This hair salon is the best value. I come here for my regular hair cuts and special events for over 12 years. My haircut, wash and blowdry pack ranges from only $ 15-​$ 18 depending on the length. I don’t love the massages but the wash is decent. The difference between no wash and wash is only $ 1, so its a no-​brainer. The oil treatment is also reasonably priced.
My hair stylist is Sam and I never stray so I can’t comment on anybody else. He is skilled and honest. My hair is just straight and black. I regretted one short bob haircut, but Sam practically begged me not to get it. Otherwise every cut has been pretty damn good. I’ve explored other salons and my haircuts were either not as good or just wasn’t worth the extra money. I think it is impossible to get a noticeably better haircut even if I paid twice or thrice the amount.
I’m shocked at the negative reviews since the staff is very attentive. For the past 12 years, I never had any issues with the staff. If you speak Chinese, the staff is always very warm and chatty. There might have been a few turnover in staff the past few years, but at least 4 of the stylists worked in the salon for over 10 years.

After my hair was cut, I suppose to get my hair wash. Waited 30 minutes and still no one came to wash my hair. End up paying full price with no hair wash and blow dry. Never again I would want to come here.

Very bad attitude, worst experience ever! The stupid owner should just close his store.

My family and I have been customers for years and we continue to come back because they are good at what they do, they welcome everyone who comes in, they are nice and friendly, and they start conversations with you sometimes to make sure they are taking care of your hair properly and to make sure you’re okay with what they are doing. They also just want to be friends with their customers instead of just seeing you as another person they can make money off of. I’ve been to other salons and honestly, I didn’t like them because they didn’t know my hair and take care of me and my hair properly like these stylists do. These stylists will also help give suggestions and advice if you’re unsure of what to do with your hair or if they think another style is better. My dad likes to get his hair cut by Wendy because she is fun to talk to and can hold a conversation with him while cutting his hair. Personally, I like Cassie/​Casey (don’t know how she spells her name) because I feel like she’s more creative and follows up on the latest trend (s). The assistants are amazing. The ladies who wash your hair are professionals. They massage your head and neck to help relieve stress, they make sure you’re comfortable, and they sometimes briefly massage your back after they’re done washing your hair too! I love this salon and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Terrible! I went there first time, and I had no idea which stylist to pick. They appointed one that totally didn’t know how to cut hair. The woman just cut for approximate 6 times and spent most of the time blow dry my hair. Same story happened to my friend.
My aunt wanted to have her hair curled. They appointed one that was seemingly popular in this salon, but the result was totally different from the picture.

My girlfriend recommended this salon because she was getting her hair colored here all the time. And she told me when she went to a different salon and they messed it up, she came right back here to get it fixed. So i went in and asked for Cassie cos she was highly recommended. I was taken care of right away. She gave me a book filled with colors and asked me what i had in mind. I showed her a pic and told her the colors i wanted. She was very helpful by suggesting colors and was honest about what will work and what wouldnt. She then went ahead and started me off with a trim. She came back afterwards and had her assistant dye the parts of my hair that were black (my roots were growing out from the highlights i did in January). I liked the fact they dyed my roots first before going ahead and dye my whole hair cos usually salons dont do that and my hair would turn out uneven colors. The base color came out very nice and as promised. Then off to the highlights and by the time i was done, she finished off my layers and blow out my hair! I really liked how the hair color and hair cut turned out. I will be coming back when its time for another change. I was at the salon from about 11−2ish so it wasnt too bad! :)

If there was a way to give zero stars, I would.
This place is unprofessional, rude, and has inexperienced hair dressers. Especially, CASSIE.
I guess, the moral of this story is, you get what you pay for. But I have paid less and gotten more.
No one greets you when you enter, you are put in a seat, uncomfortable, with no service. After my hair was washed, Cassie, their main hair stylist (sad but true) proceeds to brush my hair out. She yanked and yanked, pulling and tugging the tangles out because she had 3 more clients after me and she wanted to rush through my haircut. I was so mad I asked her to give me the hair brush so I can brush my own hair. She then proceeds to ask «why? does it hurt?»
The haircut was rushed and disgusting. She did not even blow dry my hair thoroughly so I left with half wet, frizzy hair. I told her after she claimed to be «done» that I can do a better job myself, and she rudely walked away to help a lady who was shrieking in pain because hair dye was in her eye.
I will never go back and I wanted to warn others of this place.
