bartender even played a game of pinball himself! I would absolutely go back.

Pinball. Thats all you need. I could even do without the beer. But that’s just me. Earthshaker was out of service, though. Bummer.

Pinball is the name of the game here. This isn’t a bar to meet girls or boys. This isn’t a bar to try new cocktails or brews nor is it a bar where you try to look your best while attempting to worm your way to the bartender. This is a bar for traditional beers in a friendly environment and a place for you to deposit your hard earned cash into blinking, clanging, obnoxiously enjoyable pinball machines. And this bar is all the better for it. Take 4 tables, lots of friends, fistfulls of quarters and you have the recipe for a great Monday night. I never knew the beauty and joy that is pinball. But thanks to my new friends Batman, Indiana Jones and Monster Bash, I have a recurring date with Satellite Lounge.

Nothing like the Satellite Lounge when you’re in the mood for a rousing game of pinball and/or a $ 6 beer/whiskey shot combo. Also, the lighting is really dim here so it’s good for cuddles if you’re part of a couple and/or surprises(!) if you’re not.

What can I say about this place that hasn’t been said already?! This place is tops! Pinball Pinball Pinball Pinball Pinball! One shout each for all 5 machines. They have a great selection of new to old, they’re in good shape and a fair per game price. It’s $.50 — $.75 a game, depending on the machine. The cupholders are a big plus! If you play pinball at all, you know how you need your drink close by… especially if you’re in a flow. It’s a great place to go with friends or yourself. btw: There are now 6 pinball machines!

They have six pinball tables. That in my book is enough to make them better than any other bar in New York, but they also have a really friendly staff, friendly patronage(a rarity in the area) and cheap drinks. The ambiance is a sparse and it is a bit of a dive, but not the kind where old drunks hang out and pee in the booths.

Stumbling down Bedford Ave yesterday, I ran into two friends who were jumping into a pinball gathering down on Havemayer. «Pinball I wondered?» Hadn’t ever really cared about it nor played it much… but followed them nonetheless and wound up here! Turns out this place(most likely) has the most machines(4) in one place in brooklyn. Pinball is so freakin’ fun. We sat there for 2 hours playing! It’s only 50 cents per player per game and you can all play together — up to 4 players! It is so fun!!! I agree with Dave that this place definitely needs to be worn in, so go! Check it out. Dim lighting, nice wooden booths, open space to dance if the mood strikes ya, nice bar + nice bartender. Not sure how happy the neighbors are that this place exists… hope that doesn’t cause too much of a problem for them!
