My father, a long time friend of the owners, always use to take me to Jubilat Provisions early on Saturday mornings. A kabanos(small-kielbasa) in one hand and a paczek in the other, always made for a great weekend. I am not being biased in my review whatsoever, this butcher hands down has the best kielbasa I ever tasted in my life. Being a true Polak, i traveled many times to Poland tasting fresh kielbasa that was made the day of or even after(we all know we should let your meat rest) from a pig I watched slaughtered. This kielbasa beats every kielbasa I ever had! Great blood sausage and bacon. If only their was a gastro-pub next door serving cold European lagers and Jubilat Kielbasa, I would move into the neighborhood!

If you love homemade meats and smoked specialties, you will absolutely love Jubilat. Great Kabanosy, Kielbasa, and my favorite, pork tenderloin. So fresh, that sometimes it is still warm when it is sliced. If you want to treat yourself, and experience a lost art, stop by and try something. I promise you will not be disappointed. Everything is delicious. If you plan on going by in preparation for a holiday, go early. The line gets very long. Staff is very nice and will answer all questions, in English or Polish. I love it.

Goodness! Recently moved in the neighborhood and my friend recommended this place. So happy he did. Their products are very fresh and tasty. Loved double smoked Lesna kielbasa and Parowki. I’m not stranger to Eastern European stores but this is my new favorite!

They make their own kielbasa. What more is there to say?

This is one of the jewels of the neighborhood. Great Polish meats and cheeses, breads and baked goods, oh and those desserts! Also, some Polish products you won’t find anywhere else. When I moved away from Greenpoint, I feared I had lost my great Polish delis for good — thank goodness that South Slope has this diamond in the rough. Oh, and I have to add. .. the owners/workers are very nice and helpful, and don’t mind one’s lack of Polish proficiency — none of that«Greenpoint ‘Tude» that used to make my blood boil. Makes for such a nice shopping experience.

In house, smoked sausage as authentic old school kielbasa and cured meats as it gets. This place is perfect, there’s not much else to say but go get a damn sausage. Also great to pick up a pork butt and make some good pulled pork. I’m seriously in love with this shop don’t ever leave.

Amazing wide selection of meats to choose from!(Still the same high quality of products from when I was young.) Although the line can go out the door on any given day, the workers really know how to keep the customers organized and speed up the flow of traffic in the store. Some items may disappear at some point(For instance, they used to sell stuffed cabbage) but that doesn’t distract from the constant deliciousness of the meats offered!

Buy sausage here, they have lots, it’s cheap and fantastic. Watch out for the garlic sausage. Those babies need to be triple wrapped in your fridge!!! This is an institution not to be missed, I was introduced by my father in law, and he did not steer me wrong. God bless Poand!!!

I heart this place to death. Tons of polish sausage varieties, they are polite, the prices are good, and the sausages are really great. I always make sure I come here when I have guests so I can include it in their breakfast. Really — you can’t go wrong.

I always forget this place is here… a really great Polish butcher shop with some pre-made polish cakes and perogies. A great option for meat in the neighborhood and their smoked bacon and tenderloin is as good as anything I have had in Greenpoint. Great quality, the giant smoker in back smells awesome and the prices are fair. Recently I got 3 of Boston Butt for $ 10 cheaper then at Union Market. The smoked bacon is awesome although different then the American counterpart.

Life changing kielbasa, life changing pickles and pretty damn good cheese. I’ve previously raved about Eagle’s kielbasa, which is great, but this is better. You still have to hit Eagle for pierogi, serek wiejski etc., but definitely hit Jubilat on the way home. In addition, and this is extremely rare, but I have better Polish than the clerk has English, so it’s always fun to fumble through an order po polsku.

The best bacon anywhere! Why spend $ 12.00 for a sandwich with«exotic» slab bacon, when you can get bacon and ribs here by the piece! Yes, you can be like Chris Rock and ask for $ 4.00 of ribs:) I also recommend«Grannies» rye bread, fresh kraut and every other single thing they make. Service is kurt, and I really don’t care. Enough about people not kissing your butt when they are the experts.

This place is fantastic. Went in the other day and I’m so glad I did. I bought some pepper kielbasa which was amazing. Delicious and smoky, yet moist(I hate myself for using that word). I also bought some of their much talked about bacon. Holy bacon deliciousness. I bought the regular bacon, but they also had deep fried bacon! I was too timid for this though… for now. This is a family run place and I talked with the girl behind the counter whose father owns the place. So nice and accommodating. NOTE: They do NOT take credit cards.

Imagine the best qualities of a real Eastern European butcher shop: the home-cured meats and cold cuts you’ve never seen before, the nifty jars and bottles of condiments and accompaniments you want with your kielbasa — way beyond pickled mushrooms and mustard — and the fresh bread, the dairy case, the butchers whose first language is Polish. Now fit the best of them into a small, clean, tidy storefront and place it in your neighborhood. Oh thank goodness this place exists. I do miss Kurowycky’s in the East Village, but Jubilat covers the basics and then some. There is even babka behind the counter(if there’s cheese-filled babka, ooh, get some and have it with coffee), and sometimes a box or two of fresh pczki(pronounce: ) which are sort of like a filled donut if you omit the hole and make the dough very light and fluffy. Their homemade ham is the best sandwich meat I’ve ever had. Their kielbasy are very good; they have a dark double-smoked one if you’re hard-core. They even have the thin kabanosy, «hunter’s sausage,» which is somewhere between a kielbasa and a Slim Jim; you can get ‘em young and slice them into moist pieces or get ‘em aged and wrinkly so you can snap off pieces to snack on as you walk in the forest or wherever.
