It doesn’t say anywhere — here or on its website — that the location is closed, but it is. We ventured out on a cold night recently and it was shut down. No idea if it’s closed for good or just for refurbishment, but either way just wanted to let people know it’s not open! :(

I really can’t say enough about this awesome little spot. I spotted it on a walk a few months ago and was intrigued by the façade on the building. I returned a bit later for dinner with my girlfriend, and it was perfect! The ambiance is very intimate, the service is impeccable, and the food is top notch! Oh, and the cherry on top? It’s a total steal! Two of us got cocktails, an appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert for $ 50 including tip! That is too glorious to not return to. And I plan on going again, very soon! PS: Our server’s name was Sarah and she was amazing! So knowledgable, friendly, and quick!

We were strolling the streets of Williamsburg earlier today with an insatiable appetite. There are so many restaurants in that area, so we used our Unilocal app to narrow down our choices. We hit a goldmine with Kristophe! Appetizer(Grilled Mixed Sausages) — 5⁄5 I asked what their selection of sausages was for today and was told it was bison, duck, and pheasant. Bring it! The appetizer brings three sausages with two sauces to dip them in, along with a few slices of toasted bread on the side. However, with the delicious, smoky flavor of the sausage, I would urge you not to use the ketchup and mustard they provide. No. Simply enjoy the protein before you and smile. The flavor that the sausages had was out-of-this-world! Quite simply, it was like nothing else I’ve had before. Entrée(Stuffed Chicken) — 5⁄5 Whenever an appetizer tastes delicious, it makes me feel confident that the entrée that will soon follow will be twice as good. Kristophe surely delivered with the entrée. The chicken is stuffed with yummy things I didn’t bother to inspect, over a serving of mushroom risotto, and has a red sauce on the side(red pepper port reduction?). The serving size for the entrée, as well as the appetizer, is very generous. Ambiance/Service —(5⁄5) The interior is so cozy that you almost feel at home. I particularly loved the seat by the window, nothing better than people-watching while eating a great meal.(I think I will claim that spot as my own here, so that in future visits I can always sit there). Our server was very friendly, fast, and helpful. A true hotspot in Williamsburg. Heads up: Parking sucks everywhere in Brooklyn, so plan to drive in circles for a while, especially during peak business hours). FYI: Kristophe has a special where all appetizers are half off… yes, 50% OFF, between the hours of 5 – 7. ALSO, if you check in on Unilocal with the app during the weekends for brunch(11AM-4PM) you get a free mimosa. You’re welcome… and if you want to thank me, become my fan on Unilocal! Merry eating.

Great food, love the atmosphere! Nice selection of beers and cocktails too. There are many restaurants to choose from in Williamsburg, but Kristophe stood out to me as a wonderful choice, especially for a date spot. I would recommend«The Mazza» to start, which consists of bourbon, maple, grapefruit bitters, and a bacon salt rim(yeah, bacon!). It was a savvy mix of sweet and salty. As far as the entrée, all I can say is that if you get the pork chop with the raspberry wine glaze, you will not be disappointed. The duck legs looked yummy as well, though my boyfriend gobbled them up before I could try a full bite(So I’ll assume they were amazing). The wood décor and seating felt very authentic and comfortable. Our waiter was exceedingly friendly and patient with us. Now I need to go back for brunch and use the free mimosa check-in deal!

Love it! Great food! Beer! Everyone who works there is genuinely nice to you. Also, everything on the menu is good. Didn’t have a single item that I didn’t like. And we got mimosa even though it turned out the iphone deal was for lunch and not dinner.

Came here on a rainy Tuesday around 8 with family, and was slightly put off by how empty it was, but I’m glad we stuck to it. The waitress was really nice(and really pretty just FYI) and gave us the menus and talked us through a couple options.) Everything we ended up with was delicious. Heres the play by play: –NY Strip Steak was juicy and the beer glaze was really nice as well. The creamed spinach was so delicious, it was my favorite part of the meal. –Stuffed Chicken was great: cheesy, flavorful and tender, the mushroom risotto it was served over was a bit heavy to be honest but the sauce was excellent –the Veal Schnitzel was eh, according to my parents, the mashed potatoes were cold but delicious(so, intentional?) and it comes with a mizeria cucumber salad that my mom said was«straight out of Poland»(which I think is a compliment). Overall food was good, the wait wasn’t too long, and the place has a cool look. My brother complained the metal seats were kinda hard, but I didn’t notice. Also, they have about 12 beers on tap, and a fully stocked bar.

Cool spot with casual seating and great meat options. Here’s some tips – — came as a table for 4 on a Friday night and was seated immediately — bacon appetizer comes with 2 pieces of bacon and a tasty aioli dip. mixed grilled sausage comes as a set of 3(duck, pheasant and bison) — 2 more dips. tasty — the burger is what everyone was eating. comes on a pretzel roll and is actually quite tasty($ 12). comes with both fries and salad — this place has really poor ventilation. so get ready to smell like everything you’re eating. it’s smoky. enough to make your eyes water — service is friendly, but slow would I go back? maybe not with enough other cool places around but I dug it.

Williamsburg always seems to have a hidden gem or 2 that seem to pop up whenever I pay attention. When I first noticed Kristophe i saw the sign for happy hour and boy do I wish I would have eaten and drank here, rather than the place I ending up eating at. So I only came here for drinks. It was about 730 on Thursday evening and they were still only at half capacity. I was able to grab a seat at the bar for what would be a watering session. They had a nice selection of beers and flights were available for under 10 dollars. I looked at the menu and there were several items that I wanted to order but didn’t since I wasn’t hungry. I saw what others were eating and it smelled and looked appetizing. The bartender was cool and at tentative to my party. One thing I would like to tell anyone is the men’s bathroom does not have a toilet. It only had 2 urinals. Just figured it’s good to mention that. We well Definitley come here again.

Queens is great for food, but sometimes I need a little Brooklyn to change things up, more specifically Williamsburg. The street parking was easy enough, even for a Ford F150 Lariat and off we went down the street and into quaint Kristophe’s. The Happy Hour menu, both food and beverage was the focus for our first stop. I felt immediately immersed in the cozy and warm décor and made my way up to the bar for a pint of Weihenstephan Hefeweizen. After knocking back two of those babies, I noticed a bottle of PIMM’s on the shelf and asked the young bartender if he knew of a PIMM’s and Soda. He quickly fired up the cell phone for a look and had three additional similar options of my request. He then muddled up some cucumber, squeezed a bit of fresh lemon juice and served me up one of the best cocktails I have ever had. I chased the PIMM’s down with the Grilled Mixed Sausage appetizer, consisting of elk, duck and venison, served up by Kris himself. With all appetizers being offered for three hours at half price, I was running out of time, having arrived a bit late, so I went with the Steak tartare, assuming it was a quick make. With the light onions, capers and seasonings, it was a total knock out.

First, just wow, this corner alone has rapidly become an eating and drinking destination! Looking for a good Happy Hour food spot near the L, this is a great one. There’s half off appetizers til 7 and they have a pretty good selection of beers. It’s nice too that the food leans more towards Greenpoint realm Polish fare but in Williamsburg proper and offering more than just burgers and chicken. That said, the burger was solid, fries thick and well-done. Bacon wrapped dates and Duck Pierogies were very tasty. Next time I need a reliable good spot in Williamsburg, Kristophe will be front and center.

I’d been meaning to eat at Kristophe for a long time and am now kicking myself for taking so long! Went here for dinner on a Thursday night. It was relatively early, so we were the only ones eating when we sat down(a few people at the bar). But as the night progressed, some more tables filled up. The food was pretty damn amazing. Trying to decide between the appetizers was like a game show, because they all sounded amazing. We ended up going for the Devils on Horseback(bacon wrapped dates) since my friend had never tried them before, as well as the wild game sausage platter. The dates were amazing and the bacon was charred perfectly. But I must say, I was completely blown away by the sausage selection. The game you get is based on availability, and we were lucky enough to get rabbit, duck and pheasant. I liked them all, but the rabbit was like really, really good. We also ordered two entrees to share family style. The first was the wild boar stuffed cabbage, and the second was the roasted duck legs. Let me tell you, their portions are GENEROUS. Come hungry. When people call it «comfort food», they mean it. The boar/cabbage was served in this great mushroom sauce with mashed potatoes. Very hearty. And the duck legs(which were gigantic but cooked just right) came with these fingerling-sized potato dumplings. All very good. Everything was very reasonably priced. Almost all entrees are under $ 20. They also have this awesome spicy margarita that I would probably stab someone for right now.

A chill place to go for weekend brunch. You get a free mimosa or bloody mary with your meal, and surprise! the mimosas are actually GOOD. The same can’t be said for the crab eggs benedict, however. It’s my own fault for thinking it would be as good as its brethren down in Maryland, where the blue crabs make for mouth-wateringly good benedicts. Still, the poached eggs were superb and the whole meal(minus the crab) was rather affordable and pleasant.

Let me just say, this place is pretty delish! A few of my friends and I went here for brunch, and it was quite yummy. Everyone including myself was very pleased with our meals. My sister and I split two entrees: one was a salad and the other was an egg dish. I would definitely ride that train again. My boyfriend got the brioche french toast with a blueberry compote, which looked pretty amazing. On top of their tasty delights, the service was excellent! Everything came out fast, and our waiter was such a sweetheart. My sister was having a really rough day and he noticed it right from the get go. He first brought her a complimentary mimosa. Shortly after that, he brought her a chocolate mousse. Quite a humble gentleman to say the least. Oh yeah and most importantly, Kristophe has an awesome outdoor space. It’s very zen. :) Now go check it out!

I was very disappointed with their vegetarian burger. The menu made it sound great — beets, kale, papaya, curry aioli pesto, but it was a huge disappointment. The patty itself left much to be desired… I felt like I was just eating a huge lump of wheat gluten. The patty wasn’t very well flavored and the texture was horrible! It could have been vastly improved with some black beans or quinoa perhaps to add more texture to the patty and beets and mushrooms or something to the patty to give it more flavor. My friends had the venison burger and said that was amazing, but alas, I’m cutting down my meat consumption, so that really wasn’t an option. That being said, our server was very attentive and their outdoor space is really cute and cozy.

First of all, if it is available you should sit in the garden. It is open and has nice greenery throughout, as well as good music playing. I came here for dinner early-ish on a Saturday night and our server was attentive although not very talkative/personable. We were there during happy hour specials — $ 3 beer and half price apps. We ordered beers, one appetizer and the main course. The sweet potato perogies were SO good. I think the style of the breading would do well with the duck. For the main course my dad got the pork chop, I got the regular burger and my sister got the venison burger. The pork chop was very good. The burgers were okay, I liked the toppings but the venison burger just had too much and you couldn’t taste the variety. I think the burger could have had a little more flavor, which is why I am giving 4 out of 5 stars. The burgers are also HUGE. One thing to know is that the meals are not that expensive! I will definitely be back to try other food and also just hang out in this cool location. Maybe next time I will give 5 stars.

4 ½!!! Ambience– fantastic. The inner interior is definitely like mid evil times-(mentioned below– in another Unilocaler’s review). They also have an outdoor garden that looks awesome on a cooler summer day. Food– awesome! Enjoyed happy hr on a Friday night– that’s right! A Friday night! They have happy hr everyday 5 – 7. Half off apps, beer $ 3, wine $ 6. BTW, wicked cool beer list. Service– on point! We had an Italian guy named Fabio. He was great! The other guys and bartender seem really cool, too. Food– sweet potato dumplings, split pea soup, grilled bacon– all good apps Veggie burger homemade with fresh cut fries– yum. Sweet and savory.(made with beets) Chicken pesto sandwich– delicious Veal cutlet– hear it was very good Burger– hear it was very good Generous portions, too! I ordered the chocolate mouse for my husband’s birthday and it was also smooth and yummy. Will be back soon for sure.

First time customers last night. Place is just beautiful. Must have been very expensive, down to the tables being cut around trees in the back! The outdoor garden is gorgeous and many of the tables are covered, so you can eat/drink out there even if it’s raining. Our server, Rocco, gets 5 stars from us. He was friendly, helpful with the menu items, and cool overall. Now to the food… they think a little outside the box, which is great. We had the duck perogies and bacon wrapped dates for appetizers. My husband loved the duck perogies, I thought they were dry and would be different. They are more like a meat pie, with the duck ground up with spices. The bacon wrapped dates were amazing. Like eating pieces of candy. It was like breakfast in a bite because the dates are sweet like maple syrup and wrapped in bacon… well, they were crispy and great. My husband had the venison burger which he liked. They have lots happening on the burgers, topping wise — not just your usual tomato and lettuce. He told them to hold the Portobello and brie. He said the fries were great. I had the grass-fed beef burger. Loved my toppings. Choices of cheese do not include cheddar or American. I think they were swiss, provolone, brie and something else. Loved the spicy mayo, and when I added the dressed salad leaves they put on the side with the pretzel roll, it was great. I ate the second half without the burger. The burger was dry and lean, reminding me of a turkey burger. When I get a burger, I want it to be juicy and messy, and yes, a little greasy. The tap beers were interesting also; they had a couple my husband had never tried. The problem was, they were cool, but not cold enough. I like beer very cold. Next time, we would go back with friends. It was happy hour, with $ 3 beer and $ 6 wine. Half-price apps. Burger was only $ 12. We ate all that and had 2 beers each for $ 50, not including tip.

Came here for dinner as I never knew this place existed, but it’s a nice restaurant with a backyard garden which can seat quite a few different parties. First of all, if it’s a nice night I 100% recommend sitting in the back garden. As for the food, I ordered the Sweet Potato Pierogies and Duck Pierogies as appetizers. I don’t think I’ve ever tried a Pierogie before but they were VERYGOOD! If anything, they tasted like dumplings. I really recommend the Duck Pierogie. For entrée, I saw that the Venison Burger was recommended, so I got that. Burger was fantastic. It was huge and cooked perfectly. Instead of the regular fries, I got the Sweet Potato fries. The fries were cut really big and no complaints about that. It’s an unassuming restaurant in Williamsburg. It was rather quiet the Thursday night I came, but they have a decent size bar and a nice garden to sit at for dinner.

This was a random pick for our Sunday brunch last weekend. Thanks to Unilocal app for helping me find this place. It is a really cool spot for good food. The entrance though is small but the place is very well laid. The have a bar and few tables in the first section. They also have a outdoor space in the back. We decided to sit outside(we were 5 in the party), the server explained that they have heaters in the outdoor space which will help us to enjoy outdoors(it was little cold that day). The outdoor space is really really nice. Really liked the all wooden furniture with impressive décor. Our servers were really attentive. Unilocal check in gets one free mimosa before 4 but since it was after 4 the server still acknowledged my request for it. They have a really good Happy Hour where the wines and appetizers are half priced. Below is what we tried here — *Duck Periogies *Potato Periogies *Beef tar tar *Sauages *Bacon wrapped dates *Burger *Porkchops I really liked the potato periogies but the best thing was bacon wrapped dates. I would go back just to eat those. I did not taste Beef tar tar but my friends did not like it. The sausages were ok too with a mix of diiferent klinds of meat. They also served bread on the side and we asked for butter which they also acknowledged. Overall we had a good experience here and really enjoyed our dinner.

Kristophe’s menu appealed to me right from the start. Euro comfort foods think Pan/Euro an amalgm of German/Hungarian/Czech w/some American thrown in. Kristophe also has lots of Euro beers on top. Ate: Grilled bacon Sweet Potato pierogies Grilled pork chop w/mashed turnips, string beans Drank: Czech Imperial on tap Loved the pan fried spot on pierogies. Grilled bacon was wickedly good. Pork chop was a tad overdone for me, but super tasty. Service here was very friendly and accomodating. Especially liked the rustic European feeling bar/dining room.
