As far as food goes, this place is pretty average. Just so average. They have a big selection but it’s a bit weird too. The price is decent and the portions are huge, I think that’s why my friend liked this place. The service was good, can’t complain there.

One word: «Avoid» This one star is only for the server to the newly named(previously known as the Legend Steak house) to something else. He spent plenty of time explaining the menu to us painstakingly but to no avail. We ended up ordering the worst food possible on the whole of 86th street. Its basically a new cover on the same old book. The owners have changed the name of something new. I am stunned to see that people have given this place 4 stars! Had the misfortune of stopping here last night with hubby dear and still suffering from the repercussions of upset tummy… We heard the ominous sound of microwave timer time and again chime inside this place. This is what we ordered and paying for it still: For apps: chicken fried pork with fries and mushroom soup. Both looked like they came from some frozen concoction and just quickly warmed up in the microwave. For entrée: I ordered the curry baked sea food and almost gagged when I tasted the fish and squid in it. Man did it stink! My husband ordered the udon seafood noodles, which was not any better. Oh and yes it’s a «cash only place», which charges $ 1.50 for a soda. I don’t know who all come here to eat and give this place 4 – 5 stars… I am kicking myself and making a mental note to never experiment without reading other Unilocal reviews. Enter at your own risk it should say on the door…

Bad food. My wife ordered something here that had the wire mesh they use to clean pots inside the food. Good thing she noticed or it could of been lethal. Definitely not recommended

Eh, I don’t like what i see on their menu. My usual and only order from here is shredd chicken and pineapple fried rice. Im a sucker pineapples and this dish made it happen. The fried rice is very flavorful, different from anywhere else.

Shitty, shitty, Legendary Fail !!! Nothing memorable about this steak house. Came 2wks ago n decided to get their t-bone steak although other patrons were ordering Asian dishes. We decided to give it a try since name of restaurant seems like they specialize in steaks. Boy, we were totally wrong! Based on waitress recommendations, I got my t-bone with garlic sauce n Hun got one with pepper sauce. Ewwww the sauces tasted like it came from a can of gravy. My dog’s food looks better than that! With mine they just added garlic n his just added grounded up black pepper. Besides that 2x I had to make them reheat my sizzling platter to cook my steak to my requested temperature. In normal rest., they would remake ur order to par but this joint kept on reheating plate n told me to wait til it cooks more, while I’m watching my Hun attempts his. The quality of beef was the lowest grade I ever saw. They didn’t even bother trimming the fat and cartilage. Plus we were using the dullest knives ever. As far as ambience, the booth we sat in was dirty and scraped up. The only thing we enjoyed was our beverages which was a can of coke n bubble tea. My tea was ok not good or great because bubbles were over cooked and somehow lost its chewy texture. All in all worst place I ever visited and will stick to just going to pathmark and make a steak at home. I’m warning u my fellow foodies, save your $, and ur health!!! Def not worth it!!! PS– only reason this joint gets a star is cuz with out it I cannot post this review!

The Portuguese baked chicken or pork chop over rice is not good here, the sauce looked and tasted like some sort of Kraft cheese mixture topped with coconut. The meat was very fatty and not satisfying. Hopefully there are other good things on this menu because they said this was the most popular. I have had a lot of better baked dishes elsewhere – this was definitely not one of the best. Sat in one of the booths and couldn’t help but feel like everything was dirty. I know this is a Chinese café but still, there were layers of dust coating the lamps that just hovered over our food. Very unsettling and not to mention unappetizing.

The food was very good when it first opened few years ago but I could tell its going downhill. The baked curry chicken rice used to be my all time favorite but I was so disappointed the last few times I tried it.

The first time I came here was actually pretty decent. Came here for my friends birthday. My meal was just okay. Had baked salmon over rice. I was slight disappointed that it had bones in it… they could’ve took the meat out from a different part so you avoided the bones… Their drinks would probably be the best thing you can possibly order. I loved the yogurt drink with aloe. It was delish the thing that complimented my night. My friends also had yummy drinks too so it was delightful. My second time coming back, hoping the food was going to be better maybe. Okay, even though this place is some how called steakhouse you DONOT order steak. Their steak tasted ridiculous so keep in mind you rather order noodles or baked dishes to be on the safe side. There was also a roach I saw on the other end, felt disgusted and the waitress didn’t do much. Gotta say this place is dirty! No wonder it’s C rated!

Couple years ago, I used to live few blocks away from this restaurant, and always wanted to tried it. However, because the place never have much business(they have ceiling high glasses you can see from outside) so it seems iffy to tried. Today, my friend chose this place for a catch up dinner, so I finally get a chance to try their food. To my surprise, their price is not really that expensive like some people say. Most of the rice/noodle dishes are between 4 – 7 dollars, and the casserole and chef special are around 8 dollars. Now their portion is quite big, so I think the price is actually pretty reasonable in my opinion. In terms of the quality, the food I have ordered are very tasty, and both my friend and I were very satisfy(both of us are from Hong Kong, and they serve HK style food). The Fried Pork Chop with BBQ sauce over rice was cooked perfect, very juicy pork with crispy outside. The Beef Chow Fun I ordered was tasty also(and I think anyone who wanna try should def get hot sauce on the side), not too greasy(which is a common problem of this dish) not too salty. To be fair, I think this is a nice place to have a meal with friend or family. They also have all kinds of HK style appetizers, and of course if you have 20 bucks and feel like to splurge on steak HK style(which i think is a reasonable price, also comes with drinks, soup, steak, spaghetti etc). Overall, I would come here again.

The décor are nice. The servers are efficient. The price are cheap. Portions are huge. The food are A-OK. Not exactly something worth remembering. Just normal food with exceptional portion to fill your hunger. FYI — Coffee are those 3-in-1 off the packet stuff. And never order them toasts, it’s just not that nice.

This place used to be SOO much better. Service is pretty bad. Food is mediocre at best now. This sucks because they used to be so fresh but now it’s ‘blah.‘ And I can’t believe that they forgot to add the sugar in the bubble tea when I got take out. So I was drinking ‘water’. :(

Ordered the steak combo, t-bone steak. they messed up my order and gave me the sirloin instead. Steak was okay, what I expected from most hk style restaurants that serve steak. Russian borche soup was good but a little over salted, and the milk tea was great. My table also ordered fried udon, tasteless. We were also placed in the table at the far back. Very poor ventilation, air doesn’t really reach back there, terrible spot for a hot summer day. Service wasn’t as bad as stated in other reviews, actually felt they were quite friendly.

Their bubble tea here is on POINT. lorddd. The bubbles are very chewy and sweet and the milk tea here is shaken so it’s frothy and delicious. I came here for the first time on a Tuesday and ordered the lunch special, pepper chicken over rice for $ 6.25? The chicken was really savory along with the sauce. I’m actually pretty surprised this place is good. I was always reluctant to come into there because of their«c» rating but the food does the rating no justice at all. Good eats, if you’re able to walk into a «c» rating restaurant that is… Maybe, just maybe they’ll get their act together and move that«c» into a B. One thing though, the booths they have in this restaurant are really awkward. If the restaurant was in a full house environment, wouldn’t the waitresses bump into each other because of the tight booths blocking the walking space? Maybe they should re arrange this place a bit better. The food here is decently priced and can match up to HK tea and Sushi’s a block down.

Very well decorated, seems like they actually hired a interior designer. But don’t judge a book by its cover, I had a not so pleasant experience here the first time. I mean the food was okay and of course I had the steak but later on the night my stomach paid for it. I said to myself I’m not coming here again. A few months passed and I was with a bunch of friends and were deciding what to have for dinner, after much debate we decided to try this place again. I said to myself maybe it was a fluke and it might have been something I ate during lunch the last time. So I listened to my friends and caved in. But boy was that a mistake. I should of trusted my gut. No coincidence here, my stomach hurt yet again later on that night. I don’t enjoy giving places a bad review but I would definitely not recommend this place. I will not let anyone talk me into eating at this place again. I will not let anyone talk me into eating at this place again. I will not let anyone talk me into eating at this place again.(Sorry about that, but I just had to.)

I could vaguely remember what I had ordered at the time but it must of been so terrible that I have no recollection. Oddly enough, I found the bubble tea to be pretty good… milky, frothy and with just the right amount of tapioca.

Their dishes earn them a solid 4-star rating, but their customer service is 2-stars only. The woman seemed to not understand what I was saying(whether I spoke English or Chinese) and service was quite slow. We got 1 baked chicken over spaghetti, 1 rock-fish over fried rice bake, curry fish balls and chicken on a stick. The curry fish balls was my favorite because the curry was very rich and creamy. The consistency was a bit weird though because it reminded me of curry that I have laid out for 20 – 30 minutes after it cooled down and not the liquidy density of when it is freshly prepared and served. Nonetheless, it still tasted great. Chicken on a stick was pretty good,(portion is definitely on smaller-end), but they are well-marinated. Sad pieces of veggies on the side though. I really enjoyed the baked chicken over spaghetti and rock-fish over fried rice bakes — the latter being my preferred. So many wonderful flavors, make sure to eat while they are hot. I also ordered a toast with butter & condensed milk and they didn’t make it properly so I requested a little more condensed milk on the side. This request earned me eye rolls and sighs. Prices are great and I will definitely return in the future. It wasn’t overly crowded on a Sunday afternoon around noon — very thankful for that because all the dim sum places in the area packed to the brim.

First time I went there and I found a large fly in my noodle soup. When I told the waiter he just asked me if I wanted another bowl and I said no. Of course, he didn’t bother taking it off the check. I decided to give the place another shot. Ordered the curry beef and a noodle dish. Both were bland. Won’t be going back.

This place used to be a lot better, but I think they were plagued by staff turnover. When it opened, it was constantly packed and you had to wait 20 minutes for a table. Now, I haven’t had to wait in months, so I guess that reflects how far its fallen. Don’t come here expecting authentic Hong Kong style food; don’t come here expecting purely American food. Just take it as what it is, and you’ll be fine. For the longest time, they had the best curry(it was rich and creamy), but the quality’s gone downhill. The baked Portuguese style chicken over rice is a mainstay that’s consistently good. But my favorite part of this place is the iced coffee they have. They make it with some special mixer that shakes it up really well and makes it really frothy. Only other problem is inconsistent temperatures depending on where you sit. I’ve been here in the summer and the A/C was blasting directly at our table and we were freezing. I was here in the winter and it was really, really warm in one of the booths in the upper dining section.

*disappointed by their appetizers. The wings, curry fishballs, and fried wontons were just alright for me. *EXTREMELY disappointed by their entrees. The spaghetti. Oh my. Not sure what went wrong but the taste was funky. *my friend ordered the porkchop and gave up after just three bites. *my friend NEVER gives up on food. *until now.

Came here last year with some friends for bubble tea and their tapioca is not fresh and the drinks are not made well enough because it’s very watery. My friend wanted to go this past weekend and I decided to give it another chance. She wanted the Horlick drink, They were out of it!. She wanted Ovaltine and they said they were out of that too. This was at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered a Coconut milk tea with Tapioca… and not surprisingly, same results. Just not fresh at all. We got the baked rice with chicken and curry. The dish was okay. And we also got singapore mai fun which tasted very bland. The rice dish with Chicken did come with a lot of good chicken pieces though. So i’ll bump this from a 1 star to a 2. Much better selections on 86th street, avoid if possible in my opinion.
