Midwood Ambulance Service

This private ambulance service is top notch. My family has used them many times for discharges from the hospital, or hospital tranfers. The crews are always well mannered and look professional. They have some of the cleanest ambulances I have ever seen. If you call them for an emergency they will try and take you to the hospital of your choice, instead of the closest hospital like 911. I highly recommend them.

This is a top notch service I had used them many times for myself. They have the latest equipment and are trained buy the best in the business. And take all coverage. I could not feel any safer.

If you or a loved one are in need of an ambulance, please do not — repeat, DO NOT — call these incompetent idiots.
Here’s what happened to us at the hands of these morons, all in one awful evening.
1. Called ambulance to transport my elderly disabled mother & her caregiver to a nearby assisted living facility for a week’s stay (during household renovations). Arrival was prompt. 1^st disquieting symptom was that the subnormal attendant insisted on putting my mom on a gurney, totally unnecessary, as every other ambulance or ambulette service we’ve used has carried her down to the curb in her wheelchair.
2. Though the attendants said they’d transport mom’s wheelchair in the ambulance, they suddenly changed their minds & insisted that I transport it in the back of my van. One of the morons seemingly attempted to stuff the wheelchair into the enormous storage space of my van, but complained he was unable to do it because the space was too full. He monkeyed around a bit more & then said all would be OK if I slammed the rear hatch shut real hard. I got out of the car, walked to the rear & saw that the attendant’s grasp of the situation was inferior to that of a chimpanzee. All I needed to do to make room for the wheelchair was to move 2 small lightweight bags.
3. The same moron who couldn’t put the wheelchair into the van got lost on the way to the facility. We had to stop & turn around with me taking the lead because these bumbling idiots were incapable even of remembering an address.
Bottom Line: I think Midwood Ambulance should have their license revoked or be fined & constrained to employ only attendants of at least normal intelligence. NO MORE MORONS!
