Took my daughter’s bike to Larry’s. It had been sitting in the garage for over a year and the tire was shot from previous wear and just sitting and getting brittle. The seat also needed changing. The shop’s atmosphere was friendly. They did the work in front of me. Then I remembered I wanted a basket put on my bike. My daughter and I left her bike there, drove home and got mine, and they put a basket on. I also went for a bell and two bike locks. All very comfy and friendly. I paid by credit card, then drove my daughter’s bike home. Someone came in as we were leaving. We then came back and got my bike and they were working on the next customer’s bike.

I swear by Larry’s bike shop! Every since I got my bike a couple of years ago, the shop has been in my life. The mechanics enjoy what they do and it’s pretty open. You can see them working on your bike. The selection of quality bikes they carry is also appealing. I want to get a new bike and the staff mechanic was more than happy to answer my million and one questions. Highly recommend!

What kind of bike shop doesn’t have a floor pump? Went in with a friend who had blown out her rear tire, she bought a replacement, and the four employees present watch us change it ourselves on the floor of the shop while they sat in the back eating sandwiches. When we got the flat fixed, asked for a pump, was told to use air hose outside. No one could tell me what it’s PSI limit was and there was no gauge. Hose had Schraeder attachment, went inside to ask for an adapter for my friends presta valve, and surly woman behind the counter scoffed that I didn’t have one on my person. Who carries an adapter on them at all times? Least helpful shop I’ve ever been to, with rudest employees.

S*****!!! Second day in a row I got a flat tire. This time, I was on a long, relaxing Monday afternoon ride with my boyfriend. But, but, just yesterday the dude at the bike shop near my house gave me a new tube. Thank the lord I was only two blocks away from this bike shop when I went flat. Took the bike in, I needed a new tire. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Big shop, and I love the 60’s/70’s looking awning

I have always had the best of luck with this bike shop. They are super helpful, even hooked up my front basket once because it was messing with my brakes how I put it on. So happy that this place is not all hipstered out like the posers in the ‘hood. I have always gotten a great deal on getting my flats fixed, which I wish I had been to them lately. Three flats in two weeks and down about $ 30+. What gives?

Cyclist beware… they are scam artists here. I left my bike to have an innertube replaced. When I got my bike back my new brakes, handle grips, and front tire had all mysteriously gotten older and worn. With every change to my bike I take pictures and send them(with receipts to my renters insurance). I confronted the guy who«fixed» my bike who turned out to be the owner and after hearing him lie to my face I showed him pictures and receipts I stored in my dropbox(good old dropbox)…he quickly changed his story. End result, my initial parts were back on my bike among with an apology and an innertube on the house. Be VERYCAREFUL with this place.

I’ve been going here since I was little. Still do sometimes!(Only because I live farther away) My dad always bought our bikes from here, and they do awesome work on repairs and assemblies. They have everything you need for all your biking needs. ^^
