I love this place. The mani/pedi’s always last long because they use good products. They’re clean and efficient. I have seen Nina quickly correct her employees about something, and agree that difficult conversations with your team should be done in private. However, it is only with the customer experience in mind. I’ve never seen anything that upset me for her people, and I’m a pretty empathetic person. I highly recommend this place, and truly see a huge difference between this nail salon and the average Brooklyn Nail Salon. Worth a little more $$. Also, I’m pretty sure prices are listed now that they’re not new(they opened in 2012 I think) and have been consistent for me. I’m going today, so if not, I’ll make sure to post a follow-up!

Never received any attitude!!! First time hearing anybody complain. Very clean salon! Polite staff. Prices for spa services should be higher then what they charge. Not cheap with water at all and use disposable tubs. I go there every other week and can’t complain of anything.

1 star it is a lot for this place. Nina and her son will ruin ur time. Her customers and employees hate her! Prices are not listed, she is trying to get as more as possible, very pushy. Couple times I went there for massage, i wanted to relax, it is impossible at that place, all hour Nina was screaming at somebody on the floor or at smb on the phone. first time price was 50 $ second week or 2 later she made it 55. Pedicure here 35 $!!! no listed price! Never ever again. Hope Nina with her attitude soon will learn a lesson that customer service is very important !

My experiences at Nina’s Spa have not been the best. First, Nina is not the nicest person, but she does try to accommodate. Her son, John, however, is the rudest, crudest, and offensive young man that I have ever met. He can become very agitated, to the point of verbal abuse towards customers which make him appear on the verge of violence. Although Nina does try to keep the salon clean. I have seen large bugs crawling in the back near the nail dryers. Last week, one began to climb up my leg… Awful! Also, you need a lot of patience and time for services, because they are amazingly slow in the salon. It is no exaggeration that it can take up to 3 hours for a manicure and pedicure, including drying. I give one star because the manicures are decent, although not worth the amount of time spent. One more thing… Nina does not post prices. The result is that she often gives different prices at different times, and for different people, too. She will post a sign that says, «10% discount,» and when you go to pay, she says that the discount is already included in the price that you have always paid. Really…find a nicer place.
