Jonsar Studios

I found Jonsar during a culinary event in the Hamptons. They were providing complimentary photos to the event’s attendees, and I figured I’d give them a shot (it was free afterall). I was mixing plenty of grain and grappa that night, and despite the odds being against me, their ad hoc photo session resulted in many excellent photos of myself and the people I was with. My mom was with me that night, and she decided to follow-​up with the studio for a family portrait session at their studios in Brooklyn. About 2 weeks ago, and about 2 months after we originally were introduced to Jonsar in the Hamptons, we took our family portraits (19 people in all). The experience, and the courtesy of the owners, Rob and Cat in accommodating our requests, was exceptional. I, along with my family, were elated by the outcome. We will be back next year (hopefully I lose some weight by then — :-))

We were nervous about doing engagement photos and feared they would come out cheesy and contrived. However, we met Kat and Robert in their beautiful studio and immediately felt at ease. They are ultimate professionals and at the same time, so welcoming and wonderful. They listened carefully to our concerns and had a clear vision for how to proceed. Our resulting pictures were absolutely STUNNING. I could not imagine them coming out better. The shoot itself was so much fun and will always be a happy memory for us, especially since we have these gorgeous images forever. I would highly recommend Jonsar to anyone wanting portraits, engagement or wedding photos. They are an incredible team. You will not find anyone better.

You guys are amazing. You have a way of getting inside the subject and finding the moment that captures people as they see themselves.
