So I ordered the mashed sweet potatoes and Juniper whole chicken. The mashed sweet potatoes was alright. It was mashed all the way and soft. As for the whole chicken it was a bit under-cooked. There was even blood shown next to the bone joint(always a bad sign). The chicken needed thorough seasoning everywhere. I cant eat meat without adequate seasoning. I had to cook the chicken in the oven so it can be properly cooked and that I can be satisfied. I will not order from here again.

I hesitate to review this amazing yoga class for fear I’ll never get a spot again! The candlelight dharma class last night was completely perfect. The teacher met each student where they were at and customized the class as much as she was able. Her energy was super lovely and I left exhausted, relaxed and super happy with my experience. I liked the overall vibe there very much. Thanks, Mountain.

Food is good. Nice, healthy options. Its really expensive though. The prices seem reasonable, but portions are very small for the price.

Ive only ordered delivery. The food is really good but the portions are way too small for the price. I really hope that they reassess their price points.

The food sounded amazing and I was very excited to try it. I ordered a black bean burger to go – seemed to take them a long time to make, and when i got it, it was soooo drowned in mayo i could barely eat it.

The brewed coffee is great! I feel like the vibe is kinda weird or maybe just not my thing, but if you want a seriously flavorful rich drip coffee this place rules. Be prepared to spend close to $ 3 for a 12oz cup though.

Their brownies are probably the most delicious brownies i’ve ever had in my life. Sweet and moist with little pieces of either espresso beans or cocoa beans, mmm! Their chicken soup is also pretty delicious and healthy. My only complaint(besides once getting my frittata with a practically irremovable layer of parchment paper on the bottom) is that its just way too expensive to rationalize getting a snack or latte from them more than once a week. Their tiny $ 4.50 lattes are beyond manhattan prices. And though they are delicious, I’m not sure they’re worth the price in this neighborhood. Would be a 5⁄5 if they were slightly more reasonably priced.

Two and a half HOURS, and I still have yet to receive my order. I called and they told me it was already on its way an hour ago. I called again now, and it’s closed…

I absolutely love Mountain. I see Tom for acupuncture. It’s healing, regenerative and restores my serenity. The food and herbs are incredible as well. I adore the oatmeal with honey and milk. Do yourself a favor and run, not walk to this establishment. They are absolutely wonderful and I recommend them to everyone I know.

I went trekked to the Mountain through the big snow yesterday and it was so worth it. First, I had acupuncture for an injured ankle and neck(terrible trampoline injury, don’t ask) with Tom McCauley, he is like a miracle worker! I could feel the energy shooting out of my swollen foot and today I could go to the gym! Then I had their delicious, Tonifying, chicken soup, filled with yummy-goodness and a great, filling dish for a 11 $ bowl. I helped with the kickstarter, but living in Williamsburg, felt too daunted by the travel to go until now, when I desperately needed the acupuncture. It was well worth it!

This is for a delivery order. I had high hopes for some healthy wintry food when I ordered from Mountain. However, the food arrived late and very cold. I was also shocked at how small the portions were for what I paid. They were also not exactly as described– I felt that cheaper fillers were used to flesh out the already paltry portions. For example, the«seasonal root vegetable’ was a tiny container of all potatoes and maybe one tiny slice of a beet for $ 6. Maybe some of their other services are better, but I will not be ordering again.

Beaten down by a nightmarish head cold, I came here for the 1st time for a bowl of the Tonifying Chicken Soup(a friend’s recommendation). This will now be my go-to dish when I need a body/soul boost. The ingredients were fresh and gorgeous to the eye and the palate(rainbow chard!). The flavors complemented each other perfectly: rich yet refreshing, hearty yet herbaceous. I only wish I wasn’t congested so I could taste the full range of flavors. For $ 11, this was more than a filling meal — it was a lifesaver.

Fantastic spot. Great food, great sincere atmosphere. Stands apart from the typical NYC café. Eveything is done with care and is of high quality. And the PIE… !

I ordered catering from Mountain in Crown Heights for a breakfast meeting and my experience was nothing short of wonderful! It’s rare to find a place that has creative options for everyone’s taste and dietary needs. I usually don’t expect to eat much besides fruit from most breakfast caterers but Mountain had a filling, delicious quinoa muffin topped with coconut shreds that’s vegan. A few of our gluten intolerant guests were pleasantly surprised that they were GF as well. We also ordered mountain granola, yogurt, and a bright fruit bowl of sliced apples, pears, oranges, and elderberries. The pricing was very reasonable, especially for a kitchen that bases its dishes on organic, local, and seasonal ingredients. Mountain puts a lot of care in their food and it really shows!

This place is just fantastic. They have options for vegans, but still serve chicken & lamb and on top of that they have great soup. In short, something for everyone. The people who own it work there and the guy is a great cook. In addition, they serve breakfast and have great coffee. Plus if you’re looking for an acupuncture treatment, you can get that they are too. The space is really nice. It is cozy and well lit but casual. Finally, I get the sense that they care about you.

I really wanted to love this place as I was waiting for it to open since I saw their kickstarter and live close by. Pros: –wide range of services(café, restaurant, healing center). –magenta ginseng juice is delicious. Heard the frittata was great from my friend. Cons: –too expensive! Everything should be about 20% less, from the cappuccino, to the juice, to the services(e.g. Massages). They’re even expensive by Manhattan price standards. — the green juice was really bitter and I like green juice. Friend shared it and said the same. Needs another ingredient to round out the flavor. I may try it again, but I hope they lower the prices.

I was looking for lunch on Franklin and I was very pleased to find Mountain across from the B48 bus stop, a couple of blocks south of Eastern Parkway. Kale Salad, Koshari and cool tea for just $ 18. It was all delicious, served without much of a wait.

Super happy this place popped up in the neighborhood. The inside is clean and warm and everyone working there has been very nice each time I’ve been there. The latte I had, however, was lukewarm and not very good. Plus, it was $ 4.50. It’s a bit too pricey.

Refillable coffee. Nice and quiet. Acupuncture! Local produce and interesting food options. Making me too excited to write in complete sentences.
