I’ve been here a few times and each time I’ve had a great experience. First, the staff are VERY nice and easy to deal with. I bought $ 10 worth of chocolates as a gift and the lady was happy to wrap it up with a bow and a card for me. Another time, I bought a lot of individual Godiva chocolates and the lady wrapped it up well. In addition to the chocolates by the pound, LCE also sells gift baskets/boxes that range from $ 10-well over $ 100. They also sell bars and other small items. LCE recently put in tables and chairs, and I’m going to start coming for coffee. Dim lighting, pleasant music, and the smell of chocolate! Sign me up! Wonderful establishment. Classy place.

I haven’t tried their chocolate yet, but they make amazing donuts! They’re cake-y and really delicious. Plus they’re the perfect size! Not too big, not too small. They’re staff are super helpful and very nice, as well. I’ll be back to try some other things like their drinks and truffles.

I go to this small chocolatier every year(since 2005) to buy Godiva for my wife and daughter for Valentine’s Day. A small boutique chocolate store with a large assortment of Godiva(one of very few in Brookyln). The service and selection is much better than going to Macy’s for Godiva. I always get good service from this family run(i think they are a hasidic family) business, someone rings me up while an older woman gift wraps my selections in beautiful Godiva bags and tissue paper. They do such a beautiful job and I always leave there excited to give my two loves there valentine treats. I am happy and nice to them, I get the same in return. You get what you give Andy! Yes, I will return there every year. Hopefully they will be around for many more years to come.

They sell gift baskets and candy platters and as they call them«extraordinary» desserts. If you want to pony up big money for sub par sweets… then this is your place. They are overpriced and have a real«We are better than you» attitude as you shop around the small chocolate shop that acts like its Tiffany and Co. The 2 stars are because they are an official retailer of Godiva Chocolates. So you have plenty to choose from if you like that candy. I go in there once in a blue moon to grab Godiva from them, but since more stores are now selling Godiva, I have stopped going as often and probably will not be back unless its a last second gift idea. Skip it… there are just too many good choices for chocolates and pastries in Brooklyn at lower prices with better quality, to settle for this mediocre attempt at being high class chocolate.
