Christmas vibe is good. Balthazar almond croissant is good. Espresso is good. English breakfast tea is good. Boring breakfast sandwich is bad. Easily overwhelmed service. What do I do with my body?

A warm, welcoming, neighbourhood coffee spot, Northerly is an oasis of calm near the foot the Williamsburg Bridge. I discovered it a year ago and made sure to return when I was in Brooklyn again last month. The owner, Matt, and his staff are lovely and very friendly. The coffee is from Stumptown and the breakfast/brunch menu looks very tempting. Most of all though, I like to sit and catch, watching the people come and go. If you want something different, try the house special, Café con Leche. Brian.

I love this place! Coffee is amazing. Service is superior. I don’t even like to review things on Unilocal. But this place is that good

Such a cute little spot with excellent cappuccinos & yummy breakfast foods — love the grits w egg! Breakfast burritos are always a winner. Super friendly staff too. Really good for this up & coming area.

Best drip coffee I’ve ever had. Nice staff. Great ambiance. Best egg sandwich ever. Walked in to get a coffee, stayed and talked to the owner for a long time. Highly recommend.

Cozy space with nice coffee and breakfast options. Sometimes there are breakfast specials where you can get a coffee and food item of the day for about $ 7, which for the area is pretty reasonable.

My favorite spot in the hood! Great coffee. Cool but relaxed atmosphere. Baristas are nice and always listening to good music. Pastries are great if you have to run but if you don’t, the food made in house never disappoints. Locals and tourists happily mix. Close to the L, G and J/M/Z trains. I always look forward to the new and inventive things on the menu.

I love this place. They have great coffee, pastries, and espresso drinks, and if you’re not coffee drinker, they have good tea and best of all the best matcha latte in the neighborhood, made with califa almond milk and just a touch of agave. They also have great breakfast foods including a burrito and steel cut oats. Nice place to sit around for a while. Best place in the neighborhood.

This is, hands down, my favorite local coffee shop. I’m here every morning. The coffee and food are always great. Also, everyone is very friendly, which really makes it stand out amongst neighboring coffee shops.

Love this new café, a welcome addition to this part of Williamsburg! I’ve been twice, amazing breakfast burrito(get the green sauce) & doughnuts! Solid latte, saw they have interesting others like matcha, maple, & some other different styles/creative flavors~ will definitely return to try. They also sold some cute crafts /gift items. Barristas were quick & professional.

I have such good experience every time i go there. I schedule my meetings with friends there so its convenient for everyone commute wise. Right off J, M, Z trains and easy walk from G train. I am such a boring one I alwys order the plain burrito and cinnamon pop over which is way lighter than a doughy donut and my simple but delicious drip coffee. I highly recommend this place for locals, tourists who are seeking for different flavors of food and coffee at one place. Ohh very good tunes they have and good baristas.

Very good! Great coffee and breakfast sandwiches, good tunes, nice folks. It’s small so more appropriate for take out than hang out. Pricey(normal for this neighborhood). Cheesy grits with a poached egg? I’m in!

Thank you coffee gods for blessing this neighborhood with this glorious spot! I’ve officially found my go-to place for breakfast, working, and having cozy coffee dates. Stumptown brews, seasonal specials, matcha lattes, and some incredible food options including Balthazar baked goods and the most rich and indulgent breakfast sandwich I’ve had in a long time. Thank heavens for ciabatta and melty Asiago! Add to that friendly service and a classy ambiance featuring lots of wood, and it’s like someone crawled into my brain and created the coffee shop of my dreams!
