Lotus Brooklyn

The guys at this place used to work at another salon a few blocks over and they were great. I hadn’t been to them in a while because I found another salon that I really liked but unfortunately closed down so I had to come back to them. I came for a small trim and style in December. I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted (the same guy who I always went to before) and he BUTCHERED my hair. First he kept insisting to color my roots even though I repeatedly told him I didn’t want to and when I said a small trim to cut off the split ends, he cut chunks off. I even showed him a picture of what I wanted and it looked NOTHING like it. I kept telling him he was making it too short but he kept insisting on how sexy it was going to look and he was just evening out the sides. I told him several times to stop cutting it and was nearly in tears by the end. Then he had the audacity to give me his card for me to call for future appointments. If he really thinks that a client who complained about what he was doing and almost started crying is going to book anymore appointments with him, he is even more ridiculous and awful than I thought.

This is a nice salon. I usually went to Fernando but since he left Frenk has taken over and he’s really nice and does a great job Everyone there is nice and talented. Great prices.

THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD!!! i have really long hair, and it took me 3 years to make them long, i needed just to get a little shape and cut dead ends. and i can’t belive WHAT DID THE GUY!!!- the owner of this salon! turkish guy. (can’t even call him STYLIST! just handicapt! sorry!) Though i explained everything clearly and said that want to cut a little bit! The ruined my hair, was really rude and not gentle! when i tried to stop him, sitting almost crying, he just said– very sexy, your husband will love it! i came out from there CRYING! and my husband had to whipe my tears! SPEND MY MONEY FOR NOTHING! CAN’T LOOK AT THE MIRROR! HORRIBLE JOB– not accurate, asymmetric, as a child cut my hair! NOT RECCOMEND ANYONE!!≠,(((

Not sure why anyone hasn’t written a review for this place but I love it! I went here for the first time a year ago on a suggestion of a friend and I love it. I usually go to Freddy (Ferdi? Not sure how to pronounce his name) and get a haircut, roots and half head of highlights and it’s $ 100! I get sooo many compliments. After trying numerous salons over the years I will never let anyone else touch my hair so help me God lol
