Ordered via Seamless. Good Chinese food. Especially loved that they have vegetarian dumplings! Portions are big enough to share.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood, and I have lived in the neighborhood for over 20 years. However, new employees are rude to loyal customers. Thanks to Amy, this place won’t be getting my $ 40-$ 50 on fast food Friday’s. Bye Bye from 1363.

Well I ordered from them because I’m at a friends house and they were closest there two blocks away from where I am it took them one hour to deliver one order of sesame chicken combination the food was lousy the service was lousy and I still give them a $ 2.30 tip for an hour wait from two blocks he didn’t even say thank you Will I be eating here again no I will not be and I recommend you do not either yuck!

I have had delivery from there for a number of years. I wouldn’t say the food is great it’s okay, but I always enjoyed the fact that it wasn’t that far from home. I recently stopped by there the other day to order something. Although it was somewhat crowded the counter was empty, the customers were all waiting for food they had already ordered. So when I approached the counter I thought that I would be helped right away. Instead of being helped a young woman just stood behind the counter & and chose to ignore me never once asking me if I had been helped already or if I wanted to place an order. I was so irritated I chose to not even place an order there I went elsewhere. Now fast forward a week later, me being the idiot that I am I call and place an order for delivery. And when my delivery comes /which was prompt I put on a DVD and begin eating my food. And what should I find when I get down to my last two nuggets? A foreign object lying beneath the nugget. It looks like part of some sort of cooking utensil that happened to melt when the food was being cooked and was left in the food. Thank God it was just chicken nuggets and French fries, had it been something else I might have ingested it without knowing. How in the world does some foreign object get into chicken nuggets and french fries they’re both deep-fried and then dumped out into a container which would make it easy for you to spot with your eye. But in any case in the past I found things like long strands of hair in my food and I let it go, not that I ate it… I threw it out. But at what point do you say enough is enough. So I can certainly say that this place has lost me as a customer forever.

So. The food is okay. Tastes like Chinese food to me really but the customer service there is TERRIBLE!!! Wow. Don’t even bother calling. The man that answers the phone has the worst attitude that I’ve ever experienced at a business establishment PERIOD! I literally NEVER order from here anymore. It’s a million chinese restaurants in Mill Basin. Go with China Wok, China Tokyo or Bok Choy

Too many chinese places in the neighborhood so decision making gets a little cloudy, but this place has been consistently good for years. Highly reccomended!

Very clean and very good food. The food is at the level of «gourmet chinese food» without the gourmet prices. The tables are always clean and as the previous reviewer said, it is set apart from other dingy, greasy, unclean places. The Lo Mein is never too dry as what happens at most other restaurants. Chicken and Broccoli is always good and their spring rolls are great as well. Fried Rice is not tasteless yellow rice, but perfectly seasoned. If my review was solely based on cleanliness and good food, they would have gotten 5 stars. Service can be an issue and they can be rude at times depending on who greets you at the counter. But the good thing is that takeout places don’t have to be great at service anyway since you’re in and out.

Having owned a Chinese restaurant, I’m a bit of an expert on this cusine. Kam Fung is an excellent take out joint. From the moment you enter the clean, brightly lit interior you realize that this is no ordinary chinese take out place. Off the bat, the nicely stained wood panels trimmed with crown mouldings surrounding the dining /take out area sets it apart from the other dingy, greasy, unclean take out places. Then as you place your order, you suddenly notice that, they speak perfect english.(Not being sarcastic here cause, I’m Korean) and take it with ease. Their menu is same as all the other take outs but it is far superior. The Hot and sour soup, which is very hard to make correctly, is delicious. Just the right amout of spices and vegitables blend in this great soup. Their Kung Po chicken also is exceptional and cooked to perfection. The crunchy vegitables complement the chicken very well. The chicken and broccoli, Chicken w/garlic sauce, and the fried dumplings all are very tasty. During the summer vacation, you will see the adorable sons and daughters working the phones and the front counter. You can see that they rather not be there but they make the best of it.
