Not your typical deli. But the sandwiches are tops. I’ve come back for the corned beef several times, and I’m not a big meat eater

Great pastrami sandwich. Nice touch of mustard on it. It wasnt fatty at all and just full of flavor. These guys obviously know how to make sandwiche. I am a pretty tough critic(check my reviews) and this place hits the spot. The server/cashier alwas very nice and attentive as well.

Just moved back home to Dyker Heights after 15 years in Gravesend. Was dying to try this place and it was well worth it! I ordered through GrubHub and set myself up with the 3-way combo sandwich, fries and coleslaw. It was awesome! The meats were fresh and tender, the fries were seasoned and crispy and the slaw was homemade with just the right mix or sweet and tang. I would definitely order from here again and would recommend it to anyone who loves good BBQ/deli style meats.

By far the best brisket, pastrami and corn beef sandwiches I’ve ever had! Everything is fresh and lean! Can’t go wrong with the combination sandwiches:-) you’ll get to try two for the price of one. Everyone that works there is super friendly and nice. My co-worker once ordered a burger and said it was awesome! I’ll take her word but I love the corn beef:-) I highly recommend this place.

Had the brisket and pastrami sandwich. Generous amounts of meats, juicy, delicious! Also quick delivery and great service. They ran out of the egg salad, couldn’t reach me on the phone, so they brought me potato salad, and offered to refund me, or go back to the store and bring something else!

If you want a personal brisket experience, this is the place! It was late in the evening and my little family piled in to try this place for the first time. It was absolutely fantastic! We had the corned beef sandwich, the brisket sandwich, and they offered us a wonderful sizable sample of the pastrami which our 2 year old loved! Kind and friendly men, who certainly deserve your business. :)

One of the best pastrami sandwiches you will have in Brooklyn! The pastrami melts in your mouth! It is so delicious, I had to write a Unilocal review! The server was so wonderful, he even gave us 2 freshly made peanut butter cupcakes free as dessert. I would highly recommend any pastrami lover in Brooklyn to try this place!

Awesome Sandwiches, mouthwatering pastrami is my favorite here. Kats met its match. I used to love going to Kats, but it being over-priced and uncomfortable environment made me switch to this Brooklyn convenient spot. Staff are real cool, the brick walls make you feel right at home, and the food is too good to explain in words. You haven’t tried pastrami, brisket, or corned beef like this before.

I used to eat here often when it was David’s. The sandwiches were great. Since the new owners have taken over, I’ve been here twice. Once for Pastrami and once for Corned Beef and I can tell that the quality of the food has gone down. Very fatty. The staff are friendly however. I doubt that I will return.

Found this place by searching for«best sandwiches In Brooklyn» on Google. Went today and we got a corned beef sandwich, brisket sandwich, potato salad, and french fries. Food was really good and the homemade lemonade was the perfect blend of sweetness and refreshment. We will definitely return are very happy we found a place so close to home.

We stopped by for lunch last Sunday. We got a scare — the storefront had been renamed from«David’s» to «My Brisket House.» It turned out not to be a problem. The inside looked the same, the staff was the same, and the pastrami remains terrific. Just perfect. Moist, delicious, perfectly spiced. Their rye bread is much better than that gummy crap they serve at Katz’s. The $ 12 medium pastrami — This place is a gem and deserves our support. I think a point needs to be made about prices. Yes, the prices at this place have gone up a bit over the last couple of years. So has the price of meat in general. Walk into any supermarket and you can confirm this. To expect a place like this to keep their prices the same in spite of rising costs isn’t realistic. When food costs rise a restaurant has 3 choices — * Use a cheaper supplier and let the quality go down. * Reduce the portion size. * Raise prices proportionately and keep the quality and portion sizes the same. My Brisket House has chosen number 3. I applaud them for this — they did the right thing.

I kept hearing about their massive burgers from my husband and decided to give it a try with some of my friends. Atmosphere– cool, calm, and collective Bathroom– decent Food– they had a good selection of burgers– I asked for well done and I sure got it– it was a lil on the dry side so if u want it a bit juicer– I guess you would have to ask them well done on the easy side or something The fries were yummy — nice and big just like the burger Overall — I would eat hear again but I’ll make sure I say I want my burger juicer than the usual well done. Oh and I got the bacon cheddar burger — the bacon was the highlight!

If your heart and stomach can take it, the Brooklyn Cheesesteak sandwich at David’s Brisket House may be the very best sandwich you’ve ever had. Their brisket is excellent– tender and juicy with just the right amount of fat. It’s flavorful and pretty good itself without the big piece of bread the sandwich is built upon. I’m not a big meat eater and probably wouldn’t go out of my way to go to David’s Brisket House again but if you are into meat, by all means support this business over and over again. Their pastrami also looks very promising. The Brooklyn Cheesesteak sandwich is hefty and perfectly sized for sharing. The sandwich is huge in every aspect. The meat is piled high, the bread is firm and sops up the cheese and grease without going soggy or flat, and the sandwich is flavored with a generous portion of grilled onions. It also comes with some serious pickles. Be prepared to walk out with leftovers or a belly if you don’t share this sandwich. The restaurant is simple. There is a counter where you place your order and pick up take out. There are a few tables to sit at. The beverages are serve yourself from the fridge. If you buy lemonade, it comes in those giant plastic containers(like the ones for soup from the Chinese restaurants). Also, the restaurant is always cooking so be prepared to be in a smoky and smelly place. It doesn’t smell bad, you will just leave with your clothes smelling like food.

I have absolutely glowing remarks for this sandwich shop from the start. While David’s Brisket House specializes in brisket, the real winner here is the award-winning, absolute best corned beef and pastrami this side of Brooklyn. An extension of the original David’s Brisket House in Bed-Stuy(you’ll definitely want to visit that too), I’ve followed the story and was a fan soon after they first opened in Bay Ridge. I’ve been here several times, and never disappointed. As most can attest, I love meat, and this place is no exception. They have just about any combo you can think of as any Kosher-style deli would only they’re not Jewish, they’re very much Muslim as they also close shop in time for prayer(check your watch if you plan to go around those times). The pastrami by itself is sublime, as is the corned beef. Together on rye or a roll, heavenly! I’ve done that and had a side of small fries too.(Yes, I’m a glutton, punish me!) You get to choose different size sandwiches too. You’re not forced into choosing the Gi-normous servings that others have you reluctantly deciding on because it’s the New York touristy thing to do. Yes, I’m talking specifically about Katz and Carnegie! The coup de grace is the lemonade. You have a choice of pink or regular, either way you can’t go wrong. You get a full pint and then some! The décor isn’t much to waste time describing. It is deli-like, but you’re really here for the food. Focus on that. The staff are also thoughtful and well-versed in the art of meat sandwiches. If you decide that’s not for you, there are also philly cheesesteaks you could sink your teeth into but that would constitute a crime in my books. Would you go to a steakhouse for a burger or fish? Exactly. Challenge accepted: The next time I return, I’ll be participating in the«Three-the-Hard-Way» challenge… 9 minutes to eat a sandwich that includes brisket, corned beef, and pastrami. Extra: If you’re a foodie, watch the video on Serious Eats, and read up on their features on NY Times, and Village Voice. You’ll want to hop in your car or the train and get there right after that.
