I was heading back from Coney Island and needed some grub. The 36th St. station is one of those rare 3-train merging points. I hopped out to check the street-side food situation and found there to be a taco shop. Yay. It’s barely that… and tiny joint with a few basic tables and a bar with no drinks. The hostess was nice as can be, but was passive and needed prompting. That said, my trio of tacos were really good. Al Pastor, Carne Asada and Carne Enchilada are my test items. They passed with flying colors. Each taco was brimming with meat. A nice value. It would merit an extra star if they put some effort into the actual eatery, which was hole-in-wall meets Mariachi karaōke. Definitely a dive. Don’t go there to propose. Do go there to have a taco when in the neighborhood.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Brooklyn, NY
Rolled in here just prior to midnight on a Saturday. Was craving me some carne enchilada(spicy pork) tacos and needed my fix. They spent 10 minutes getting 4 of them ready for me and the Mr. … and they were obviously made with love. The tacos were huge and full(that’s what she said) and they packed my limes separate. The tacos were spicy, yet not overwhelming. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 stars is because it was definitely an eye sore inside. For me décor does matter — especially if I plan on sitting in an eating and not taking them to go. I’ll be back for seconds! —- *Cash only. **$ 2 tacos!!!
