A cheap place with considerable selection. Was not able to get too much help from the owner though and had to consult Google.

I usually buy $ 20-$ 25 french wine. This store is where I found the best value. Plus people there are friendly and knowledgeable. Heartily recommended.

This place is ok. We go here when we’re feeling too lazy to go the extra black to Red White and Green. The wines are all about $ 1 – 2 dollars more, the selection is small, and the woman who works here is not especially friendly.

This is my favorite liquor store in this area. Admittedly, half of the store is wine and I’m not a big wine drinker, but when I’ve bought it, they’ve steered me in the right direction. And their advice on wine and booze is one if the best things going for this smaller store. If something went up in price or if it happens to be out of stock for some reason, there’s always an explanation or some kind of background info on the«whys.» They’re there to answer questions thoughtfully and give you all the info, but no one is pushy. They also stock some interesting things like the Art In The Age stuff, like Root and Snap. My boyfriend’s only reason for passing them up is their small tequila range, but otherwise, they’re the go-to.

This is my favorite place to shop for spirits in the neighborhood. I tried a 4 other stores in the ‘hood…all of them were lacking basic booze staples(like baileys or kahlua). Not only does this store get the basics right, but they also have fun products(like Coole Swan… which i couldnt find anywhere but Northside has it!!! so delicious). Also the people who work there are always exceptionally polite, friendly and helpful. This is where i will continue to do all my boozey shopping needs :)

This is an awesome«new» shop on Berry St. that’s kind of hidden but totally should be checked out. The store had kind of a bad rap for a while, empty shelves and dull merchandise but a new owner and buyer have taken over and are working on re-vamping the look and selection. The buyer there is knowledgeable and approachable. He personally hand-writes bottle description tags in case you feel like shopping with headphones or you just hate interaction and can’t wait to go home with your Muscadet and contemplate why you’re 40 and still live in Williamsburg. They have your liquor needs as well. Though the store is up and coming it has more care than Driggs Liquor or Trojanowski in its wines. So if you’re headed over to the waterfront look for this little store along the way to pick out some affordable and interesting stuff.
