Nice quiet diner. Large selections on the menu and it’s $ 3 less if u dine withing 5pm to closing. Great service and good price.

I had no issue with service. The older man who seated me was friendly. The server barely made eye contact but I didn’t have to wait very long for anything which honestly is more important to me. HOWEVER, the food was not very good. I ordered a bacon burger triple sandwich and it was so dry, I couldn’t eat it. The beef patty was tough and rubbery. Fries were okay and the pickle was good. Actually the pickle was the best thing on the plate. That’s pretty sad.

We arrived on the train from DC and were hungry. This place fit the bill. It’s not fancy, but it fulfills expectation of a diner. Very friendly and fast service. Tasty food. Whit you’d expect from a diner. We are going back for breakfast tomorrow.

We’re in town visiting relatives and friends. We had breakfast the previous morning in the hotel which was miserable. Cold, oily and ill prepared. But I digress. This morning we had eggs Benedict. The food was delivered hot, fast and the order was correct! The eggs were perfectly cooked and the hollandaise was spot on. The English muffin was not the brand you’d find in a store but it looked like either they make it or it is made for them. I had fries with breakfast and they were very good also. The only negative was the knife and fork were pretty cheap but we made do. If you are looking for China plates and sterling silver flatware, move on. If you want a delicious breakfast for a reasonable price delivered hot this is a diner for you.

Definitely a decent diner with good seating, atmosphere, bathrooms and menu. Service is pretty good and it’s right near Kings Civil court. Works for a quick lunch and they’d likely let you charge your phone if you’ve got an iPhone.

Tasteless food and staff not really interested in their jobs. Went there twice, unhappy with the experience both times. Green peppers in all of the egg based foods and the lox for bagels where frozen.

Steer clear. poor quality food, did not honor order specifications, WAY overpriced for what you get.

This is a dinner. The menu has the usual sorts of dinner food. Open face sandwiches, pastrami, burgers, pasta etc. Open well lit space with the usual banquettes along the wall. The service is quick and the food was perfectly fine for a quick brunch, dinner or lunch without the wait. Simple as that.

Each time I come here I have an amazingly large & delicious meal! The food always comes fast & it’s very fresh. I usually come for breakfast with my boyfriend and we’ve never had to wait to be seated. The waiters are so attentive, your drinks are never empty & they make sure you have everything you need. Breakfast food is probably what this place does best — the omelettes are what I usually get — and they come out in less than 10 minutes each time. I’ve also tried the pancakes which were good but as sad as it sounds IHOP holds a special place in my

I had the BBQ salmon salad and French fries with a friend here as we grabbed a quick bite before shopping in Fulton mall. It is a typical diner with typical diner food. The servers were friendly and accommodating. We had a slice of carrot cake for dessert that was okay. No wow factor but I do have to say the salmon was very good and tasted fresh. I enjoyed the barbecue sauce on it as well which I have never paired together myself but worked in this. I also enjoyed the salad since it had these green leaves I can’t remember the name of that look similar to watercress and are very good for you. If I was around the area I would come back for a quick bite.

For starters I really didn’t like the fact that the guy who looked to be an owner or manager told me I had to order something to use the bathroom. I know this is customary for some businesses, that’s understandable but even after informing him that I will be dining in he said«you have to order first». Would’ve gave atleast another star because I’ve been here several times and I like the food here but that was just ridiculous! In my opinion it was like I was being called a liar! They are very attentive here and the same manager looking dude did come around to check on me later on which I love when I’m dining out!

Pretty gross… poorly cooked eggs, rubbery sausage, weak coffee, and soggy french toast. There’s too many good brunch places in the area to give this place a second chance.

My church is around the corner from here and thats the only reason i paid this place any mind. On Sundays theres a huge crowd so don’t bother trying to get in. I sit down and and I’m served right away. The food is always delicious to me and the service is shaky. Sometimes you get a good server and other times you get someone angry looking. My server was attentive and filled my tea cup as soon as i drank the majority of it. My sandwich came out and the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. The bread was toasted lightly and it did NOT scrape the roof of my mouth. i dislike hard bread. The bacon was a bit scarce, i like to SEE my bacon when i eat a BLT! Other than that i like to stop by here when I’m in the neighborhood.

Was in Brooklyn for work after having missed breakfast. Went to New Apollo where id been before. They have a lot of build your own breakfast options. I had an omelette. They had over a dozen options for fillings. Also they have substitution options if you don’t want home fried potatoes. So it’s great to go if you like building your own breakfast. Food is good. Not spectacular.

I love me a little divey diner. I use to work in this area and knew this place was just what I was looking for at the early hours of the morning after a bender! It’s just that super cheap and guilty pleasure the stomach craves. I am not a party animal but when I do stay out past my bedtime this is the cure. There was plenty of seating the first time I went. I did happen to go at the crack of dawn. The breakfast special number three is the route I like. Juice, potatoes, 2 eggs(over medium for this chica), toast(rye is what I want) and a good ‘ol cup of coffee. I got plenty of refills. And the cream comes in those tiny little containers. It may not be the best coffee ever or the organic/local route but sometimes you have to get real and get back to your roots. Warning: I came here recently and when church was out the place got bananas and there was even a line forming. I would suggest coming here not during the church breaks.

I usually never write reviews as I’m dining. I typically wait and do them while commuting to work, but this place irked me a little. It’s a Monday morning and decided to take a mental health day off and venture to the gym, then afterwards decided to get a bite to eat at the diner. I browse the menu and opt for choice number three(two eggs, juice, grits, tea, and whole wheat toast) for $ 4.75 sounded like a good deal. The server didn’t seem to welcoming or interested in his job, but hey, maybe he has a case of the Mondays. The food comes out rapidly and I am ready to dig in. I grab for the toast and notice one of the butters on the plate was open and used. I guess they just take condiments from people’s plate and re-use them. My second issue is the food itself, the eggs and the grits are not very good. The grits don’t seem well cooked at all and the eggs are equivalent to McDonalds. All and all, this place needs to work on the customer service and the food. It’s doubtful I will ever return here.

Lapin and I came here on Saturday for breakfast. We were seated right away as the restaurant wasn’t very busy. Lapin ordered the He-man with coffee and I got the 3 egg omlette. The food was okay, just the standard diner fare. Our waiter wasn’t very attentive but that should be expected with most diners. Although, I think he was annoyed that I only ordered an omlette and nothing else. The prices are a bit expensive for a diner but in line for the area. I don’t think I would be rushing to try this place again.

Very good restaurant! I have eaten there twice time. The prices are fair: Not too high, but not too cheap. There is a menu including a salad, a soup, main dinner and desert for $ 16,95. You won’t go home hungry. And everything is housemade.

Don’t go here if you want a true hot meal to go. They will rush your food out quicker than McDonald’s. Bacon egg and cheese sandwiches comes out cold every time. Go to the deli next door for a true warm breakfast sandwich in the morning for half the money and better taste. Bread — rock hard Cheese — straight out the fridge hard Bacon — like a slim jim Eggs — slightly warm but not completely cooked
