Love this LB! The layout takes some getting used to, but it’s kind of fun if you take it in stride. Overall the sales reps are really friendly and helpful, with shoutouts to Yesenia(I hope I remembered her name right!) for really going above and beyond with my jeans woes and another girl(whose name I should know by now! I’ll get you next time!) who remembers my face and ALWAYS has something sweet or interesting to say about my fashion sense. One star off just because LB is a moneysuck, lol. $ 30 for a basic pair of printed leggings is painful.

The customer service at this location is beyond terrible. I dread having to go, and try to shop at the 34th st location when I can. When I do resort to going here I walk in with absolute disgust because I know I’m about to be treated w the utmost disrespect. Asking for a fitting room, or a size check results in side eye and exasperated sighs from the staff. Forget about trying to have them look something up online that’s sold out in store, the employees would have to stop gossiping with each other and actually work. And it’s not just the sales associates, the manager is a real piece of work herself. I worked in retail in the past and would have been fired if I ever was this rude and flat out mean to a customer. Very disappointing, I thought LB had huger standards.

I’m NOT impressed. I usually go the the store on 34th Street, but today I was downtown Brooklyn so I said why not… I was greeted at the door and the staff was friendly. However the lines were long and no one came to the rescue, when I finally made it to the cashier my item was missing the all knowing upc code, the associate advised me to find the jacket bring it back to the register so she could scan it, I was like«wow». As a former manager with two big retail chain stores it is our responsibility as the associate to hunt down the upc… not the customers. Epic fail. I did get the buy one regular price item get the next item 50% off deal. This is why I go to the store on W.34 th Street.

Let’s me real lady !! A book always got a story and looks great from the outside but can be boring on the inside. My personal experience working as a manager there. Rude employees to the new managers, BIG turn over rate on managers. They expected so much to learn and understand about the store and company in so little time and no team work from other leadership members . Lots of talking about people and mangers behind there back and when you think this is suppose to be a place to advance and grow. Well it’s not they set you up for failure. I don’t recommend this store or company to any one

I use to love coming here for their clearance section on the second floor. But now since their prices gone up their clearance section has seems to be mixed in with regular priced clothes now. How am i suppose to know which is which?

Is it me, or did Lane Bryant raise their prices and lower their stock? I went in today looking for a fall jacket and they had maybe 4 or 5 options. The associates are very nice and friendly here, but the store was almost completely empty on Columbus Day weekend. I came in looking for a nice jacket and a good sale, and found neither. I walked out with nothing… A first, for me. Overall, pretty disappointing. I’m going to stick with Modcloth from now on for cute, affordable plus sized fashion.

The customer service is great at this location but that’s as it should be in every store. For me being a sexy plus woman the task of finding quality, affordable & stylish clothing to cover my curves has been the bane of my existence. Since I’ve moved to Brooklyn this Lane Bryant location is 100% golden in my book mainly because of its clearance section on the second floor. I always get the best deals on cute clothes here. Just today I purchased 3 pairs of jeans, a knit tank top and a cute floor length lounger gown which after totaling the original prices came to $ 296.14 but I only payed $ 31.95.

Overall I thought this was a great store, just not for me. Great sales reps. Great location. Great environment within. But, the prices we too expensive for me to shop and I didn’t really see anything I would actually wear. This is definitely geared towards the professional, woman in their mid to late 20’s and older. I could definitely see myself coming in for a nice outfit for work or an outing, but nothing really for casual wear.

I was searching for professional attire to add to my wardrobe. I was greeted at the door, advised of the day’s deals, then told if I ever needed help to let the associate know. I walked a few feet away and was offered assistance by another associate which I declined. I like to just browse around first then ask for help, if needed. The athletic and jeans sections never catch my eye, but I did pick up a few items towards the back of the store. I love their pants event. A pair typically costs about $ 50 and up and they gave $ 10-$ 20 off, depending on regular price. I still think the clothes are overly-priced, but I am thankful for the real women dollars, coupons, and additional discounts provided. I wouldn’t shop without them. I would like to see more options for tall women, seems like a lot of their pants are average size. Then again, I may be visiting the store after the tall selections have been bought. I love the convenience of the location when it comes to mass transit and note their wider selection in comparison to the store located on Flatbush and Tilden avenues. Sales associates were very helpful and on the floor to provide assistance.

So glad they the store seems to have a more friendly/positive environment. Was not aware that this location is the NYC flagship store until this year yet I’ve been shopping here forever. One of my major dislikes about this company however is that their clothes are so freakin expensive. A great place to purchase underwear however. Also they sell shoes in larger sizes which is a plus.

I love Lane Bryant for several reasons. The prices are high, that much is true, but they offer several outs. If you sign up for their newsletter they send several emails detailing their sales and coupons. Also they send out a catalog every few months filled with coupons that you can use in store and online. The store is very well kept and the staff is VERY helpful and so well dressed. The Cacique bra’s are some of the best I’ve ever had though my only complaint is that they could have a bigger selection for women who wear sizes beyond a DD. I enjoy most of their selections and since they’ve added a DKNY and Loop 18 [a youthful junior plus division] sections they add a sassy and youthful appeal to LB’s sometimes older looking apparel. The sale floor upstairs is large and I think it could be better organized. Though you could find a few gems in there but good luck if you’re average because there are not many average length jeans mostly tall and petite. Overall I love this store and shop there all the time, the clothes are of good quality and you honestly get what you pay for.

everyone says«denika, you spend too much on your underwear. i can’t believe you do that! you’re always talking about saving money and then you buy those?» but that’s just because they don’t clearly understand the quality of lane bryant’s cacique line. i used to be a stylist for lane bryant a while back and that’s where my appreciation of their undergarments stemmed from but actually, they stand the test of time. you might spend $ 100 + but think of it this way, they’ll likely last for years, the black ones don’t stain even if you’re on your period, and they are flattering. to get a discount on them, sign up for the friends and family event, the newsletter, & ask the staff when the next big sales is.

Cacique’s plunge bras(Only found at LB) are really fierce. This location has the biggest clearance section with big cheap panty bins, haha. It’s especially fierce because all of the slutty panties are the kind on clearance and that suits my needs just fine ;). That’s it. Lane Bryant sucks for actual clothes. Way too expensive for such a mediocre product.
