Spring Garden

I’m so happy this place popped up on seamless. They’re my go-​to for Chinese now. Everything is always good and never feels too heavy or greasy like most Chinese takeout. I gave their Thai a try. It was a bit disappointing. There were no peanuts, barely any sauce and it just didn’t taste like pad Thai. I will definitely continue to order their Chinese dishes though.

Portions are awesome. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food. Food was delivered hot during the snow storm. Will definitely reorder again.

I ordered the Tai chein chicken, delivery. They sent me a totally different dish, ok no problem. Just send me out the correct item. Apparently that was a big problem for them. I called to get the right item sent out. A lady answers. I tell her the issue she says ”too bad, next time.” and hangs up! I call back and a young man answers. He proceeds to tell me, you do have the correct item. We have been making this for years. We know what we make. The dish was suppose to be chicken with mushrooms, red and green peppers in a brown hot and spicy sauce. What they gave me is fried chunks of chicken with sweet and sour sauce (red sauce) with broccoli, corn, carrots and whatever else kind of vegetable. Now an older man gets on the phone. I repeat the issue again. I tell him what I have in front of me and he says ”oh yes, that’s not the right item. I think it’s described wrong on the seamless website.” I’ve been arguing for 15 minutes already. I say thank you that’s all I wanted to hear. He adds ”Oh and we don’t have any mushrooms so we use what we have sometimes. We can send you something else.” After all this I don’t want them to send me anything. I won’t be ordering from you again because I shouldn’t have to argue with two people before someone actually believes that I have the wrong item. So can you refund my money. He said no! You think I trust you with my food now after I have argued with you for 15 minutes? No thank you! Unauthorized charge. I won’t be ordering from here anymore.

I have to admit that giving up on Chinese wasn’t so far fetched. Majority of Chinese restaurants make horrible food and you feel it for a day or two.
I was craving Chinese and have tried all of the other restaurants in my area so glad I came across this place.
Unlike all the other places the sesame chicken was crispy the way it should be and very tasty.
I 100% recommend this place.

The sesame chicken and egg rolls and the cheese wontons are the best in Brooklyn, Guaranteed, Hands Down.

Needed a quick lunch so I gave it a shot with only one other review.
I ordered a small hot and sour soup that was made to order and had plenty of fresh mushrooms and tasted really good. Not to hot just right .
I also had chicken chow fun very tasty with lots of onions the way I like it, The noodle were fresh not like they had been in refrigerator .
All food was made to order very tasty .

The shrimp dumplings are so tasty and the prices are just right. This place is worth driving for. Must try… you won’t be disappointed!!!
