I’m not sure why this place has such bad reviews. People being extremely picky probably. The food is good, quick, and cheap. I have only dined in and I got my food less than 10 minutes after ordering. If you’re not a picky eater and want to save some money, then go here.

Don’t go here. The phở was soooo flavorless. Make the trip to a better Viet restaraunt and don’t waste your money here.

Legitimately authentic bahn mi sandwiches. It’s difficult to get bread served spot-on like they do it here.

My first time here after walking by many times. My review is based on their baked rice dishes. It is very good, despite the bad Unilocal reviews, I gave this place a shot. Happy I did because there’s not many good authentic Chinese/HK places in this area. I will try other dishes next time. Problem is owners are not fitting into the hood. .they play HK pop star music and watches HK Chinese drama on his ipad when place is not busy. I don’t think it suits this area. Maybe OK in flushing or Chinatown..

Terrible, this place is the worst. They give you no broth with the Phở and the noodles are all over cooked and broken. Really go to any place on Manhattan Ave than this place. They don’t care about the quality because they realize no one will ever return the food. This place is crap, really it’s terrible. When I say terrible I’m trying to be nice. It’s really really crap

I’m sick of this place’s terrible delivery service. We went from ordering lunch here about once a week, but now the food is coming 45 minutes to an hour late, which is about 1:30−2 hours after we ordered. It ruins our entire lunch break, and messes up with our work schedule. There’s like 3 dozen vietnamese restaurants in the area, just order someone else like how we’re learning to.

Ordered for delivery. HORRIBLE. The delivery was almost 2 hours late. And the food was disgusting. «Extra veggies» was ONE broccoli, raw. The chicken dumplings were RAW inside, the Vietnamese chicken was dry, the noodles in the soup were just all stuck together, and the meat clearly a few days old. You could taste the MSG all over the food, and we felt sick to our stomachs. Nope nope nope.

Great to order in from! I ordered in Phở it was around $ 10. I wanted soup to cure the winter blues and it did the trick! Filling, tasty, came in a timely manner. I would 100% order again!

Dear Lollipop, Please be better! I could say that this place sucks and you shouldn’t go, but I really want it to be good as its the only vietnamese place in Greenpoint where I live. Please learn how to make Phở Bo properly. Anyone who writes positive reviews here, hasn’t had vietnamese food. Its not very hard, you are a dedicated vietnamese restaurant. Try going to Mama Phở and copying what they do. You need a) better broth b) better beef. but literally you could google this and it would come out well. you’re business will boom if you nail this… please please learn how to do it. I will personally send my self and all of my friends in the neighborhood here. I will pay for your samples at mama phở. thanks! you please feel free to comment for further feedback

This place is cheap and the people who work there are way too nice! I mean it’s not gourmet or anything, but hey that’s the price you pay for. as for the bubble tea, it can be better.

Phõ Amazing!!! They don’t even sell lollipops but it is BYOB and a nice warm up off the strip. We had chicken phõ, I went with a friend and his wife and a buddy, they put me and my buddy’s checks together as if we were a couple but we weren’t _ It made for a tasty evening and a good story

I was very surprised to find really good food at this spot. We were in the area and trying to find a decent spot to have a quick bite. Decided to try this place as I was craving Banh Mi. This place is small and no frills. I think most of the people get the food to go from here. I had the chicken banh mi and my friends had the salad with Banh Mi’s. Trust me that Banh Mi was so tasty and it was just 5 – 6 bucks. It had flavor, decent amount of meat and rightly made. I was surprised at the cost. Same banh mi would have been over 10 bucks in manhattan. Don’t worry about the looks of this spot, food is pretty good out here. Will definitely check it out when I am in the area again.

It is a local Greenpoint sandwich spot. I like it, tho I personally don’t understand stand about the other reviews. My personal experience is nice. Staff is nice, the food is fairly good for a tight budget, and their sandwiches are good. It takes a few minutes for em to make it but that’s worth it.

Just finished puking up the last remnants of bad pork I had from here. I knew it tasted a little funky, but thought it should be ok. DONOTGOHERE.

A bit inconsistent. I usually get the special sliced pork sandwich and usually it is on fresh bread and the meat is delicious and the veggies are fresh. Today wasn’t such a good day but I’ve gotten this sandwich many times and this is the first time it wasn’t great. Greenpoint has no other Vietnamese places so this is my go-to place. It’s also pretty cheap. I hope they stick around!

I am thoroughly satisfied. All the haters pipe down. While the phở varieties are minimal, they are suffice. I got phở’d up here(beef) on a nice rainy day. Also ordered a meatball bahn mi that was solid. It’s not the same as going to Amherst in Queens but it beats the schlep to the city for sub par phở and bahn mi. Here’s the deal, the menu has variety. They have the ingredients. And while nothing is the best version I’ve had, they deliver satisfaction in Greenpoint. Better than par, three stars!

I’m just happy to have Vietnamese in this too Polish-Hipster coffee joints neighborhood. Yea it’s not amazing, but I am happy to have this place. They have phở noodles which are ok, not bad. Bahn mi is ok, too. Nothing else to say really.

Not that I specialize in Vietnamese cooking, But, I truly feel I can make better food in my kitchen. I tried their«banh mi» sandwich. The carrots and cilantro lacked flavor and tasted dry, as if they were sitting in the fridge for a while. The meat itself possessed a rubber consistency I would compare erasers with. All in all, I’m not trying to ruin their livelihood, but this should not be the way you try to feed a community. Their only positive would be their grilled chicken(also available in a sandwich). If I had to go there again that would be the only thing I would order. Another bright spot to this place is the girl behind the counter was sweet and very helpful navigating their menu.

Awful bubble tea. The tapioca is hard, old… They should be ashamed for selling old tapioca to customers for the price they charge. This crap is strictly for the dumb hipsters who can’t tell the difference between fresh tapioca and week old tapioca. We went right around noon time, the entire joint was empty, quiet. NOBUSINESS, do yourself a favor and just close before you get somebody sick! Verdict — 1 size only, and I think it was $ 3.75! Horrible pricing! By far the worst quality of tapioca I have ever tasted. If I was the owner, I would close shop immediately. They sure have some nerves to continue serving week old tapioca to customers. I also highly doubt health inspectors can distinguish what’s bad and what’s good tapioca. If you want better tasting bubble tea, you gotta goto a more oriental area such as China Town, Flushing, Elmhurst. Bubble Tea in Williamsburg suck!

Late nite I headed through here on my way to parts unknown. Saturday night and you need a snack before partying. I grabbed a nice veggie vermicelli and was pleasantly surprised they could pull it off well. Quick service and easy to grab a seat for as long as you like. Cheap & good food. Will be sure to go back.
